Diana, who works in the office, reached out to confirm almost immediately after and sent me the forms I needed to complete. I arrived for my appointment, and was seen pretty immediately. I had tweaked my lower back, lifting recently, and the pain I have now felt for almost a week is gone. On top of that, he was super nice! Diana at the front desk was also super nice! Dr. Wray approaches each session in the same way--she just checks your whole body for everything, and focuses on specific areas if something comes up. I had to remind her at least three or four times during each appointment that I couldn't do certain movements/activities because of the type of injury I was recovering from. "Oh, right! Right, you said..." she'd say, and move on to something else. I don't want to get into too many details in a Yelp review, but it's unnerving when it feels like your doctor might inadvertently injure you because she isn't familiar with your condition. Separate from that, I didn't notice any positive difference after sessions. I thought her office was clean and non-sketchy. Rebecca, the woman at the front desk, is very helpful. I did get several sales pitches for products from Dr. Wray, but that's not very unusual for any medical practice. I have been going to a chiropractor to relieve chronic neck and back pain for years - since I was in my 20s and it always consisted of 3 appointments a week for 5/10 min with those electromagnetic pads... you know the routine. With Dr. Paul, he spends 30 min or an hour on you depending on how much time he needs, and he works on you from head to toe. I used to have chronic neck and shoulder pain but I have not experienced that type of pain since seeing him. If I do have pain, I may see him once a year. he also pads his appts with 15 minutes of time in between just for free touch ups! I have sent every client, friend and family member to him. He is a miracle worker and I would gladly pay out of pocket for that kind of care, even with insurance. It's worth EVERY CENT- although you can absolutely submit to your insurance for reimbursement! My husband was on of the biggest skeptics when I first told him about Dr Paul. It took at least one or two years before he actually went bc I paid for the appt in advance. But after just one visit, he became Dr. Paul's biggest fan. I also brought a good friend who was dealing with chronic hip pain for at least a year or two after a fall. She was scared to go but after nagging her for a couple years, she finally went and Dr. Paul fixed her in one visit. Granted she is still scared to go to any chiropractor but I am sure if she felt bad, he would be the first person she thinks of. I've been meaning to write a review on this place for over a year. I've been seeing chiropractors…read moremy entire life, having had major neck issues during middle and high school years leading into college. The week of Christmas 2012 I awoke unable to turn my head to the right. I visited her because her office was in walking distance of my home. I should have done so much research first. In short, I felt like I was molested for a solid hour. She had me take my clothes off entirely and put on a revealing robe (which I should have freaking questioned, since this is not normal practice, and never required at any of my previous doctors), and let's just say the adjustment was way too intimate, and she worked in areas that really didn't need adjusting. It was a really uncomfortable experience for me, I felt very exposed, and worse, I felt like she was really enjoying herself. And maybe this is her technique and it's just unfamiliar to me, but I walked home feeling pretty gross about the whole thing, and vowing to write a scathing review. Over a year later I'm still grossed out and honestly amazed that there aren't more freaked out customers writing their reviews.
