This is the first allergist to actually listen to me. I took a breathing test and was instructed by the staff nicely. The appointment did take about 2 hours because the appointments were behind. I will be heading back in a week or so. All of my new medications are working wonderfully. I am glad I was able toget on the schedule for my new allergist. Thank you Dr. Bagg! My daughter had her 1st skin testing done this past Monday. And the overall appointment was fine, no issues. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. I'm leaving this review because when we came for the appointment, my daughter had a pretty bad cough. Not sick but she had a lingering cough after a recent cold. He asked us had she been coughing like that for a while, I said yes and few days now. He recommended some OTC allergy meds and let me tell you...the relief!! Her cough is practically gone, she started feeling better within 24hrs. I can't tell you how appreciative I am for him telling us what to do. We weren't there for the cough and he could've ignored it, thank you so much!! My only recommendation, is maybe get more kid friendly items for the waiting room. Or let us know if we can donate things: books, coloring pages, crayons etc. read more

I have started coming here due to my really bad allergies I've always dealt with my entire life. I thought it was something I just had to deal with for the rest of my life. My primary recommended this place to me. And the first appointment consisted of testing a lot of testing the back rest of see what you are allergic to and not all to. Then it cons of a second test to verify. They came up with a vital that I will need to take weekly so that it helps with my allergies. When I left the first appointment I felt good. The doctor prescribed me some allergy medicine and provided me with a guide booklet that could help me even more manage my allergies. I felt very good when leaving them as they were very knowledgeable. I am excited to have had my allergies under control. read more

Today, I traveled an hour to see Dr. Patel, an asthma specialist in Altamonte, as a new patient. I left an hour early to account for potential traffic. I contacted the office to inform them that I might arrive a few minutes late due to significant congestion on I-4. The representative assured me there was a fifteen-minute grace period. Unfortunately, I encountered multiple stops on the highway, leading to 4 complete standstills that consumed my extra time. My GPS directed me to AdventHealth Hospital in Altamonte, and by the time I arrived, it was 8:14, while my appointment was scheduled for 8:00. I was confused, as no one had mentioned that their offices were located in or near the hospital, so I decided to call for directions. After navigating through their automated phone system and waiting on hold, a receptionist finally answered. I explained that I was in the parking lot of AdventHealth Hospital and requested directions to their office, as the GPS had failed to indicate the specific building. The representative provided the location of the brown building next to the hospital but then informed me that I was now a minute outside of my grace period. I expressed my frustration regarding the heavy traffic and the lack of available parking spaces, as I was actively searching for one and couldn't just abandon my car anywhere.. After being placed on hold for another minute and a half, the representative returned to inform me that I would need to reschedule my appointment, as the doctor could no longer see me. I was taken aback by this decision, especially since I was already in the parking lot. I inquired about how long I would have waited in the waiting room had I arrived on time, questioning the significance of just two minutes while I was present. Given the circumstances, I have decided not to reschedule this appointment. It is disheartening to know that after driving over an hour and facing traffic conditions beyond my control, my appointment was denied. This experience heightened my anxiety and ultimately led to an asthma attack, which was the very reason for my visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I waited for two months for this appointment and took time off work and wasted gas. I was informed that the appointment could take a few hours, so I wonder what the doctor will do with a 2-hour slot now that I won't be filling it. What if I only needed an hour to address my issue? Be aware, people! It's not worth it. I will find another doctor! Shame on you! read more

The receptionist is very kind but going here was similar to being on a social experiment of how long could a scheduled appointment take from start to finish. 45 mins to get called back, 90 to see the doctor, over 3 hrs from start to finish. My advice is that if you have an appointment take the entire day off of work, don't schedule anything for the day, and maybe bring a snack lunch and pillow read more

We love the office, nurses and Dr. Patel. The new front desk staff are not great. They are argumentative and don't help resolve problems with billing or running cards. They both said they can't take a CC that has been accepted for years at this office and refused to even try. The check out desk lady had to come over and do it for them. Then the one front desk receptionist stormed out of the office. The same receptionist gave me a hard time the last time we were in as well because the insurance doesn't give paper cards anymore. The card was already saved on several family member profiles already. The old reception staff were friendly and helpful. read more

