They were not-- I had to go get the checks and mail them myself, costing me more money. THEN I have to spend time making sure they are delivered and post-- more headache. AND OF COURSE I am being charged late fees because when I wanted to make the payoffs I was advised by Jeff not to do so. Moreover, Jeff was very rude to me when I was asking questions about how things were being paid off. He was not open to my questions, and I had to get information from Angelica. I was contacted by someone higher who apologized on his behalf but even when I let Jeff know about how I perceived his actions as disrespectful, he was too arrogant to apologize. He simply said "Sorry you felt the way you did at the end here - glad to chat about that and clear the air if you want - feel free to call me." There is really nothing to say I have already said to him and again now how I felt disrespected and at that time he had nothing to say. The only reason he even reached out is because of the earlier complaint I sent. I am very disappointed in him and in MM and would not recommend him to anyone if they want to be treated with respect.

We just completed our mortgage after more than 6 months! We worked with one of their people out of Palm Beach County (Florida) on the basis of a recommendation for a home we were purchasing in North Carolina. Our representative was both inept and untruthful. On more than one occasion she kept requesting documentation that was previously provided her. She used old data to compute an outrageous closing check to pay off existing debt even though such debt was paid off in its entirety monthly. This was a concept she either could not comprehend or chose to disregard. As we crept to a potential closing date, she got involved with the loan processor which lead to more details and an internal fight between the two of them. I am not a newbie to house purchasing ads this was my 11th home bought. However, this was, by far, the single worst mortgage company I've ever dealt with. Movement Mortgage should rename itself--No Movement. That would accurately describe them.

She's mannerly, punctual, positive, informed, quick thinking, and not afraid to ruffle feathers to do what's right. I searched on Angie's List and found a home inspector that got 80 recent "A" reviews and it turned out that was the same exact home inspector that Carrie uses anyway, which said a lot to me :-) I really don't know where I'd have ended up if I hadn't found Carrie.
