Dr. Gowell has treated my American bulldog for several years and has cared for a many of fosters I have taken to the clinic. In the last few months our family had to say good-bye to our BELOVED cat of 15 years. As I walked in with my very sick cat, the most broken of broken hearts, tears all over my face and barely any money in my pocket...the staff quickly and without hesitation, took care of my families needs! The care was given with compassion and empathy. I can not say enough about the hard work the staff put into, providing the public/community with quality care and low prices. How can a vet office not have antibiotics? They don't. My…read morefirst experience with them was bad but I gave them a second chance. Big mistake. My cat's claw was torn and it was obvious to me that she would need antibiotics. He said it wasn't necessary. I pressed, he admitted they don't carry them because they are expensive and expire before they use them, thus wasting unused product. He wrapped uo the paw himself after applying ointment. (The same ointment he used on my cat's paw at a previous visit when she had a blister-looking bubble that looked like an angry extra toe bean. That turned out to be cancer.) The next day my cat's paw was so swollen it looked like a stuffed animal paw. I rushed her to a different (real) vet where they gave her a shot of antibiotic, one for pain, and a steroid for inflamation. They also gave me two boxes of oral antibiotics to administer at home over the next week. When I opened the boxes I saw that it was a container with antibiotic POWDER and a separate container of pre-measured water to be mixed together at the time of use. My cat had a full recovery but it didn't have to be so long and painful if the first vet knew what he was doing. The fact that the antibiotics came in a powder which gives it a very long shelf life confirms that this vet either has no idea what he is doing or doesn't care. And by the way, if your pet has been seen in this office, your personal information is available to everyone at the front desk check in kiosk. HIPAA does not apply to you or your pet.

I called the day before my appointment to tell them I needed to change my appointment as something came up for work. The minute I said it, she was like well you're not getting in until the end of June (one month away). I explained to her that I just needed one more shot for my series of vaccines. She says... we don't have any appointments and you'll have to start the series of vaccines all over again. Obviously I'm not going to do that so I got her records and called another vet. They were more than accommodating and squeezed me in one day later. It's too bad that I'll never go back... Dr Savage is really a great doctor. I really liked her, but I'm not going to deal with some nasty person at the front desk.

They put me on hold then claimed a bunch of other people in their tiny office were on the phone and snatched up all these same day sick pet appointments During the three minutes we were on the phone. This is the second time I was unable to get my dog in for a visit when she was sick. They can't even schedule a sick visit a day or two out!! For well visits, I have had to wait over a month. This same team seems to staff two offices, but clearly is spread too thin. Perhaps they prioritize the other office, or maybe it is just as difficult to get in there. Whatever, I will reduce their patient load by one. It irks me that I paid up front for a year-long wellness plan at a place that is too understaffed to actually see my dog, sick or well.

It could save your pets. WARNING: This company removed my google review. I have to go back to google and upload my review again every time they remove it. This is not an honest company you want to take your pets to. We need transparency and honesty in the veterinary industry. Our pets can't talk, we are their voices. I am trying to warn others and all they care about is their image. Note: Their Facebook reviews are all fake, they delete negative reviews. I left a negative review on their Facebook page and they removed it. That shows you the type of people you are dealing with. They can't delete this review since they have no control. Warning: Please do not go to this veterinarian clinic it could save your pets life. They performed unnecessary procedure on my cat that got them killed. They knew my cat was stressed out and still did more test. They should have brought my cat to me as soon as my cat was having trouble breathing. Instead they continued to stress my cat out by doing the x-ray, then doing blood test. They did not even draw blood from the neck which is the correct way, they stressed my cat out and SHAVED their leg and arm. All this caused my cat to stress and have a heart attack. A responsible clinic would have turned down the x-ray and advised for my cat to calm down first or to say we do not want to take the chance to stress them out. Instead they wanted to do as much procedures as they can to charge me. I REGRET GOING HERE. They killed my cat. They do not care about your pet, all they care about is money. They did an x-ray and could not even read the x-ray, they told me they are not sure and we should do a full blood test. The whole time my cat was panting and having trouble breathing in the back room and they did not tell me until after they completed all the procedures. If I knew I would have not done the blood test. They kept my cat in the back room and took so long without me. They didn't tell me my cat was stressed so I agreed to do the full blood test. After all those procedures (knowing they are going to charge me) they brought my cat back to me and tell me my cat is having trouble breathing. After all that time and stress they wait until they are done to tell me that. As soon as they brought my cat to me my cat took her last gasp and died. My cat was crying as they were dying! They still did not tell me what was wrong. THEY ARE VERY INEXPERIENCED. I made the mistake of listening to everything they told me to do and that ended up stressing my pet and causing them to go into cardiac arrest and die at their care. I brought my cat alive, they brought my cat to me dying. When you go to them they will sweet talk you into doing things you don't want to do. They take advantage of the fact that you are worried for your pet and will do anything for them. I told them I have another appointment to a specialist and they told me to cancel it and they will take care of me. Please do not listen to these fake 5 star reviews. They reply back to the negative reviews saying you got the wrong clinic. Before you reply back telling me I am confused with another clinic, I AM NOT. Before they reply back saying that is not my name I never saw them. I'm using an anonymous name so they do not harass me. I lost my cat because of them.
