I have passed this spot so many times over the years. I cannot believe what I was missing out on. I have now been here 2x in the past couple weeks. lol. Standard bar feel inside, but there is also a nice outdoor area. Staff and service are great! We tried their well known wings, and they were fantastic. We got them with the old bay dry rub and then we tried a few sauces on the side, which were all great.....garlic parm, Cajun ranch, jalapeno lime, and Mchales, delicious. We also split the pastrami Reuben with the house made chips, SO good! We really enjoyed the live music by the Pocono Duo (Wed.) and Jim Roberti (Thurs.). Definitely a great Local spot!! read more

Went on a Thursday night and we both had the special of the night: 10 oz strip steak, baked potatoes and salad for $14.95. This is the first time we had this as we usually come for their wing night. We were really pleased. Our salad was huge and had fresh mushrooms, cheese, tomatoes etc. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were delicious and the baked potato was tasty. The service was quick and attentive. The place had good music and lots of tvs for us to check on the sports. Bottled beer was $3.50 and served cold. Stop by on Tuesday night after golf with my two sons. We arrived around 7:25pm and grabbed a table in the dining area. We have stopped here a few times in the last few years and it was busier than I remember. We found out it was wing night and also the outside back patio area was open and full. Our server stop by and gave us menus and took our drink order. He came back and few minutes later with our drinks and we placed our food order...nothing special, a salad with chicken, a burger with fries and a chicken wrap. So we placed our food order sometime around 7:40 or so. We watched a ball game and drank our beers...around 8:10 or so our server stop by to see if we wanted another round. We said no just 3 waters, he brought them to us. About 8:25 I flagged him down and asked about our food. He went to check...came back 5 minutes or so later and said that the back patio was really busy and the kitchen was behind and it would probably be 15 or 20 minutes longer. I said ok...at that point it was getting late and we didn't want to leave and go somewhere else. We sat and drank our water,patiently waiting...another server stop by our table to see if we needed anything, I told him we were just waiting for our food. He said he would check...if he did he never came back. At this point our regular server was kind of avoiding us and didn't stop by our table when he was taking care of tables in the area. Finally about 9 pm I flagged him down again to ask about our food. This was an hour and 20 minutes since we placed our order. He went to check in the kitchen and came back to tell me it was still going to be a little more time. At this point I told him to never mind and that we were leaving now it's 9:10. I understand that the weather was nice and the outside patio was busy and it was wing night so more people were there...but it's very frustrating, does everyone outside in the patio area get served first? No customer service, if I had not flagged him down to check on our order, he would have kept ignoring us....not sure if we are going to try this place again soon. I have eaten at the Warrior at least a half dozen times and I've never been disappointed. There are only a handful of places in this town that I would go to without fear of sometime having a meal that wasn't as good as the time before and Warrior is one of them. I have also had a plethora of items here so it's not like I have only had the same item over and over. The wings are always fresh and I've had six different sauces and they're all solid. The burgers are some of the best in the town, and they offer cooper sharp (my favorite American cheese by far) for their burgers and cheesesteaks as well. I really enjoy their Smokehouse burger but I sub Cooper Sharp for the cheddar jack. The temp on the burgers is always right and the toppings are always fresh. My favorite item here though, is the Brisket Rachel. I get this nearly every other time I come here and it is always excellent. The service is always solid here with a cast of servers and bartenders that have worked locally for years. It's the type of place where they remember your drink or food of choice. There are also a ton of TV's typically showing a heavy variety of sports as well as nights where they offer live music both indoors and on the stage out back. If things wasn't corrected I would've had missed feeling. I will just keep it at that. My old fashion was red, it didn't taste like the strongest bourbon I chose was in it. Sir I am an old fashion connoisseur.so please when someone ask for that drink it's not for the faint of heart, so just because you think I can't handle it you may have dummy it down don't do that. The meatballs needed more seasoning, ittaste much better with the hot sauce that was in the condiment cup, keep it around unless something better comes along. I was skeptical based on the reviews of others, but a local pointed me here and yup. They solid. And it is solid for a sports bar. T.O.N.S. of tvs for all around. The space looks small but it opens up and easily accommodates large parties. They have about 4 specials during the week and our Thursday (my bday) is steak night. Steak was what you expect for a sports bar. Grilled and satisfying. No flavor, definitely use the steak sauce. They have waffle fries (amazing!!) that were seasoned and fried well. We also ordered the 'ranch dry rub' wings. Of course we asked 'fried hard' and that was perfect. But again, little flavor! Even covered in a house made (?) dry ranch powder-- not tons of flavor. How?! I had the crab cake sandwich too. Good size, they flatten out the 5oz so it looks bigger. Truth be told, the could cut down that Kaiser roll and put it on a potato or smaller buttered bun and be better off. The server was great. Attentive and knowledgeable of the way food should be delivered. Too many times you get apps and main course minutes apart. PS: you get no free birthday dessert here. They only have one... brownie a la mode. It was good-- would be better with some nuts! Solid bar food, just how it has no flavor idk. I have been going to the Warrior for years, the food is always good BUT after witnessing the unprofessional behavior of the manager and other staff I will never go back. They are rude to patrons and the last straw was listening to the staff refer to a table as "the illegals" and joke about calling ICE to get them out. The people they were referring to were quietly enjoying their food but were offending the staff because they weren't speaking "American". read more

