This company is a scam do not spend one minute of your time with these people. I have waited five days for my tags excuse after excuse after excuse, I would rather go to the DMV 50 times over again then deal with these people they're frauds I went in for a refund, and they kept a part of my money for no reason. large fat man claimed it was a fee, but they didn't do anything for me. I felt threatened by them. I was alone with my two-year-old daughter, and was verbally attacked by the large fat man behind the counter. Absolutely terrible experience. I dropped off a registration renewal and a title transfer, it's been 12 weeks and they still keep giving me the run around of some how it isn't their fault. I asked for my paperwork back so I can just do it myself but then they said they don't have it because it's at the dmv. BS! If it was at the dmv then I wouldn't of got a delinquent notice saying my registration was never paid! So now not only did I not get a refund for my $400, I now have to do what I paid them to do. AND pay late fees. I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed in this business. They ripped me off for $400 by refusing to give me a refund. Unbelievable how management can allow this to happen. DMV services are a scam!!! One lien sale should take 6wks or so and these guys have lost me in the cracks. After calling week after week they say they will have thier guy call me next day or call back tomorrow and it's the same go around. Seems like something personal but that would make no since too right. Well and week or two would be acceptable if I had my new pink slip in hand but no I got nothing, no explaination and worst it's been over a Year!!! I still call almost daily to hear a crap line. Great people working here. They got done what I needed pretty fast. Only complaint was the lack of organization with the DMV files. It looks as if they are stacked on the back table. My last trip in they told me I had already picked up my stickers, but then decided they must of given them to someone else with the same last name. Check ID's!! All in all, they got the job done, they are nice people, and I didn't have to go to the DMV. I'll be back for sure read more

I've been using Allies for a few years for my DMV needs. I'm a busy professional who works with cars and find that I buy at least one vehicle per year. Allies typically charges me approx 20$ to do what would take me hours to accomplish at the DMV even with an appointment. Most recently Allies helped me negotiate down several hundred dollars in back fees for a vehicle that had fallen out of registration. So I paid them 40$ to save me 200$ and hours of aggravation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY BY GOING HERE. This place is a complete rip-off and a scam. The two extant reviews were clearly written by friends of theirs and were designed to dupe suckers like me into utilizing their services. I went in at 11 AM to transfer the title and registration on a new motorcycle, and paid an extra $55 for the expedited service. I was told I would have it by 5:30 PM the next day. I assumed that the length of time was to ensure that it would absolutely be done by the time that I arrived. When I came in at 5:20 the next day and asked for my title, tags and registration, the three girls seemed utterly confused and unsure as to where to look for it or whose "job" it was to do so. I did not see the one who had taking my information and credit card the day before, but I had a sneaking suspicion she was behind a curtain, as one employee occasionally talked to another sitting behind a curtain. I stood there for fifteen minutes while they milled about aimlessly, one telling the same anonymous co-worker behind a curtain that she "needed to get out of there," over and over, which I found extremely unprofessional. Finally, she noticed I was still standing there and told another girl too get my paperwork. This girl brought it to me, and told me that I was going to have to wait another day, with the excuse that, "We've been dealing with a new girl at the DMV." I was infuriated to hear such garbage told to my face, but they had me over a barrel and they knew it. The one who had been complaining about needing to leave told me that she could refund my money, but that it wasn't their fault, the girl at the DMV didn't do her job correctly and they were only only allowed to try to file the paperwork once per day. The simple truth is that they probably blew it off, or forgot it entirely, and were trying to cover their tracks by blaming their incompetence on the DMV. The place is a little hole-in-the-wall, jack-of-all-trades kind of place, where they sell fairy statues, purses, shipping supplies, kitschy stuff and anything else that think they can turn a buck on. The lady never even apologized, just shrugged her shoulders and offered me a refund. She finally said sorry as I was heading out the door, but I won't be back here, ever. I went in with a title transfer that had been in process for over a year and took multiple trips to the dmv. When I showed up to Allies to avoid the lines & walking away with yet another delay, they were able to look at the history and even make calls for me to get the answers I needed. Craig is the new owner and he came out to our house to do a mobile VIN verification. We bought the trailer out of state so it had to be verified in order to be transferred. So easy and affordable to have him come out instead of my husband taking a half day. off and drag it to the DMV. Less than 15 minutes and $35 for everything. Can't beat that!! Thank you! read more

First time was a motorcycle transfer of title. Went super smooth. Way better than waiting in the DMV line for 2 hrs and that's with an appointment! The next bike I bought ended up having some hidden fees. Maria went above and beyond to help me figure out the best way to tackle the problem. She definitely saved me some cash. At the request of my wife while visiting Lakeside, I went into Allie's today to transfer a title for a motorcycle I purchased the day before. My wife stated that there would be a $20 fee for the transfer and I would not have to stand in the DMV lines. I showed up at Allie's and this young gal helped me. She indicated there is a $40 fee for the transfer. I thought, well my wife was off a little but that okay it was cool in store and there was no lines. The gal that initially helped was uncertain how to enter the information into the computer. She asked her co-worker for help. She began to enter the info into the computer then said it was a $55 transfer fee. I explained to her the first girl indicated $40 that I was willing to pay. She gave a blank stare. I then took my papers and left. Not recommended to use a DMV transfer station. read more

I had a terrible experience at Allies. I called ahead regarding an out of state title and they said it would be no problem. When I arrived with the bike they told to come back on Monday because they had no idea what they were doing. Girls were polite but the store sells bling, bling and they should stick with that and not something they don't know how to do like DMV read more

I went to Allies because i needed an expert bringing my veh back to Ca from out of state. They looked up the cost to register my currently registered vehicle and it was 1100 dollars. Way off what it should have been. So i provided Allies my documentation so they might get some answers from the dmv. Off they went with more than enough reasonable money. When they returned they had no tags or plates and still no explanation for the really high rate just that the dmv needed to see my out of state registration. After 4 or 5 times of me telling them that document was in the very folder they took with them to the dmv they said well because it was near the back of the file they probably didnt get to it. Meanwhile my smog has expired and needs to be redone and before all was said and done truck impounded twice tons of money and stress and no answers from Allies. A friend recommended the tag stop. So i went to see them and within 24 hours i had my temp registration and within 20 minutes of shaking their hand was informed why california wanted to charge me so much. The other state registered me but did not transfer the title. Duh. Sooooo. Do not expect any knowledge or expertise from the staff at allies. They do not know what they are doing. Go anywhere else. I recommend the tag stop. Btw. Allies still charged me their rate for costing me at least 1500 bucks and so much stress. So sorry i ever went to allies read more

Let me begin with a few words of advice. All who go to any other establishment for services that come along with irritating doubts and obnoxious headaches have to bring their business to Allies. I believe that no other competition offers better fees on any DMV file, paper, and legal work. I showed up there for a title and state transfer on a vehicle with stacked up fees that many other places have previously asked an arm and a leg for, but Allies took care of everything hassle free and at a very satisfying price. It was like going to the DMV without making annoying appointments "which are made by them on the most inconvenient day for you" nor dealing with those mile long temple rubbing lines. On the other hand' you can just go in to Allies and in few minutes come out worry free. In comparison you can't beat the staffs honesty and professional etiquette.
