Had a flight of 5 beers to get a sense of their style. Friendly, helpful staff, and a cool ambiance make this a place I would return to. Oatmeal stout: More hardy then other versions I have tried before. Normally they are watery but this has a good flavor. 805 with lime: Didn't enjoy this one. I would prefer a corona with lime TBH. I tried two Pils (but i forget their names) and they were decent. Czech dark lager: This was my faborite. In a sea of IPA's it's nice to drink a dark beer. I started out drinking a michelda that was delicious! I then switched to wine and when I tell you this white wine was one of the most refreshing ones I've ever had! Excellent grab n go place on the way out from the Firestone empire:) Store full of merchandise and a cooler room full of regular and specialty beers to purchase. Wife picked up some of the special Anniversary Ale in 2022 vintage for gifts. On the second visit, we found out the draft can be to go not only in the typical growler, but they showed what a CROWLER was! A 32oz huge can capped to keep your draft good for at least 3 days or even a week! $10.50 for basically 2 pints? What a deal!!! Wife got 2 X UDBA crowlers to take back home and I enjoyed it immensely to have UDBA at home! Draft was fresh and I loved cracking open the huge can to have so much beer to enjoy. Definitely take some crowlers home!!! Never knew such things existed, but then I haven't used my glass growler from the brewery I used to go to in years, so maybe I've been out of touch on crowlers. Cute merch store with a little tasting area. They usually have 4-6 things on tap. No seats, just a small standing bar area... Silver lining though...you can sip and shop at the same time! Was so embarrassed when I arrived at the party an every single one of the cans was completely beat up - not just a little ding here or there, but like someone had taken a hammer to them. Called, was told to email someone. Emailed several times and finally got a response to bring them in so the could look at them. Brought them in, was only offered an exchange and not a very polite one. Emailed to follow up that I brought them in but never got a response. Since this Yelp location seems to be specific to the Firestone Walker Brewery Emporium, I will focus on that. FYI that the Taproom restaurant and brewery visitor's center are separate buildings a bit further down the road. The Emporium itself is the brewery's Visitor's Gift Shop. There is a walk in fridge with the largest selection of beers you can choose from of the 3 main visitor buildings (Tap Room, Visitor's Center, Emporium). The shop also sells lots of merch like sweatshirts, shifts, mugs, glasses, stickers, and other souvenirs. After trying out a few beers from the Visitor's Center bar (where you can also take a tour of the brewing process) and checking out their smaller fridge selection, I came here to the Emporium per my tour guide's suggestion. Most though not all the beers from the Visitor's Center are present at the Emporium as well. Some of the specialty boxed beers were only available at the Visitor's Center though. You're free to enter the walk in fridge to browse the beer selections. They have boxed sets of 3 sours that you can get at a discount of roughly $20-25 per set, which is a great deal especially if you enjoy the particular sours included. There's also a smaller fridge to the right of the cash registers that house more interesting beers as well. I ended up choosing 3 individual bottles for $30. Stop by if you're a beer fanatic! First time we came here. We had just eaten lunch so we weren't hungry but stopped in to get some beer. What's awesome about this place is that you can actually create your own flight. You can order 3oz pours ranging from $1.75-$4 depending on what you want. They have a huge selection of classics to sours and kinds you can't get anywhere but the brewery. We are not really into IPA so the faves were Blue Love (Saison Sour), Big Mood (Ale), First Date (Lager), and Lonely Mountain (Pilsner). The service was good and the waitress was attentive. Minus one star because after we placed the order on the app, I chose to keep the tab open and the waitress kept saying the order didn't go through so when I showed her my order, she started touching my phone, tipped herself, and closed my tab. This is not their Brewery OR the Restaurant. Both of those are just a block down this road, you cannot miss it because it is huge and takes up acres of land. Most of it is their production brewery, which is straight up warehouse/manufacturing space. Off to the corner is their restaurant and taphouse. That too is huge (by restaurant standards) but is still shadowed by their production brewery. This Brewery "Emporium" is a cute little retail space just down the street. It has retail hours like 10am-6pm daily. If you want something like souvenirs or clothing past those hours, your gonna have to go the restaurant and choose there. It appears that this store is more versed in selection and marketing. The clothes are arranged like a polished upscale clothing store. Clothing are neatly folded and racked. Marketing displays with mannequins, and a full blown Harley Motorcycle on window display. The material of the clothing is up there, even the logo'd t-shirts are very smooth and fine thread. I am a fan of their choice in material. But their pricing will reflect it as well. Basic T's with a print will start at $22. I wanted these smooth board shorts for an upcoming trip, but was deterred by the $52 tag. So yea, it just depends on what kind of money you're willing to depart with. My main draw for this place is they also sell some of their beers here, both on tap (to be filled in growlers) or polished marketing bottles. They probably don't have as many taps as their restaurant but they have about 10, which is more than enough for me. You can ask for a taste before putting it in your growler. The bottles are not what you normally know of Firestone. There is no 805 here or the basic Double Barrel Amber. There's a lot of experimental stuff here not meant to be on a supermarket cooler. There are beers that are aged in different barrels. There are beers brewed with "wild" yeast much like the original Belgian Sours (which is all the rage now). There are even beers that have been mixed with wine cuvee then fermented as one. That is so new to me, that I couldn't resist to get one. $16 for a maybe 12oz bottle. It is pricey, but I'm also counting it being educational and hopefully special. I also had one of their growlers in my car to fill, so I was able to fill it with one of their experimental west coast IPAs. $26 for a refill, when I think most breweries charge between $16-$20. Again your savings here are minimized, but they're so popular that they can command what they want. The big plus for me, is I didn't have to schlep it up into their restaurant, as I was on my way out of town after a long trip. So if you want to eat/drink, AND get some shwag, go down to their restaurant/taphouse, it'll all be under one roof. But if you want to get in and out without having to deal with a hostess/server/bartender, and just want a t-shirt/hat and/or some take away beer, please do stop here and take a look. If you're a fan of Firestone, it will not disappoint. read more

I had the SOB salad which was pretty good for nursing a hangover, good beer and atmosphere. One thing to note is it's tap room style service so you order through a QR code and don't have a server. When they deliver the food the service is nice though and they ask of you need anything. Pretty sweet joint. This review is for the dinner menu. I've had 805 beer before however I was not able to drink at the brewery. For dinner I had the "Fried chicken sandwich" which had.. Buttermilk fried chicken, Sriracha aioli, jalapeno slaw, pickled veggies on a sesame seed bun. It was delicious!! I def. will be returning.