I love the doctor here, I have been cursed with a stuffy nose all my life, I am talking about 24/7, I maybe would've have one day a month where I could breathe out if it, and also cursed with horrible asthma, I went to nemours when I was little but the doc there just didn't care and threw random medicines at me that never worked. Now that I am older I came here and Love it! The doc seems determined to help me breathe again and was super nice! The nurses and staff could be a bit less rude an dont seem like they wanna be there but to have a doc that listens to you and help you out is worth it. I am breathe trough my nose and don't have to use an inhaler much anymore. I love it! read more

I chose this facility based off of reading great things about the knowledge of Dr. Bagg. However, I waited in the waiting room for 1 hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time to be brought to a room. This was very difficult with a 2 year old. Things got worse once Dr. Bagg came in the room 15 minutes later. After shaking hands and sitting down, he stopped making all eye contact with me. He had me repeat the issues I had described to the prior staff, however as soon as I began speaking he sighed a lot and kept looking away, and just in general seemed angry to be there. Within five minutes of describing my sons wheezing, coughing, and rattling breathing after being exposed to certain triggers, Dr. Bagg handed down advice including that most parents are incorrect about their children's allergies. His first suggestion didn't seem appropriate based on how little time he had spent with us and the fact that he didn't seem to want to talk to us, so I asked more about it and he was very short with us. I couldn't believe I had been there for 1.5 hours by then and was about to be sent away without anything expect an insurance payout to their office. You have to understand that in the end we found out that my son has a severe peanut allergy which requires epinephrine and a trip to the ER. Unfortunately it wasn't until I got pretty mad that I ended up being listened to and told it seemed real. We never saw the doctor again after those first five minutes in the room and it was additional staff who conducting further testing; they delivered results that will end up saving my son's life if we ever need it. Overall I was most disappointed with the time it took to be seen, Dr. Bagg's body language, lack of empathy, and his impatience with us. My family will not be back. read more

I've debated about leaving a review about this place but maybe my experience will either help someone else and/or the dr/practice. I waited a while to get in to see Dr. Patel. The receptionist was super nice and helpful with getting me in. Even the nurses who checked my vitals were nice and great, but when it came to the dr., I was very disappointed. I didn't feel like he listened to anything I had to say and was quoting from a text book instead of listening to me. I told him I had a specific and known food allergy but felt like I was severely allergic to something else, as I've been having recurrent reactions but needed help in figuring out the cause. So Dr. Patel decides to run a blood test and on this order test form with a list of numerous things to test me for he only checked off one thing to test me for....the one thing I know I'm allergic to!!! I didn't need to confirm what I already know and if he had listened to me, he should have wanted to test me for more. Difficult to get appointments with MDs because the doctors go to different offices throughout the week. I made a sick/emergency appointment for my minor child with nurse practitioner Elena and was very disappointed. Her bedside manner needs a lot of improvement. She was short, seemed irritated with our answers (questioning our understanding of what other providers had told us-I have a doctorate degree, so I understand simple instructions), and was condescending. Worse yet, she left the room and we could hear her and her nurse laughing and making negative comments about my child and me. Not professional at all. If I stay with the practice, I will insist on seeing an MD or work only with Winnie, the other nurse, who seems far more professional and compassionate. I am not surprised to see the other negative reviews, for I personally could not recommend the practice. read more

I voluntarily made an appointment here because I recently moved to the area and was interested in getting allergy shots again. The day I went for my check-up they were overbooked. The waiting room was full, and there was no sense of urgency on the part of the staff to get things moving so that those of us who work could enjoy the rest of our day off. I waited an hour to see Dr. Patel. Our appointment lasted 10, maybe 15 minutes, then I was told to wait to have some tests done. I waited for a half hour in the exam room and could hear Dr. Patel going from room to room to examine people. Finally, a tech came in to see me and we did a spirometry test, which I'm very familiar with because I've taken it many times in my life due to chronic asthma. The test was performed, I was ushered back to the exam room to get a breathing treatment and repeat the test. I sat in the room another 20 minutes until the tech came back. Repeated the test. I asked the tech about the results. She gave me a vague answer that the test showed I have asthma. So basically I spent an hour to take a test that confirmed what I already know and provided no useful info. Today I received a letter about blood work for allergies that was ordered. I never went because I've been busy and on the fence about whether I wanted to get allergy shots here. When I read that they were "very concerned about my medical care", and that "Should you choose not to have the test done call to let us know, we need to document this in your record. This can be considered noncompliant...A copy of this letter will be placed in your chart." Really!? They are going to threaten me with noncompliance for allergy treatment that is entirely voluntary? I'm pretty sure they just wanted to bill me for the tests. I'm sorry that they feel such pressure to bill that they have to overbook, overwork doctors and staff, and send threatening letters. This letter is ridiculous. I miss my old allergists in south florida, Florida Center for Allergy & Asthma. I've been to both the Pembroke Pines and Aventura offices, and they were outstanding. read more

