My daughter was doing really well and was enjoying it the director was evening complimenting her. But the same week these siblings were signed up so the director was getting paid twice as much than what I was paying. From my experience the director didn't want to lose them he was trying everything to keep those two kids there to sign up. The first week keep in mind the boy and girl was doing the same as my daughter but the girl wasn't doing as good as mine with the jump kicks. We all come another day that same week and the girl and boy they get awarded my daughter didn't get anything the whole time we was there those kids kept getting awarded and my daughter he stopped saying good job doing nicely it was all on those two so he can keep the money rolling in. I took my child out. Even she kept wondering why they were being rewarded and she wasn't and she started to get yelled at he said she wasn't doing the kicks right all a sudden and she was getting nervous.

It's a little different structure than what I was accustomed to when I was in karate, but he makes it work. :D

In any case, because both schools are affiliated with the Valente Brothers, my husband and I have had the privilege of working with both Black Belt owners and helping at both schools for privates and group classes.  At Katana, we have witnessed Calvin Carter as both an amazing teacher and person.  He is an excellent representative of the incredible 753 code and philosophy taught by the Valente Brothers.  Mr. Carter is regarded highly and respected for his knowledge and passion for Jujūtsu as more than a martial art, but a lifestyle.  HIs school is growing and is both professional and welcoming.  There is a wonderful kids and adult program.   My husband and I, as well as our kids, are truly dedicated to this awesome program and highly recommend that you and/or your kids try it.  You will love it!

I learned some martial arts but it was very expensive and not worth the injuries that I received from training with angry team members there. Recently found out my hospital imaging showed these injuries are severe and permanent. The owners immediately had yelp remove the picture of my MRIs and x-rays.

My son's been taking the evening classes since March, but we're switching to the homeschool program that he just started.
