So my mother has macular degeneration and moved here last year, so I wanted to update her…read moreprescription and find a provider. I will never go back to this place, ever, after all of the back-and-forth. Here's a list of things that went wrong: 1. Getting her glasses. They said it was only 2-3 weeks. It ended up being closer to 2-3 *months* before she got both scripts for her near and far-sighted glasses. One was late because they messed up the lenses the first time and had to redo them. They did not tell me this until I started complaining about why it was taking so long. 2. Getting insurance figured out. Most of the people I saw there were my mother's age and are (likely) on Medicare. You would think they never saw a Medicare card in their life. Adding in Tricare and federal BCBS, they could not figure out how bill her insurance. At first they said they couldn't run anything medical and charged us almost full price. Next time, they got all three insurances added to her account and started believing me that they could bill her medical because of her *medical diagnosis* of macular degeneration. Which leads me to... 3. Correctly billing for their services. I've been getting auto-mailed bills for an extra $100, saying that the insurance needs to be figured out. Well, I've been there twice, in person, with my mom to get this sorted, but apparently nothing has been done except updating her profile. This is totally opposite of what they promised to do, which is rerun her insurances and provide a *refund* for the difference she already paid. I'm calling them tomorrow to raise some grief about why, since APRIL, I'm still dealing with their nonsense. I'm at the point where the next establishment I'm calling is the Minnesota Board of Optometry. I'm an attorney, so remember kids that you can pursue legal options if your optometrist keeps messing up your prescription. Don't bring your elderly parents here. They also tried to upsell my mom on a pair of Kate Spade glasses when she's on a fixed income and has dementia. That sort of sales work is shady and morally repugnant.

It was a nice looking place and very comfortable. They onboarded the 3 of very efficiently and got us all in and out very effectively. The testing room employee was very knowledge and the process was seamless. When I enter one of their exam rooms, the eye doctor was there in just a few minutes and she was very knowledgeable and worked with me to determine my needs in a becoming way. My 2 sons had the same exact experience. I knew it was time for new glasses for me and I found what I liked and their optician was very knowledge and low key on my options. In fact, the entire experience as extremally chill with no pressure for us to act on anything. Much different that past experiences with many eye doctor offices and optician shops. Our 1st experience at Eagan Eye Clinic was prenominal. I am recommending them to anyone that mentions that they need an eye doctor to me.

When I noticed the damage the employee said oh I thought it was a smudge. It's way more than a smudge, it's horrible damage to my frames. I thought it was weird that they made me sign a waiver so now I'm out over $750 without even a sorry. No type of apology whatsoever. I paid a copay also for the lenses in these frames but since I'm unable to wear them, the lenses are worthless. I have to start over but now I've used my benefits for the year. I wish I wouldn't have went here in the first place. I had a bad feeling when I first sat down they seemed unorganized. I should have walked out but I wanted to support a small local business my mistake.

My son sees a pediatrician here and we are very pleased with her service, the cleanliness of the facility and the courtesy of the staff who work there. I can usually get an appointment the same day or the next day by scheduling online of course. There are a variety of specialties there I don't even know them all but they also have eye services and podiatry. The clinic is very well labeled so it's easy to find where you're supposed to be. I've always seen Allina providers and will continue to in the future.

I saw this place had most of the services I need (general practice, allergies, dermatology), so I made the switch. I wanted to go in to get tested for diabetes because I was showing some of the symptoms, it runs in my family and I had not had a physical in years anyways. I figured it wouldn't hurt. So I go into the office and I'm explaining this to the Internal Medicine Dr and she cuts me off and starts asking me some questions. She asks if I'm on birth control and when I had my last pap. I answered her even though I was confused as to what it really had to do with getting tested for diabetes. I guess I figured hey, I'm not a doctor. I'll just paraphrase the rest - basically she continued to lecture me on the dangers of getting pregnant/stds. I explained that I'm 26 years old and that my boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years, we use condoms etc etc. She insisted on me getting a pap smear right then and there. Maybe other ladies are totally cool with spontaneous pap smears and not getting any help with the actual reason they went there but I don't know, it wasn't really my favorite I guess. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that I did end up finding out that I didn't have diabetes. Plus I got the surprise bonus tests to find out I wasn't pregnant and I didn't have STDs or cancer. Hooray!

They also have very short business hours ( 3-4 days a week). During my time in the waiting room while my daughter had her exam, 1 person came to pick up their glasses and the order had never been pushed through so they were never ordered. Another person came in because they hated their new glasses and wanted to go back to what they had before. They eyeglass guy had no concern with that, other than to say OK and worked on the insurance to change the lenses back no singular vision. The man in charge of frames was not interested in helping or offering suggestions on what would look good for her face. His only comment was women's are over there and men's frame start at the end of that tall shelf. My daughter is 17 years old, so went into the exam room by herself, not wanting or needing me in there. Afterward, the Doctor only said "not much change in her prescription, then walked away. The staff did not give us a print out of my daughters prescription so I had to go back and ask for that since there were not any frames in this location my daughter liked. I have never had an eye exam where they don't provide you a copy of your prescription. It really felt like this was a place getting ready to close up shop or go out of business and was just counting the minutes until it's over. My family of six will not be returning.

I was aware that I could not use them together. Not a problem to me! When checking out, I ended up spending around $175, instead of the $75 for a complete pair of glasses that the Yelp deal advertises. I told him that I would even just forfeit the Living Social deal. Not the case at all. He seemed pushy in selling me a second pair of glasses & in the upsell of the polarized lenses. I just wasn't totally satisfied in the service that was provided to me in my visit & how I was told that the Living Social Deal was a better deal than the Yelp deal. How is $175 cheaper than $75? I emailed E.o.M & the response was cold. When I picked up my sunglasses, the Manager was even cold. I was told that the $75 coupon from Yelp is bogus and that they don't honor it. Horrible customer service in my opinion & I have worked in the service industry for over 15 years. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! If I could give this a 0 out of 5 stars, trust me, I would have.
