Instead of cutting me some slack on the price of the battery seeing that I just paid over 2 grand to get my transmission replaced, they made me pay full price for the battery and having to sit and wait there for nearly an hour for it to get delivered and for them to get it replaced. Also ever since I got my car back I have been having electrical issues with it. Even though bringing up the issue to them, they said that they didn't touch anything electrical while it was there. What a difference staff makes…read more Not sure what happened but after Andy left the place has gone down hill. Have previously brought my Audi here for tires, as local and prices for tires are very competitive plus GMC rebates if I used my CC. (NO LONGER AVAILABLE). The service at GMC is poor. Non responsive. I let management know and switched my Audi tire service to their Ford team, which is excellent and highly recommended. Recent situation new tires only have 20K miles on them. Filed a warranty issue. No call backs, no feedback. Called again told parts is addressing it and will get back to me. No call backs. Called again left a voice message for parts, still no call backs. Interesting, why bother recording your phone calls if management does NOT monitor the calls! Guess their GM is too busy doing commercials with sports people to care about the "actual and existing" customer! Ps NYE Auto is no longer owned by the NYE family. My wife and I went to Tony Rotella's shop today for a NYS Inspection. Checked in at one of their…read moreservice desks without any waiting. Very nice guy took care of us quickly and showed us the comfortable waiting area and he explained where the bathrooms were should we need them. Not long thereafter he came over to the waiting area to let us know that we were all set. We checked out with the same nice person (I should have gotten his name) paid for the inspection, and we were on our way. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the clean, comfortable waiting area, the large show room, and we observed that all staff were friendly and they obviously like working at Tony Rotella's. One of the most important things in any business setting is a great culture and they obviously have one and it shows. One other thing I wanted to share that I witnessed while waiting. I overheard one of the staff members on the telephone with what must have been an insurance company. This staff member was in a deep "professional" debate with the insurance company trying to convince them to pay for more for a body shop repair, so the customer didn't have to come out of pocket as much. It was nice to see one of Tony Rotella's staff members fighting for their customer's best interest. He was also very nice in how he was presenting his case, yet firm as well and would not back down. If I'm ever in that scenario, I want a guy like that fighting for my best interest as well. If we ever need body work done (and I hope, we don't) there is no other place I'd bring our car than Tony Rotella's after what I witnessed this morning. We'll also come back in the summer for new brakes and new tires as we've heard from several friends that they are great with that type of service and the pricing is very good as well.
