I went for a hair and makeup trial months ahead of the big day; while the hair was perfect, I had some notes to scale back the makeup. Makenzi really internalized that feedback and delivered the perfect face for the wedding day itself: understated, yet enhanced. It lasted all day and made me feel so confident. Perhaps more importantly, though, the moms were both so happy with their final product - and my mom can be tough to please! Makenzi didn't bat an eye when my mom asked for multiple tweaks to her eye makeup, and stayed right on schedule. Shannon also came to our hotel room on the day of the wedding and did makeup for my mom and three of my bridesmaids, each who were able to keep their beautiful individuality in the looks and each looked absolutely gorgeous.
