If I could do no stars, I would. The director is obviously notorious for being rude and also, if you're on any type of assistance or don't simply look like them, she will also be rude to you. My Care was terminated simply because I asked how much I owed, so we were on the same page. Because there is a discrepancy of what I was told, and what was on paper with two different things when I asked her to confirm, she turned around and told me sorry I don't wanna deal with this. Your care has been terminated after five days, not to mention it was mid day, in the middle of my shift when I got the call to pick them up. I was never rude and remained respectful at all times. This was absolutely bogus. All that Christian stuff went right out the door. Smh shame on you. Don't even see hope you're still open. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for years, but after dropping my son off at Allison's today, I was overcome with thankfulness. I knew today was finally the day to submit this review. We started at Allison's in the spring of 2015 when our oldest son was just 12 weeks old. I was a teacher in the district and had heard wonderful things about Allison's. Since the daycare was close to the campus I worked at, we enrolled. I dropped him off the first day with tears and felt like there was no way somebody could care for my baby like I could. I would stop by and check on him at lunch, and he was always happy. They never knew when I might pop up, but he was always happy and being taken care of when I did. I quickly came to trust the ladies in the playhouse. In fact, I felt they knew more than I did about taking care of babies and felt 100% comfortable leaving my baby with them. As he grew older, we were always sad to leave the familiarity of the teachers that had taken such good care of him, but we were always greeted by a new teacher just as kind, patient and knowledgable as the last. Our oldest left Allison's after being in every class at the school. He left 100% prepared for kindergarten both academically and socially. He even tested into the GT program, and I credit Allison's with giving him the foundation he needed to do that. When we had our youngest, it was a no brainer. He, too, would be an Allison's kid. He has also been to every class on campus and has had all of the teachers. Each one different than the last, but just as wonderful. He is 4 and knows his letters, letter sounds, and is developmentally ready to start reading (which he is learning to do in pre-K at Allison's). Thanks to the wonderful teachers at Allison's, he will be more than ready for kindergarten next year. I also have to brag on the office and other staff on campus. When I have had a concern, it has always been addressed immediately and to my satisfaction. I have never felt like I was not heard when I brought up a concern. Ms. Betty, who prepares the meals and does about a million things at the school, is excellent about remembering food allergies and making accommodations for my kiddos. Every single person at the school makes us feel safe and welcomed. All of this to say, I would 100% trust Allison's with your kids. It's hard to leave kids in the hands of what feels like strangers, but the teachers and staff at Allison's will soon feel like family, I guarantee it. read more

