He tried on 4 pairs and decided on a pair of Lee's. I was just browsing ha, and I found a cute Vera Wang blouse, fit perfect. The store was nice and large, easy to move around in and very clean. A lot of stuff was on sale, and I even had $10 Kohl's cash to spend and now I have another $10. Kaye helped us at checkout, she was so nice and friendly with her Australian accent. Owner blamed it on her assistant. I asked to take everything as I was over it. She insisted on removing the pins. Or charge me $10 a pin. No worries. I will not be back.

After experiencing the tourist highlights of the town, we decided to end the trip with a stroll down the quaint streets for a little bit of shopping, and that's how we happened upon Kahunas. We absolutely loved the clothing, shoe and accessories selections at the store, but even more, team went above and beyond when we accidentally left an expensive pair of new shoes there! It wasn't until days (and hundreds of miles) later that we noticed the shoes were missing. After retracing our steps, we took a chance and called the Solvang store, and they had the shoes! It was a miracle. The team was SO nice and accommodating. Zac Brown could not have made that any easier to get the shoes back to us... in Texas! We will never forget it, and we will ALWAYS recommend Kahunas and seek it out when we travel. Thank you so much! On the outside, it looked like a typical Ross. Ross built inside a shopping center with connecting buildings. Same typical signage. When walking in, a cashier greeted us from afar. Faceless ventriloquy of a cheerfully voiced greeting. The vibe was safe and inviting. The shop layout was also typical Ross as well. Plain utilitarian no design concept. The quantity of inventory was better than the inventory of most Ross' in the Sacramento area. But not being a local, just don't know if I hit it on a restocking day or if it's the norm. If it is, that's awesome. Anyway, the Hubs didn't find a golf belt that was the right width he was looking for. I on the other hand, found quite a lot that caught my eye (houseware decor, kitchenware, and clothes). But I impressed myself with full on restraint.
