The doctor has gotten too busy & has more nurse practitioners for new clients. If you wait too long to see him, more than 2~3 years without an appointment, you lose him for regular checkups, & then have to see the NPs instead. He might still perform surgery though if needed for you. Appointments can take months of waiting. Front desk might call back to request health insurance information again. They lost it the first time. To remind you of an upcoming appointment, they call twice to confirm. I prefer working directly with Dr. Moskowitz, due to better communication & better results with him in the past. He's fantastic. I trust his medical skills. Very few good medical & dental professionals in Central Florida, versus South Florida.

OK, on to the actual medical experience (lol). My friend recommended Moskowitz to me and even though it was a bit of a trek away (Oviedo), the rec was hearty enough that I made a much-needed appointment for me and the hubs. As a new patient, I didn't know if they'd be able to fit me in quickly as I had a mole that was looking reeeeeally funky and worrisome. My initial call was easy and left me feeling so valued as they fit me in a week prior to the original date they gave me when she found out I was concerned about a particular mole. After accidentally going to their old location, I finally got to the building and was blown away. The lobby area is VERY lux and I felt like I was on vacation. Trust me- you'll get it when you're there. I filled out some quick forms and was called in right on time. Carla and Lisette were the nurses who got me started before and after my provider, Alicia Nuñez (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner) saw me. I had a great time chatting with Carla and Lisette and they put me at ease. It's crazy how much this makes a difference when you're stressing. I'm so thankful for their warmth! And then APRN Nuñez took a thorough scan of my body and was so gentle with me as she took some biopsies (I let them know I have a vasovagal response sometimes and faint, so they got me apple juice). Afterwards, I was able to purchase a few items from their store (off to the side of the lobby) to care for my biopsy areas over the next few weeks. I was pleased to see that the prices were low. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my new derm. I'll definitely be recommending them!

He had such a resume I had to check this guy out and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Nathoo extracted a lipoma from the side of my head that was literally the side of a quarter if not bigger. I have to be honest I was kinda worried that I would have a nasty looking scar considering its size and it's location which was right below my hairline on the side of my head. It literally looked like an egg on the side of my hairline right above my temple area and was very noticeable in any photo that was taken of me. Dr. Rajiv Nathoo came into the exam room, took a look at it, touched it a few times and said with total confidence, " yeah, it shouldn't be a problem at all ". All I was thinking was there was no way I was going to get out of this without a serious scar because if it's size. I was also thinking either get it taken out now or it may get even bigger and I was sick of seeing it in photos. Well, what he said and his confidence was an understatement. He did such an excellent job that you can barely even see a scar after 2 weeks when they took out the stitches. This guy is a magic man. I couldn't believe it to be honest. I literally had tears in my eyes when I left his office and looked at it again in my car. He did such an amazing job. Thank you sooooo much Dr. Nathoo. Your the man !!!!! She also has discovered several areas on my skin that needed attention. The two procedures that she has done to remove skin cancer have been flawlessly done. No real pain and have healed wonderfully following her suggested instructions. I would drive 5 days+ to see her with any dermatological needs. The only thing I cannot stand about this location is the parking garage and getting there. If you're using gps and have to drive even a few minutes through downtown, add on like 10 minutes because the lights are the worst. Then you have the parking garage. You have to go all the way to the 4th floor and then they have a few spots that are inside the garage, dedicated to their place. The rest are outside on the highest level of the garage. You have to walk to the elevator and then take it upstairs one level. Even when we leave ahead of the time with the gps, we still get there late. We would have to leave like 45 min ahead when the gps says 20 minutes (with traffic). It's 13 minutes without. I drive like a maniac too so I can get there super quick if the lights are on my side. But with that traffic and if it's drizzling forget it. Everyone forgets how to drive and it will take you double the time. Other than all that nonsense, it's a great practice. The parking and getting there though-oof.

The doctor was calm, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He was quick, even though he was busy. He was informative and professional! But the back end, after the procedure and experience, took a huge turn which is why I not only updated my perspective and review, but I changed it dramatically. Following the procedure, we were waiting to hear back from the team pertaining to our bill. Initially when we showed up, we asked the receptionist to pay the self pay rate as we had out contacted our insurance and they indicated it would not be approved. Now, the reason we chose this particular establishment was because we contacted several others and asked for the self pay rate and evaluated reviews as well. This had the lowest self pay option and great reviews. So we were expecting to pay our bill on the date of service. She insisted that she send it through insurance and it would most likely not be denied because of the nature of the procedure. Sure enough, months later - we get the EOB from the insurance company and the bill was denied. AND to top it off, we would be on the hook for what they billed insurance - which is well over the self pay rate. We were upset, frustrated, and and annoyed. My husband attempted to contact Knight Dermatology through e-mail, telephone, and eventually having to drive to their location. After multiple attempts and continued confusion (literally told him they didn't have his date of service in there), the bill has been resolved. This took 5 months to complete. We will not be back due to the disorganization of the back end staff. Get it together. The doctor was great though!
