All were emphatic about us using him to fix all our fencing. Eric is an upright guy who takes pride in his work. His crue has been with him for years. We got bids from a couple of other companies, and Eric came in at nearly the same $ amount. The difference was the other bids were quoting "Pine" (which is cheaper and doesn't last as long) vs. Eric using Cedar (which lasts longer). His bid also included a Kickboard at the bottom that prevents wood rot at the bottom (required by Timmarron SOUTHLAKE HOMEOWNERS Association HOA). Also, Eric is aware of HOA fence color requirements and was included in bid. Since the weather was favorable, it took two days to both remove old fences, set new metal poles in cement, and build a new fence. One extra challeng... my neighbors yard sits higher than my yard and we had built a concrete wall to improve drainage. The concrete wall was built against the old fence. Eric was able to blend the new fence better than the previous fence. Just an excellent job. Eric is a great guy to work with, and his crew are professional and polite. I had to scramble to reschedule a work meeting that was supposed to start 20 minutes after they arrived. It seems like they would do good enough work but the hassle of scheduling and payment will have me looking elsewhere when we have future needs.

I took a look on Yelp and found that these folks are close and convenient so I called for an estimate. So far in my estimate gathering I have found that their pricing seems pretty fair. They were not the cheapest, but they were far from the most expensive. That impresses me even more because the metal they use on the frames and the motors they quoted me on seem to be of some of the top quality that are available currently. I also like that they repair as well as install, as I want to utilize a company that does both. My time with the estimator was very pleasant. He was professional and informative and he made sure I was aware of things I, or anyone shopping for gates, needs to be aware of before purchasing. Capital Welding was able to properly identify the root cause after inspection and even identified deficiencies performed on a previous repair. Great price, exceptional service, open and honest communication, and stayed late to make sure everything was to expectation. As an added bonus, they told me that they were going to come back and add a plate to cover a whole that they saw wasps coming in and out of. Almost everything they did was a shortcut. From hanging a window, crooked and not centered in the…read moreshower where it was installed. They did not install a shower pan when they were floating a negative edge shower install. They were going to take a shortcut on rewiring switches. They will also going to run Water and drain for a second vanity through the first vanity Plumbing. When they installed the door to widen the entry the door is crooked and sprung. I don't recommend anyone use this company because he shortcuts everything. And even the drywall work that his company did I had to stop because it was so patched up and terrible. I couldn't accept it.