I travel for work so good food is a big part of that. I always looks for the well know good spots. Well let me tell you this is one of those!! I have been here twice on my work trip and both time I was very impressed. Here are a few examples. 1: service UPON sitting down at the bar was immediate and very attentive. 2: First time my food was TOP notch. I got the tuna steak first time and it was mouth watering, side salad was awesomely fresh. Beer was NEVER empty. 3: 2nd visit, bar was completely packed! Bar tender immediately offered a drink when I walked the open spot. Sat at a table and every sever in the building was super attentive with me and made sure everything was good. I ordered the chicken sandwich this time and it was impressively good! Overall conclusion this place is awesome and I wish there was more like it!!! Thank to all that worked on 7/9/23. I come to East Stroudsburg to visit my best friend when J can and this is the spot I always visit for the Old Bay wings and black and tan onion rings. I got to thank him for recommending Warrior. I been here plenty of times and I gravitate towards the same order over and over. The crispiness and flavors has been consistent for me. The service is awesome, the times I've been here I was greeted and seated immediately. That Old Bay dry rub is really something marvelous. I'm an onion rings kind of guy and I can tell you the onion rings are top in my list. I am a regular at warrior. I go there all the time and have a good time. Tonight I walked in and I was met with absolutely unprofessional disrespect from older man. He needs to be fired and replaced because tonight I cannot believe that I was met with such disrespect talking about calling the police on me when I did absolutely nothing but walk in it wasn't even 2am when they close absolutely disgusting behavior from a worker. This the first time I am writing a review because what happened last night was unbelievable. We just moved to the neighborhood and I went with my boyfriend at late night and we kindly asked if they are still serving food and the bartender said yes but he immediately asked for our id's with an attitude and when I showed him 2 of my Id's that both had my picture and my date of birth but he didn't accept it because it was not a drivers licence. I told him that I just lost my drivers licence also I was not even gonna have a drink i was just hungry. I am a server too and I've been in food and service industry for a long time that's why I'm giving this review without any doubts. I would never give this kind of attitude to my guests there's a right way to explain stuff to customers. We are in town for a few days. We 1st started w/the pricey place down the street, and it was awful. We had no hope for the food in this town until we noticed this was the only place that was packed when everything else only had a few people. We came here the next TWO days! Warrior offers an array of great dishes and great drinks. However, they really do have the best wings in Stroudsburg - and they offer an even dozen in lieu of the usual ten. And their salads are phenomenal and filling! The only downside is that the music's too loud at times. read more

Attempted to get to food here after a concert at the theatre, walked in and sat at a table away from the bar and even though we repeatedly said we weren't drinking the waiter said we had to leave because my partner didn't bring his ID even though we said we weren't drinking... My partner and I are both 23 and I had my ID and he refused service entirely. Next time we'll bring the ID but will be going to the bar down the street instead. Had been going here for the past two weeks because I discovered i like the wraps. The wrap I get is actually a sandwich on the menu, but a server mentioned i could get it in a wrap and add lettuce tomato and onion that's not on the sandwich version. I felt weird energy at times when I would ask for it on a wrap or just ask for a drink. As a person of color in a predominantly white establishment i felt the energy many times and even had a bad experience years ago. Ive spoken to others and they stated they had the same bad experience. People of color as well. So last night i got the wrap and found styrofoam pieces hidden in the lettuce. Where to start. Table sticky when we sat, had to ask server to clean it. He never came back to do so. Got paper from bathroom and did it ourselves. Food takes EXTREMELY too long to get to you considering there was only 5 other customers there. Waited 45 minutes for 2 burgers. Asked for med and med rare... got 2 well done burgers. Pretty good restaurant for Main St in the Poconos! My family and I shared wings, cheese fries and a beer for no more than 30 bucks! Can't complain there! The service and food was also prompt as well! The complaint that drops this from a 5 to 4 star rating is that the cheese fries had 2 slices of American cheese on top! There was no delicious layers! Didn't know that they were ok with actively violating PA state law by refusing to serve myself and my daughter food in the restaurant after 10pm. We were told we both had to be 21 to get service. According to PA state law minors are allowed in a liquor establishment when accompanied by a parent. We were at a cheer competition and they were the only place open serving food bc her squad performed so late. They said we could order food to go but had to leave immediately. read more

Went there after watching a show at the venue down the road. We sat down and was greeted by the waitress promptly. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. The spinach and artichoke dip was hot, cheesy, and the chips were unlike any other I've ever had. The drinks are great as well, didn't have to wait long to get them. Five stars don't do this place justice. This establishment is one of, if not the absolute BEST, independent neighborhood spots I've ever visited - and I've been all over the country - from NJ to Maine, Virginia to Colorado, to Arizona and lots of places on between. I've worked for a few pretty good ones too. I'm a foodie and high-volume bartender myself - the food is nothing short of phenomenal (I've tried more than half the menu). Undeniably the prime spot on Main St in East Stroudsburg (and probably all of northeast PA) if you're looking for a place to chill, kick back, and chow down. Top notch, hands down. I've visited Warrior about fifteen times in the last two years. First thing you notice is the nice decor and cleanliness which is not typical for Main Street Stroudsburg. Nice selection of draft beer I usually get Blue Moon. Main reason I like warrior is the food. It's a typical bar menu with burgers cheesesteaks salads and sandwiches but it's always delicious and fresh. If you like onion rings try theirs. They have more tvs than you could want.
