An absolutely amazing experience. We had went to a "Kid Dental" place to have our 4 year old son's teeth looked at and was told he would need 4-5000 dollars (out of pocket) worth of dental work and might require more "once he was under." He would also, due to his age, require an anesthesiologist and they would only use one that was out of network. I asked for a second opinion and was referred to Dr. McClure from our pediatrician. Dr. McClure and his staff was able to see our son quickly and offered several different options of treating Hudson, one being to just "see if we can arrest the decay by just changing eating habits." We opted to go ahead and get the fillings which was done by a pain-free laser. No shots, no pain, no problems. Hudson came out of the chair smiling, gave Dr. McClure a high five and went immediately back to pre-school as if nothing had occurred. My jaw dropped at how amazing our appointment went and the bill was a *substantial* reduction in the out of pocket from the previous dentist's recommendation. Dr. McClure will be the only dentist that will ever see my son and daughter from now on. They are amazing at what they do, great with kids, and charge a fair price for the work performed. I couldn't ask for me other than why they won't work on my teeth too! read more

Amazing practice. First-front office staff. Very kind, and took the time to explain and give me a run down of how the practice works. She also gave us pricing that we could check against our insurance to see what cost we could expect. Reminders: We received two appointment reminders prior to the day of service. Ok-cool. On the night before the appointment- I received another call around 6:30pm. I expected it to be just an auto-bot with another reminder....so you can imagine my surprise when it was not only a live person-but Dr. Jon himself! He called to welcome us to his practice, and to ask if we had any questions for him! It took me a minute before I could pick my jaw up off the floor before I could answer him. Great personal service. In the appointment: They took time to "read" my child to see what would work for her. They let her lead instead of forcing her to submit to doing something she wasn't comfortable with. In so doing this-they got her to participate and get more done than what was expected! (She is on the Spectrum-so we weren't sure how the visit would go). Overall-I was so very pleased and have already recommended this practice to two other friends....and our appointment was only this morning. read more

McClure Pediatric Dentistry was amazing. The staff is amazing and very informative. They took great care of us; my son loved his visit. He said, his exrays were quick and a cool experience. He was concerned about the bite wings before we got there, No issues state of the art equipment. His exam was even better. TV on the ceiling he thought was really great. DR.McClure is great with the kids and what I liked most is the open environment for exams and cleaning. I was able to sit and quietly watch his exam. As for the children getting a dental service, they see other children are doing the same thing as they are and I do believe this helps them through the process. Highly recommend Dr. McClure and his staff. My son loves his new hour glass timer for brushing his teeth. The paste they gave us to put on his teeth at night before bed Strawberry is working out just fine. I'm so happy we found such an amazing Pediatric dentist. My daughter just turned 5 , and this was her first ever dental visit. I was a little nervous that she might not cooperate even though I prepared well for this. I would be very happy even if she just sits on the dental chair for a first visit. But Dr. McClure himself and the whole staff (Lisa, Crystal, Amy, etc.) are just welcoming, & friendly. They always have a smile for my girl, and are very reassuring. They didnt force her to do things, and they didn't rush her either. So, My daughter did more than just to sit down. She had her xray done, sat and lay down on the dental chair, opened her mouth, an allowed for dental cleaning & exam. No complaints. Just high fives and fist bumps. It was a great first visit. She watched her cartoon movie from a screen on the cieling, and was comfortable. I am so pleased. read more

Dr. McClure and his staff were simply AWESOME! My 4 year old son was very fearful of going to the dentist due to a negatively impacting experience from a dentist we went to last year. Dr. McClure and his staff provided a positive experience that has my son saying he loves going to the dentist!!! Dr. McClure uses non evasive methods to make the child comfortable and numbs the treatment area without the use of traditional needles!!! YES MOMs and DADs...this means your child will not bite their lips or chew the inside of their mouth because they can't feel anything!!! My son after having three fillings within 30 minutes of leaving the dentist office ate lunch and went back to his preschool without any discomfort!!! We just moved from New York City a month ago, and I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have found Dr. McClure. He was wonderful with my little boys! Very thorough & took the time to make sure I knew exactly what was going on, and how to care for their teeth properly. As a bonus, he gave me recommendations for other doctors/practitioners that I have been trying to find for our other needs! Oh, and let me not forget to mention his amazing team over there!!! McClure Pediatric Dentistry is number one in our book. Eight years ago Dr. McClure not only saved my then 2 year old daughter from a root canal, but also changed my son's view of how going to the dentist SHOULD BE! After having been to three other dentists - 2 pediatric and 1 family - with much coaxing and often literally kicking and screaming to get in the door. The first time my son met the staff and after a magic trick from Dr. Jon, he took the hygienist by the hand and willingly explored the back room without me! Doctor McClure and his staff are AWESOME! We took our daughter here for her very first Dentist appointment ever and what an experience it was. It was fun and we learned a Whole bunch!! It was a very pleasant experience at McClure pediatric Dentistry, friendly and welcoming staff to getting in, seated and then Amy the front desk girl introduced us to the staff to be working with my daughter, one thing I loved the most was that Amy educate my girls about when and what to eat, frequencies of teeth cleaning and a lot more . We don't have to wait it was super quick although they were pretty busy but very promising and professional people they are. We are blessed to have Dr McClure and his staff . We just love Dr. McClure's office from the momment you check in to the momment you check out they are do great. They are very patient and understanding with Maggie. She was not very ready the first time we went in and we were not forced to make her have the exam, it was suggested by Dr McClure that we move at her pass and he was right. Each time we went in she was better with them, she finally jad a complete check up with them qnd they were great and thorough. We have diffantly found our pediatric dental care. Dr. Jon and the team at McClure Pediatric Dentistry were so gracious, patient and sweet to my daughter during her dental exam. At 21 months, crying is a given when you're getting a cleaning, but her crying quickly gave way to a smile when she was presented with a little teddy bear at the conclusion of her cleaning. She also loved watching the Snoopy movie that was playing on the TVs on the ceiling. Dr. Jon is amazing with my four-year-old son! We've been there two times as of the writing of this review, and we will continue to go to back. My son likes it because they have movies playing on "about a hundred TVs", and he gets to pick a free prize after the exam. Awesome dentist and great staff! You could tell love what they do. My daughter looks forward to each appointment. The staff prepares her well for each visit. They communicate and anticipate her needs. Dr. John is the calmest & caring pediatric dentist we've met. Great & relaxing clinic atmosphere as well that is ideal for kids with special needs. I was so impressed with the quality of the dental work and their care and concern for my son that when Dr. McClure stopped practicing there, I decided to follow him all the way to McKinney. My kids love Dr Jon. They are 10 and 12 and have been to several other pediatric dentists in their lifetimes. Never liked one until McClure. The office is really nice, staff is great, and the kids were happy. Before their checkup they were taken into a room to receive some instruction on eating and brushing habits. We are so fortunate to have found Dr. McClure. After a horrible, emotionally scaring experience at another dentist Dr. Jon is building my son's confidence and trust back. He is patient, understanding and great with the kids. He does not push treatments that are unnecessary, but if something comes up he makes sure the child's individual needs are assets and meet. Dr. Jon and his staff were awesome! They were friendly and totally relaxed. I was concerned that my 2 1/2 year old would be a terror but they knew all the tricks!
