We also checked out some of the produce vendors and got some fresh peaches and a watermelon and they ended up being so sweet once we got home and tried them. It is located in the square around Rutherford County Historic Courthouse ( Murfreesboro ) There are alot of different vendors including Local Farmer's. There are seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, Homemade Sauces, Baked Goods and much more. It can and does get very busy so you may have to drive around a bit to find a street parking spot. There is also a garage, but I've never used it. You can usually find a spot. There are also usually a couple of food and beverage trucks and there are also some restaurants located in the square. All of the vendors are so nice and just walking around the square you can meet people out just enjoying the weather, the food and the people. You can spend an hour just enjoying the whole scene. There are several large produce booths every week, and a variety of smallest vendors that rotate. Besides produce, other vendors sell meat and eggs, baked goods, flowers, prepared meals, gourmet peanut butter, and arts and crafts. Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it at the market! The busiest hour of the day is 10am. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds and getting a parking space just off the square. If street parking is full, there is also a parking garage on Lytle street.