As a new mom, I knew I wanted to find the best daycare. I toured others in the area, and Allison's just felt right at home. I trusted my gut, and am glad I did. The staff has been phenomenal, and in the 19 months we've been there, there hasn't been staff turnover for our daughter. Consistency is important when getting into routine, and our daughter is always in such a happy mood - both when we drop her off and pick her up. I didn't know it was possible for someone to love my daughter the way we do, but at Allison's Clubhouse, that's what we found. It speaks volumes to how well the facility is run and how they hire people with a passion for nurturing children. We have been delighted with the care, and cannot say enough good things. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. UNATTENTIVE, DIAPER RASHES, DIRECTOR TRASH My daughter was there all of 3 months and our experience was horrific. 1st things 1st everything seems great initially arriving at Alison's clubhouse. My only initial concern was the size of the infant room. It was super small but with my daughter only being 5 months i didnt think she required so much space, especially with her being moved to the next age group's class at 6 months. 6 months turned to 7 and 7 turned to 8 while my baby was STILLLL in the infant class with 6 week old babies. She at 6 months was active but instead of sending her to the next class, the DIRECTOR, ANDDD the teacher complained EVERYDAY about her not wanting to sit in a bed majority of the day and she would cry 80% of the day. (maybe some due to the constant diaper rashes every week) -My baby rarely cries. She's been in another daycare for a little over a month and there has been 0 cases of excessive crying and 0 cases of diaper rash. When asked to provide proof of her excessive crying and disturbance of the babies, they were unable to provide video footage of her excessive crying. Whenever I would just drop by or pop in she would never be crying. When my baby left the 2nd teacher in the baby room denied all crying rumors and mentioned she was just advance for the class. INSTEAD of finding solutions for my baby to see why she was "crying" the DIRECTOR WENDY, suggested my baby leave with a 2 weeks notice. As the parent, I suggested some favorite toys, snacks, and songs. They didn't even consider not 1 piece of advice. I've asked for meetings with the "director" and she just happen to take 2 weeks of vacation and could not meet but was "keeping an eye" on my daughter to see how how she was progressing in her crying. I'm writing this review well over a month after the situation to see if i still felt the same way about this daycare and i do. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A DAYCARE. Even though my daughter stopped going, i am STILL being charged for her through their app. HIGHLY would NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Well so much for an opinion. It actually took longer than I thought but my daycare was terminated yesterday because of my review. I was told that I "smeared" her name and that I "ignored" her when she tried to talk to me. Allegedly, I refused to say one word to the director when she spoke to me. "Not one", I clarified. This makes no sense to me knowing that this person is with my children most of the day. Why would i ignore her or be mean to her when she has that much power over my children? Im not saying that im worried about her harming them but she has the ball in her court if that makes any sense. And I'm a common sense kind of individual. Now do I go out of my way to engage in conversation with this individual like I do with everyone else under the sun? No. Why? Because she has a problem with regulating her tone and words when she addresses me. And she makes me uncomfortable. What I didn't address in my review is how condescending and rude she can be. However, I am responsive when spoken to. "Please" "thank you" "hello" in response is always my verbage when interacting with the professional as witnessed by her receptionist (who was mysteriously absent yesterday when I got my walking papers). She also "chased me down in the playground two weeks ago to talk to me and I completely ignored her" i was informed. Mind you, two weeks ago was thanksgiving break and the following week, she was not at the center at all the whole week. So im very puzzeled by this phantom chase. And I haven't seen her outside of the center in a month or so. She said "good night" and I responded "thank you". Did i shoot off fireworks and do back flips when she spoke to me? Uh no. Every interaction, with the exception of two, with this woman was supervised by her office staff and amicable. (we talked about potty training and yesterday when she couldn't wait to tell me "now you can go smear my name some more on social media" as I was walking out the door). I just laughed in pity. I was told monday when I requested a meeting with her and the owner and the receptionist (who witnessed the majority of our interactions) that the owner doesn't deal with parents, so basically she doesn't have a supervisor to talk to. I tried. My answer to that was "well I guess there's no point in meeting with just her, I guess." I have since had nice conversational exchanges with her. So nice in fact that the call yesterday morning was about continuing my daycare next week! Lol so between 1030 am and 4pm she was informed of my review. My experience with personalities like hers is, they are never wrong and I can only imagine what that meeting would have been like, being that she managed to lie to "me" about "me" as if "I" wasn't there. Lol All in all, I thank the person that informed her of my review. Though she obviously doesn't believe she has personality issues, maybe understanding how she comes off to others "depending the day" will help her to modify her behavior. I wish she would have told me when I talked to her in the morning versus when I picked my children up at 430 (though she requires two weeks notice when you "break up" with her). Very classy lol I feel that some people are not good with constructive criticism. Her failed attempt to inconvenience me failed. A "smear" would equate to a lie, which this is not the case. An "unbecoming attitude depending on the day" is very mild compared to what some of the other parents I have talked to have said. This does not change my opinion of the daycare. I still think the staff is great! But you can't teach an old dog new tricks. She is gonna be what she is gonna be. I refuse to swallow a lie and allow this person to challenge my integrity and intelligence. She and I and her staff member know the truth. Whatever she has to tell herself so she can sleep at night is her prerogative. My conscience is clear. I took a couple of stars for unprofessional sensitivity and making false statements to validate her personal vendetta with my review. Lol Trust me. I'm not mad because I was already looking for a new center. She actually did me a favor because I was worried about losing my spot because of the "two week notice" regulation and I was trying to figure out my timing. My boys start Monday!! My son is 3 months old and has been going to Allison's every day for about a month since I returned to work after maternity leave. So far I have been very happy with the care that he receives there. His teacher is a very sweet and caring woman, and my baby obviously likes her. The other babies all seem happy & well cared for, too. I have dropped in unexpectedly several times and every time, my son is always being held, cuddled, played with, rocked, read to, or sung to. The teachers also provide a "report card" at the end of every day showing when my baby napped, ate, and got his diaper changed. Even though the babies in his classroom are so young, the teachers do activities with them every day (singing, reading, tummy time, going outside, art projects). Allison's is also a great bargain compared to other facilities in the area. I'm a happy mama! read more

