I have been pleased with Alliance's work. Used them 3 times for maintenance and repair. But a small problem arose while changing out our door openers. Cody said a small part would fix the issue. He ordered it and said he would install it and all would be good, that it shouldn't take much time. Now he won't answer my calls nor his requested texts. Used them to replace two garage door openers. Initial call was friendly, no hard pressure selling, offered options and flexible scheduling. Punctual and clean install. Setup the car garage door buttons. Misinformed them about my garage door specs resulting in them acquiring the incorrect garage door kit. We were having trouble with our garage door so we thought we would start with a tune up. I scheduled an appointment with this company and my husband. Two days before the appointment my door broke and I had two cars stuck inside my garage and no way to get them out. The emergency release wouldn't work and I called Alliance Garage & Gates in a panic. They had help to me within a few hours and my cars were free. I was given three options with cost associated with each option. I was also told why each option may or may not work. I chose to have the entire door replaced. We moved into a new home with cedar wood garage doors the builder had put in. I was unable to get the builder's sub to come to the house to make the adjustments that needed to be made. Was assigned them from HWA. Tech arrived was there for 5 minutes. Apparently it was just a reset that needed to be done. No actual work. Charged 75 for the call despite dealing with other companies through HWA who charged less than this when the reason for the call required no real response. Sunday is the worst day to have anything break at your house that you need a repairman to fix. Fortunately these guys are available every day. The service is fast, friendly and professional. Ryan was wonderful. He got here during the service window I was quoted. He diagnosed the problem with my garage door not opening or closing although the motor was running. Rude, arrogant, dismissive. Long story short recommended to them from home warranty of America technician came out and fix the problem temporarily, up sold me on garage maintenance for an extra $100 in addition to my service call fee. In two weeks the garage door was having the same problems they were unwilling to come back out prefered to walk me through a fix over the phone. Said i probably damaged it with my garage receptical . Rep was arrogant stating how long he has been in the business. When place on a brief hold he hung up. Still trying to get my garage door to work properly and consistantly.
