Amazing spot. Very welcoming crew, from desk staff to coach. The students are friendly to new people and the facility is great.

Kids program sucks. No structure, instructor was more of a babysitter. Was not with the money.

Update: I joined in January and really loved it at first…read more I've since stopped going to class. I absolutely hated the partner drills! I had several pretty bad partners. I know I'm not alone in those thoughts as I'd noticed that others would leave prior to partner drills beginning. As a previous review mentioned, it's just not something that is necessary when I'm a sweaty mess and so is the other person! I once had a partner criticize me, I had one that really should've put on deodorant prior to class and a guy that must've believed I'd done something wrong to him with the way he was punching! (Eye roll) It's also pretty expensive!! Plan on spending about $120-$150 per month depending on which package you choose. In an effort to combat my distain for the partner drills, I attempted to bring my 13 year old to class thinking she'd be allowed 3 free classes. Not the case! I was told after she'd attended one class that I would need to purchase a full price membership for her as well. That seemed absolutely ridiculous to me that no discount whatsoever was offered! Overall, if you are looking to commit to losing weight and getting in fit then ILKB is a great way to start. It does work!! My advice - take the 3 classes for $19.99, learn the moves and buy a bag for home and save the money! I did that exact thing and love my continuing results! This place is awesome!! The instructors are knowledgeable and committed to giving you the workout of your life! They are eager to assist you with form in order to get the most out of each round. From warm up to boxing rounds to partner work and cool down stretching it is a total body, intensive workout. I'd definitely suggest arriving about 10 minutes prior to class beginning to give yourself time to wrap your hands. I've been a member for less than a month and have lost three or more inches in every area I've measured! You couldn't find a more supportive group of instructors and members alike!! I've personally never been a member of any gym that I looked forward to going to but this one does that for me! And talk about an outlet for aggression!! Have stress?! Take it out on that bag!! Loving my results thus far!! I truly love kic

I have friends who lost 25 or more in 6 weeks. It really depends on you and how well you can follow it! As for the class itself, it is really fun, great way to make friends, lose some weight, tips on what to eat, and instructors who actually care about you!

Impact Kickboxing Cardio isn't a professional environment for children nor adults. This place…read morecondones bullying and violent behavior that is morally wrong, and they accept and allow it during both kid and adult classes. The coach says that he is here to teach the kids how to defend themselves from bullies in the real world, but yet allows the kids to bully each other during the kickboxing class. I've witnessed firsthand on several occasions the coach allowing the kids to hit each other full force without stopping it once it escalates to something more serious. Another thing to note is that the headgear isn't mandatory or enforced at this facility. A child is more susceptible to get a concussion when they don't have headgear, which can negatively impact a child causing chemical changes in the brain and sometimes damaging their brain cells. His class motto is "If they hit you hard you hit them just as hard or harder back." I brought my kids to this facility for them to learn self-defense in a safe healthy environment. I didn't sign my kids up so they could feel scared or attacked by their fellow colleagues. This is supposed to be a healthy learning experience, not a place they fear. My daughter was put to spar against a boy twice her size, and her opponent would fight to try and hurt her not caring if he hit her too hard. His mission was to ultimately hurt her if he was given the chance. The coach doesn't think this kind of mentality is wrong. The coach would pair kids up this way during class not caring if the kids were of the opposite sex or bigger than the other or not on the same kickboxing experience level as the other. And as if bullying and violent behavior amongst the kids weren't enough, you also see parents on the sidelines yelling at their kids to behave in an overly aggressive manner. Parent's are allowed to yell and coach their kids to hit others in the face without limitations. This can negatively impact the children by making them feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, insecure, humiliated, and give them anxiety. The coach should be ensuring that this place is a place of fun, and skill development, not condoning bullying and violence. The parents should be supporting their kids in a positive manner, not bashing them from the sidelines. Coach Jeremy doesn't recognize the difference between guiding the children and verbally mistreating them during class. So with that being said this is NOT a place I'd recommend if you're looking for professionalism and a safe learning experience.