We absolutely love Allisons! My daughter went there 7 yrs ago and now my son is there. I was surprised to see that the teachers are still the same ones my daughter had when she attended. So low turn over rate which is good. Another thing I love about Allisons is how clean it is! Cleanliness is a big deal when you need to have well children so you wont miss work. The only thing thats not so good is they do not avvept credit cards. Other than that it is a great place to be. The staff really care about your children. read more

This place is great! Both of my kids enjoys all of their teachers. There's about 2 teachers per classroom and then there's different teachers for the morning shift and the afternoon shift. The kids enjoy the playground and the meals. They do have a large parent manual you have to sign but it's worth it. With all the activities they do, the kids enjoy going each day. The only negative is they don't take credit/debit cards. read more

Our daughter started at Allison's Clubhouse as an infant at just 8 weeks, and stayed through 5th grade. The caregivers at Allison's helped me learn to be a mom, loved my kid, and watched her with such love and compassion throughout her time there. The curriculum is Christian based, and rules are set and enforced with the kids in mind. I cannot recommend Allison's Clubhouse highly enough! My one complaint is that they did not accept credit cards, so I had to write a check each week. read more

Allison's Clubhouse is top notch in my family's book. We absolutely love the center, Ms. Wendy and her staff. It is hard to read such terrible reviews about a business and or person that does what they do so well but get criticized by others that are just in a bad mood or just creepy! This center is one of the BEST and I know from experience that you are not going to find the kind of care, love and support anywhere else, especially that is affordable. It's too sad for those that just can't let a bad day be that, a bad day. Instead of trying to smear someone because you got on up the wrong side of the bed. We started attending the daycare at the end of August and we were very excited. However that dwindled within two weeks of them being there. My 4 year had seizure disorders during infancy which has effected him developmentally, Wendy, the director was aware of this and was informed that he was being potty trained before attending the daycare. He was doing very well, and would have accidents only once or twice in those first couple weeks. Wendy called me practically insulting my child who has a disability by stating in a very condescending way that it is absurd for a child his age to have accidents and that it would be even more absurd for the teachers to care for him if he does. She informed me that if it continued that he would be kicked out of the daycare, again, this is a child with a disability. Fast-forward a couple weeks later, they start complaining that my 2 year old toddler cannot be managed and once again starts threatening kicking us out of the daycare. Instead of finding a way to redirect and provide a toddler with the opportunity to grow and learn my husband and I were asked to pick him up almost daily. It got to the point that I decided to come to the daycare to observe my toddler in order to witness what they claimed he was doing. As we walked into the classroom, his teacher very rudely told my son to get in the back of the line, without a smile or a welcome. As an educator myself, this broke my heart. I observed my son while they were outside at recess (without his knowledge), and he was standing in the corner very sadly, playing by himself. There were no tantrums or anything else they claimed that he does. After leaving, the next day Wendy called us once again to come pick him up because of his "behavior". I was fed up. I expressed to the director that my son should be given a chance to grow and that as a daycare they should know how to redirect the behavior instead of labeling a 2 year old as a "problem child" and causing him to feel unwanted. I understand that all children especially at that age can be a handful, however it is the job of educators to nurture, and provide students the opportunity to learn and grow. Before I could finish my concerns she told me that my family would no longer be attending the daycare and proceeded to hang up on me. The incident happened around 10:30/11 the time that the children normally eat lunch. However when we picked up my son he was taking a nap and when we got home he was starving and devoured the food we gave him. We learned that they refused to feed my son and let him go to sleep hungry, something that should be labeled as child abuse. I am completely disgusted at this daycare and even more so that they use the term "Christian centered" as a decoy to disrespect and abuse my children by their lack of care, concern and love. As a minority I am also concerned that this was done intentionally because of underlying discrimination and racism, especially when I read reviews of other family's of color and how they have been treated in this facility. read more

I love Allison's playhouse. I would not leave my granddaughter any where else. As a former daycare provider of 19 years, I knew exactly what quality and loving daycare looks like, and I found it here. They love my granddaughter and also have taught her so many things. The entire staff is awesome!!! She has loved every teacher and classroom she has been in and will be so prepared for kindergarten because of Allison's Playhouse. Love everyone works there, from the office staff to every teacher. I would recommend to anyone looking for childcare. Never have I worried one minute since my granddaughter started Allison's Playhouse almost 2 years ago. read more

I have kids in all 3 buildings of Allisons (Playhouse, Clubhouse, & the Gym), and I love it in all three. This is the best daycare around by far! The teachers care about my kids and so do the directors adn other staff. It's very clean, professional, and stimulating for the kids. read more
