My friend and I stopped in for the first time early Thursday evening. The space has a relaxed, modern vibe, and aside from a few people at the bar, we had the place to ourselves. We started with the wings, which are beer-brined for 24 hours. Hot and tender, coated in a tasty BBQ sauce, they were enjoyable, but could have used a bit more crisp. Next were the chicken nachos, made with corn tortilla chips topped with beer cheese fondue, chipotle aioli, mango pico de gallo, hibiscus pickled onion, and micro cilantro. The ingredients were fresh, well-proportioned, and evenly distributed. This is exactly how nachos should be done. For my main, I went with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, crispy chicken topped with hot honey, buttermilk ranch, and dill pickles.