Dr Harleen Anderson is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. I have major problems with allergies, asthma, pneumonia, bronchiecstasis, and respiratory & sinus infections. She has always gone above and beyond trying to solve my medical issues. Even fighting my insurance company to get me coverage. Calling the ER from out of state on Xmas eve to make sure I was getting proper treatment. You are LUCKY if she is your doc because your health will be the highest priority to her. read more

OK, Yelp took my review off because they thought it was too good but it is true!!! Dr. Bagg treated me for very severe bronchial congestion which I've had for nearly 30 years and it's gone!! I had been to many, many doctors including some at the Mayo Clinic and Mt Sinai Medical Center in Miami but none of them ever helped me - in fact, in some cases, I was made worse. Didn't make it past the first phone call to make my appointment. I have never experienced someone be so rude on the telephone before, and she was just taking down my address. It's a shame because I was looking forward to trying this doctor out. I don't understand why companies have such nasty people in charge of dealing with (new) customers; seems very counterintuitive. Its not a copay, but your first payment on a 300$ bill that you will recieve 2 weeks later in the mail. Totally dishonest. I booked a new patient appointment for my 4 year old, seeking doctor's opinion if she has allergies. Called ahead 3 weeks prior to the appointment and provided my insurance info. As we walked in on the day of our visit I was told their policy for new patients is $100 upfront, and did not care when I explained that I do not have a co-pay and all needed to be submitted to my insurance first. They had a copy of my insurance card that clearly did not show a co-pay. It was just a NEW PATIENT policy. Everyone was so rude and did not care of the well being of my child, did not care that we waited almost a month to see the doctor! I told them I refuse to pre-pay $100 and they should contact my insurance, so I was told I cant see the doctor!!! My child was clearly in need for help as she was actually coughing right at that moment, which clearly did not bother them at all. We left. This place should not be called HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDER! read more

I went there to seek treatment for my constant nasal drip and the cough it was causing. After filling out all the detailed paperwork including the reason for my visit, the first words out of Dr. Patel's mouth after opening the door were"Your voice sounds hoarse". After I had explained to him this is how I always sound (after teaching for 40 years, perhaps)he then tested my voice box and ordered a lung x-ray and told me to come back for another expensive test for my voice box! Only as he was about to leave did he address my nasal drip by saying he ordered nasal spray for my nasal drip. A few hours later I felt I had gotten duped ! My mistake and naivete. When I called a few days later to cancel all future appointments because I needed a second opinion, the receptionist tried persistently tried to talk me out of it! It didn't end well because she wouldn't give up. I feel these doctors are more concerned about making money rather than truly caring about their patients. I felt deceived and ripped off. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! P.S. They also called twice and wrote a letter wanting me to come back! .... $$$$$$ interests come first , in my opinion. P.P.S. i wish -1 was an option here. i spent an hour and ten minutes just waiting to be taken back for an appointment that i was on time for. once taken back, i spent another half hour waiting for the dr. to see me. once he got to me, dr. bagg spent a total of 15 awkward minutes with me, basically asking me the same exact questions i had answered on the intake questionnaire that i had showed up with. he couldn't make eye contact and he had an awful bedside manner. the appointment making staff was rude. so rude that when they called to confirm my follow up appointment and were rude to me, i cancelled my follow up all together. they refused to release my blood work results to me unless i came in and paid them the office visit to "go over them with me" and i had to get a manager, after many transfers, to fax my blood work to my primary care physician who told me there was nothing in my blood work results to go over. on that note, if you need a good primary care physician, i can't speak more highly of DR.
