The office has serious issues with billing and misleading parents about being in network. We were new in town and were taken advantage of. We emailed them to discuss the problems and they simply ignored us. They also claimed to have fixed my son's molar issue but it had to be redone by another in-network provider. We took all the precautions they said and my son still vomited. They never told us he should not have dairy the night before. They give little toys to your child though, if you are willing to pay thousands of dollars for a rubber toy worth a few bucks! read more

Please DO NOT GO HERE! They're so money hungry and will charge you for every single procedure. If you want to be left with a hefty bill and like to pay out the wazoo for a simple cleaning then go right ahead. My son had a loose tooth that I knew would fall out any day but wanted a dentist to extract it. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THEY WERE OUT OF NETWORK until AFTER our procedures. They will nickel and dime you please don't go here. My sons regular dentist was closed on the day I took him in. We've had regular cleanings and treatments and never have had to pay the atrocious amount for a cleaning they claim what the norm is. Thank goodness there are honest dentists office out there this is not one. We were left with a 500 bill of which I agreed to 240 my insurance paid a little over a 100, so go figure where the rest of the bill is coming from. read more

My daughter fell and busted her front teeth up badly. I considered this a dental emergency. I tried calling this practice because of the high ratings here on Yelp. Their phone system makes you leave a message and promises they'll call you back. If you have a dental emergency it tells you to call another number, which also tells you to leave a message. I left a total of 3 messages across the two numbers in the early afternoon, indicating this is an emergency. It is now mid-morning the next day and I have not heard back from them. If they did not deem this to be a dental emergency, why not call me to tell me that? If they cannot handle emergencies, why not call me and tell me to go somewhere else? I find this unbelievably careless. I found another pediatric dentistry who were so concerned about the situation they stayed after hours to see my daughter. Now that is HealthCARE. read more

I recently took my child to see Dr Hunter for the very first time and was blown away by how and professional and good with children the entire staff was. The waiting room has books/games/TVs and other activities to help keep little ones occupied. Once our name was called, we were given a brief tour of the facility before settling into our room. While waiting for Dr. Hunter, the dental hygienist talked through what would happen and really put my child at ease. Dr. Hunter is great with kids and answered all of my questions. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

A well organized, well run dental practice. The interior decorating and layout of the office is perfect for kids. We saw Dr. Coe and she was very friendly and gave me some tips for taking care of my little one's teeth. I don't see any reason why you'd not want to bring your child here for their dental health. read more

Very happy with the experience. Today was my twin daughters first appointment and they loved everything about coming here! When we were heading home my daughters even asked me when their next appointment was. There was practically no waiting to be seen and the whole process was fast and efficient. Compared to other dentists my daughters have seen thru the year this is by far the best dentist. Thank you Allen Pediatric Dentistry for all that you do, great job! Side note: I do NOT have insurance. That being said if you want to pay almost nothing and have a 5 star treatment then this is not the place for you. The prices are a bit high BUT you get what you pay for. Our previous dentist was cheap but that place does not compare to this place. One cannot put a price on good care when it comes down to our kids. This is a business and they do have to make a living somehow, please keep this in mind. Love, love , love this dentist office!!! Sad to say, one more visit and our family will have outgrown this wonderful practice. We have been patients since my youngest was 3 (now 18). Over those 15 years, we have had perfect appointments, pulled teeth, cavities, flouride, and one bout of oral cancer. This office handled every procedure with kindness and professionalism. Where do I begin... If I could do 10 stars I would! Most people dread going to the dentist, and I believe it starts out from experiences they had as children. This was my 4 year olds second visit and it was a breeze! We also had my 21 month olds first visit. There were no tears at all, and my son cannot wait to go back again in 6 months. The ease of scheduling with all of the friendly ladies on the phone made life so much easier. The office itself when you walk in is bright and very kid friendly. (you don't ever hear anyone crying) The Hygienists are patient and wonderful with the children and their teeth cleaning. They make the whole situation extremely comfortable from beginning to end. My mother went with my husband to bring the kids this visit, and couldn't stop saying how impressed she was with the whole process. It's places like these that will help children as they grow up to learn not to dread the Dentist. Also, when the dentist came in (we saw Dr. Hunter)... SO SWEET!! Honest, informative, never once felt rushed. I honestly cannot say enough good things. They made something that a lot of parents put off scheduling because they are afraid of how their child will react to going, one of the easiest things we have had to go through as parents. My family Love going to the dentist! I drive from Oklahoma all the way to Allen just to see Dr. Hunter and her staff. My daughter has Sensory Issues and the staff and Dr. Hunter were AMAZING with her, and handling her fears of a doctor office. The staff is over the top at this office! So friendly and kind and caring! My kids love how fun the office is and refer to it as a Arcade!! They actually look forward to getting their teeth cleaned because it is so fun! Our daughter fell off the bed and knocked her 2 teeth into her gums at 18 months. Being first time parents, we were mortified and went straight to the ER (who of course told us to contact our dentist). We called Dr. Hunter after hours on a Friday night and she stayed on the phone with us for 20 minutes explaining all the possible outcomes and addressing each of our concerns. We were so thankful. She also squeezed us in to be seen first thing Monday morning despite having a booked schedule. This office is friendly and you feel as if your child is receiving the best care possible here.
