Dr mitchel also lied on phone answering my questions again just recently last Thursday even when i asked specific questions about past images if xrays etc and said nothing there... well i looked myself he lied its been diagnosed for years and hes been lying and not treating me and they've told me im too young repeatedly be in pain still now for over 10 plus years as im seeking honest help with no help or pain relief from mercy just lies and shady billing since theyre doing labs and imaging and lying about results so you do more imaging. I have alll the proof its in my med records. They also refuse relief for the excruciating pain. Im in excruciating pain daily, im a huge fall risk at this point, i cant walk many days from pain and bones crumbling and osteo arthritis its caused all due to malpractice ignoring me, my pain etc. This Sounds like a great opportunity to consult an attorney instead of a dr, they might actually help me walk again and not be a fall hazard, maybe ill be able to do normal daily functions again if i join a different medical group that doesn't lie to their patients because lazy or to increase billing and do additional tests for more money. The place is a scam and will not help you and if anything tells u to go to ER for help which is not what the ER is for when i been seeking help for 15 plus yrs and records to prove it. Dr mitchel lying and not doing his job has also cost me several hundred thousand if not millions over 10 to 15 years in lost ability to work and a liability case dr mitchel tossed because of not doing proper care or testsand handling my case properly and claiming im fine refusing to bleieve me because hes a younh dr that said i cant hurt that much and now i cant walk thanks to mercy and dr mitchel and other drs who been involved Now because brandon mitchel has lied and not treated me properly for my condition and refused any pain medication like was previously prescribed in pain management before pain dr got caught for fraud like mercy is about too ican hardly walk most days and in excruciating pain and will have to have knee and hip surgeries probably to get staryed and who knows aboyt my back now that im with different drs that havent lied to me yet. brandon mitchell and every other dr in my med records whos been lying because im only 34 now or theyre frauding insurance needs to stop and they deserve to lose their license to practice medicine anywhere

No words I can write can do justice to how I feel about Dr. Bowshier. She is empathetic and listens...I feel she genuinely cares about me at a person. She also doesn't let me pull my normal stuff...which I need. She doesn't let me get lazy in my healthcare and holds my feet to the fire when she needs to. She understands that I want to be around for my family for as long as I can she supports me in this. Parking here is easy...it's a large lot. The staff at the front is always polite and easy to work with. Dr.Bowshier has had several nurses over the years I've been seeing her; all have been good people to work with. The phlebotomists drawing blood etc. for lab work are all great and really know what they are doing...and I'm a hard stick. I miss Cindy..., but got to give a shout out to Haley! Not a fan of the conversion over to Trinity and their processes...but I'll deal with it. Change is hard sometimes. Lol I can't recommend Dr. Bowshier and MercyOne Waukee enough!

This year, one of those scans caught a small spot on my lung that hadn't been there before. After further testing, I was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer. Because it was found so early, a small portion of my lung was removed -- and I didn't need chemo or radiation. I am 100% convinced that Dr. Bowshier's proactive care saved my life. Her attentiveness, guidance, and genuine concern for her patients are truly exceptional. I will be forever grateful to her. Dr. Laura Bowshier is simply the best.

These people were NOT Board Certified from before 2018- until who know if they are now after their submitted my complaint to the Iowa Medical Review Board. Details below: I took my daughter here to see Dr. Etan Young for coughing symptoms. On the first visit, Dr. Etan Young did not use his stethoscope to listen to her chest or back, instead he listened to me narrate her history over the last few years (of her intermittently getting a cough that would not go away for a couple of weeks). He told me he did not need to listen to her chest because from what I had told him he was sure it was asthma and to continue using the ibuterol inhaler and recommended I get in with the allergy center. He said the allergy center was a separate entity managed through them. I set an appointment at the allergy center at that time which was ,"United Allergy", the same building and down the hall from where we were seen by Dr. Young. As suggested by Dr. Young, we made an appointment at that particular allergy center. They conducted a prick test and determined Emilie was allergic to everything (all grasses, trees, weeds, mold, dust mites, feathers, cock roaches ). They said we should start her on allergy shots right away. The first 2 round of shots were done in their office and after ensuring we could confidently administer the shots on our own, they instructed us to administer the shots to her at home and return for the new vials containing higher doses each month. Once we were made aware of my daughter's allergies, we made sure to do everything possible to make her less susceptible to coming in contact with these allergens as much as possible. (We purchased special pillowcase and mattress covers, paid for a deep cleaning on our home without harsh chemicals, had our entire homes ducts cleaned, removed all stuffed animals from her bed, bought chemical free products, and kept our daughter inside on high pollen days (there were many times she was not outside playing with friends because of her alleged expansive allergies. I had multiple hospital stays and IV antibiotics everywhere I turned told me they wasn't for sure, There was no answer. I needed to lose weight because for them to proceed it would be very dangerous.They didn't even know what they were doing or what they were looking at . They wanted my BMI to be lower. I seen multiple surgeons over the years and it was the same thing. One day I was driving down university Avenue and I noticed a little brick building and it looked so familiar to me. I just couldn't understand why, that's when it hit me that is the Surgeon who did my gallbladder surgery in 2015. He was the one that had 100% I needed him. I was confused not knowing if this is something he could do but it was worth a shot I did visit him in clinic and he told me weight was not a problem for him it can make things difficult, but he was not concerned We need to fix the problem, but I was so shook up about the weight. I told him just give it some time to see if I could lose a few pounds . Finally, I had a really bad abscessed or whatever they would call it and I was bleeding from my belly button. I had to go to the hospital and be admitted, I looked at that ER doctor in the face and I told him there's only one person I want to operate on me to figure out what this is and that is that Dr Mcclairen he said I'm not sure if we can make that happen . Tears filled my eyes as I was completely scared. Five minutes later Mcclairen walked through my ER room door I was relieved. He said hey what's going on? Are you ready to take care of this at that moment? I knew it would be better from here. No questions asked he was ready. I had to do it even though I had been scared for years even the thought of going back into surgery after this, gave me the chills and made me sick to my stomach, but that day I was so confident when I seen his face. I stayed in the hospital. I completed my IV antibiotics. I went home within a week. He had me scheduled for surgery. He did my surgery found things that needed to be removed and repaired my hernia and I am on week one of recovery I seen him today and everything looked great. I will continue to recover. I had tears in my eyes today after walking out just knowing that I have someone I who truly cared and who really went above and beyond to make sure I'm still here and I made it through surgery OK and did everything possible to fix the issue with no questions asked . he is an amazing surgeon. He is very smart. He is humble explains everything to you makes you feel like you're someone and not just the next patient. He is truly and honestly a gift from God thank you so much ...

We are now changing offices because we no longer trust the staff.
