Ok long story short here because well this is a long story... I was in the market for some wheels and after doing my research online, they had the lowest price for what I wanted. While I normally try to give businesses a chance, especially if they give back to the military/veteran community sometimes it just doesn't work out. So, after finding the item that I wanted on their website, I added it to the cart and proceeded to checkout. This is when I messaged customer service and asked if there was a discount code to apply at checkout for the military discount. I had mentioned the item I was ready to purchase and the current price. Customer service replied with the same item but said that it was a different price, actually higher. I go back to my cart and well look at that, after refreshing the cart the price jumped! Mind you, I was still giving them a chance to correct the issue/error that they had made. Anyways... you can read the conversation. Complete waste of time and diesel. I wanted to buy some Opti-Lube and an Edge Insight CTS3 for my Chevy Duramax. The Opti-Lube website lists Alligator as a local dealer. I looked up the Alligator website and noticed they close fairly early (4PM) so I rushed right over, arriving at 3:42. The first thing I notice is that the place looks more like a drop-ship company than a brick & mortar retail store. Regardless, we drove 30 minutes to get there, so my daughter and I venture up to the door to ask about the items. As we approach, some people in the warehouse look at us through the open bay door but didn't say a word. My daughter then points to a sign on the door that reads "Lobby open by appointment only". That would have been great info to post on the website so people could see it before they get to the front door. We turned around and headed home. I could order the items from them, but I won't. I'll give my business to a company that doesn't waste 1 hour of my Friday afternoon. read more

Bought a Jeep top from this company. Didn't sell the hardware to install. Looked everywhere, called and emailed every company I could think of. No one makes the hardware for this top. Why would you sell a top but not the hardware for it. When I asked to return the top because it is no use, it can't be installed on anything they told me no because it was 10 days outside the return window. It had only been 40 days since I bought the top. Still new, in the box. Customer service is extremely poor! I would NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THEM!! read more

A buddy of mine recommended this site to get my leveling kit. I ordered my kit and came in and boxes were ripped to sh&$. I assume it was the shipping company FEDEX that man handled the products. The products were good thankfully. Second issue I have is I was supposed to receive a $15, $40 and $75 dollar gift card and went through several emails back and forth with them Tim stated I should have never been allowed to receive all three only the $75 dollar one. This even shows on my order receiving all three. I then received an email to review my products along with all the gift cards i did not receive. Through a lot of emails i finally received one $75 gift card and still to this date have not received the other ones. That is one of the main reasons i placed an order with them is because of the gift cards. I purchased a tie rod and had to return it. When their warehouse received the box, it was empty (nobody notified me of this until I called to check the status of our return). They said the package was damaged and taped up when they received it. (Again, nobody called to tell me this. I had to call to find out anything about the status.) UPS would not give us the full amount reimbursement from the shipping insurance and Alligator Performance would not refund us the money, even though I think they should have since their warehouse did not let us know anything. Makes it seem like maybe it was someone in the warehouse that took it since it was a large item and I think UPS would have noticed something that large falling out of a box. The first and only time in 10 years of business this has happened. I could have easily met their requirement but everything we priced was overpriced for a wholesale buyer. BEST SHOP AND SERVICE EVER! They have done nothing but help me out with questions and parts. I could be on the phone asking questions for hours and wont feel rushed to hang up or they wont put me on hold they are there for you unlike most shops. Once I got a package and UPS wasn't so nice to it and broke it. I called Alligator and they sent me a new one that same day. If something wrong or bad happens give the shop a call first and tell them the situation and they will do everything they can to resolve it if it was a problem on their end or not they will help you. If you're looking for a shop that is there for the customer and not making sales then Alligator hands down is the place to go for all your needs they can do any rig diesel or gas they will take care of you! read more
