We all loved it here! We will definitely be back. The food was delicious, hot, plenty and reasonably priced. We loved our cocktails and they have great daily specials. The server, bartender, owners and hostess were all great. Can't wait to go back! 1000/10

We love trying interesting different food and Alley Street Eats did not disappoint! I especially enjoy food with lots of "stuff" on it....if you like that too then order the Kimchi BulgogI Fries and prepare to be amazed! Our waitress Amy was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return and try more yummy things!

Amazing service (I came in 30 mins before close), food was good but a bit expensive for the amount given. Lychee peachy martini was yummy!

I don't eat beef, pork or chicken. I only eat things from the sea. So, when it comes to finding other proteins, it's very limited in some places. I had "The Bob" with Kale Salad. That burger was so tasty, soft and delicious! Everything was perfect in each bite:) The kale salad was yummy as well. Kale is one of my favorite veggies, so this was right up my alley. I also tried the Hush Puppies. They were big and round with a great taste, especially with the chipotle-brown sugar butter. I loved it! My husband ordered the Chikn Caesar Wrap with Tots. Even though this was new to him, he did enjoy it. He raved about the tots. I just had to sample it myself and it was awesome! Those tots were crispy, hot and full of flavor. Hands down the best!!! Customer service was great and the restaurant had a really great setup! Overall we definitely will be ordering again soon:)

It was fairly easy to find, and there was plenty of parking when we went. The building is so cute and there's a little alley for a photo op. There are seats outside and some inside. When we went some of the tables were reserved for an event, but there were still open options to choose from. Its a grab a menu and order at the bar style place which I don't mind. Service was great and staff was really friendly. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. For dinner I ordered the chicken tenders with a honey mustard dipping sauce and a side of tots. I was not a big fan of the breading on the vegan chicken. I also wish it had a bit more seasoning. Every one in my party were not a fan of their meals unfortunately due to lack of seasonings/taste. We did order hush puppies for the table which came with a cinnamon flavored sauce. The Hushpuppies tasted a bit overcooked. Overall I am always on the hunt for began spots so glad I was able to try it. I also noticed they have events there so maybe it will be a fun spot to just grab drinks and enjoy the vibe.

When I walked in, I was amazed at what I saw inside, as it definitely was not what I was expecting (and I mean that in a good way!). I loved how dimly lit it was inside, which was complemented by miniature lights that were strung from the ceiling. Speaking of the aforementioned change of pace, I also appreciated how there were no TVs inside, which created an intimate atmosphere that focused more on conversing with your friends than watching whatever may have been on TV. Finally, as someone who always pays attention to a restaurant's artwork... I absolutely LOVED the artwork that was on display at Goat's. They had so many cool pieces of eclectic artwork, that you could almost consider it as much a small art museum as a restaurant. My favorite art piece is kind of hard to describe, but I guess you could say that it was of a God-like man in a suit controlling somebody who was playing golf. (I know, it's hard to describe, but like I said, it's eclectic.) My one (1) downside to Goat's, and the only thing keeping it from a five-star review, is that the bartender and servers were all pretty rude and arrogant. This is speculation, but maybe Goat's is one of those places that considers itself a "regulars" bar, and isn't very nice to people who aren't regular customers, but the three (3) employees I interacted with weren't all that inviting. All in all, Goat's was a great experience, and if it were an option, I'd probably give it something like 4.5 or 4.8 stars if I could. If the servers were a little less full of themselves, or maybe just in a better mood, I'd consider it a five-star experience. Nevertheless, Goat's was a great experience, I'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend that anybody stop in if they're looking for a unique experience in Five Points!

Rachel was quick, witty and so sweet and had a way with the kiddos my daughter loved her. We started off with the cast iron goat cheese as the appetizer- solid and even the kids loved it. For our main course my daughter went with the grilled cheese from the kids menu that came with fries and a coke, my son just got a burger with everything but tomato from the regular menu and devoured the entire plate, I was torn between the Mediterranean bowl or the Baja bowl however Rachel recommended the honey harissa bowl with a crab cake and let me tell you it was amazing! Literally tasted so fresh and delicious, my husband was going to go with the steak however they unfortunately were out so he went with his second choice which was the creole shrimp and grits which he cleared the plate but that too was sooo delicious. All in all this place was a solid 5 stars all the way around from, service to atmosphere and flavor and just the freshness of the ingredients they use here. We live just 10 minutes away so I'll definitely be back.

Our waiter recommended drinks for us to start off. I had looked at the menu already so I knew I wanted to try the tuna tostada for an appetizer and my girl got the brick oven broccoli. The tuna was so fresh and melted in your mouth and it was perfect with the chili lemon mayo and capers, giving it a nice pop and spice. The tostada was cooked perfectly and had the nice crunch. The broccoli was cooked well , not hard but not soft and had some spice to it. I ordered the hanger steak with sweet potatoes instead of fries and omg it was so good. I got my steak cooked medium well, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved the Parmesan on top of the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect pair. The drink I got was a white sangria which was sweet but not too sweet. You could def taste the wine and all the fruit flavors. My girl go the oven brick salmon and that didn't miss either. This experience was a 10/10 for me.

The food surpassed my expectations, particularly the red pepper dip. I also saw the teriyaki beef tacos and thought they'd be meh, but they were really quite tasty! Did not order entrees. I would say they should add a vegetarian/vegan entree option (or substitution) (beyond something mundane like a salad)- maybe I didn't look hard enough. The service was good but not anything to rave about. We were there at what seemed to be a relatively slow time of day/week (maybe 20% of the restaurant was full). Nothing bad to say here. The pricing was as expected. Pretty typical. Also, why no champagne on the menu?! Come on guys (lol, again, maybe I didn't look hard enough). So- 4 out of 5. Not knocking it because of any complaints, it's just pretty average for Columbia. Though I do think they deserve higher than 3.6 based on my experience.

I loved the rustic feel, everything made out of liquor barrels, the lighting top tier. For appetizers, my friend got the crab Rangoon toast, and we got wings and deviled eggs. The toast was really good but I felt like it was one note, it needed something to cut the creaminess. The deviled eggs were so good with the cracklin chicken skin on top and the wings were crispy and flavorful . I think they were my favorites of the day. My bf got the lobster roll which he said was really good. The bun is toasted, the lobster is cold but he said it's not like ice cold, it's the perfect temperature. My friends said the shrimp and grits and chopped cheese sandwich were amazing. Only thing I'd say about the shrimp and grits is that the kale sitting on top like that is off putting. It could have been plated a little better. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my food because it came out last but I got the grilled steak cooked medium rare and it was perfect ! They did put finishing salt which made certain bits really salty so I didn't like that. But other than that, everything was so good. I'd give the experience a 9/10.
