They did however have an iPad linked to their website which gave English translations. The salami plate starter was fantastic and quite generous. The house red wine was incredibly drinkable as well. And for only €8 for half a bottle? Such a steal! For my main course, I had the fettuccine ragout and was not disappointed. Across the board, everyone at our table noted how high quality the pasta was. I really want to give them five stars because I loved my experience here. Unfortunately, I was exhausted so I took my meal to-go and ate it in my hotel room. It was so delicious. It lived up to all of the hype that people say about pasta in Italy. I look forward to coming back here and trying more items on the menu. The place is small... No frills but just outside the restaurant there were tons of stickers showing their accolades for the food they serve so that was a good sign. Another good sign is the long waiting list of folks trying get a table for dinner after 9.45 pm on a Sunday night. The menu isn't long and they had a tasting menu so I opted for that. You can choose either meat or seafood with the tasting menu and you get three courses plus dessert for just €28! The first course I chose was this hake dish marinated in vinegar with carrots and onions. It was ok not amazing... If you're squirmish and don't want to eat small fish with their head on this is not the dish for you lol. The next dish is a cuttlefish and artichoke risotto. This place is known for its risotto and boy it was amazing. Never knew risotto was suppose to be cooked where each grain has a bite and not mushy.the delicate flavour of the cuttlefish and artichoke worked so well and the dish was perfectly seasoned. The dish was creamy and I found myself scraping for the last pieces of risotto on the dish! I want more! Lol. The third dish I got was grilled octopus. The dish seemed like it straight up came from the sea with the long tentacle of the octopus. The octopus was tender and have the taste of the sea... Went really well with the sun dried tomatoes. I was amazed of the beautiful colour and the texture... So tender. If you like seafood this will quench your thirst for it. It also went well with the prosecco I ordered. If you're not into seafood, stir clear from this because it is straight up a seafood type of dish... and it'll taste like meat marinated in sea water. For dessert since it was my first night back in Italy I hard to give homage to the tiramisu. The tiramisu was light and fluffy... Not too sweet... Not too much coffee flavour, perfectly balanced. As much as I enjoyed it, being the fourth dish ... I was stuffed! It's a good reminder for me when I make tiramisu that it shouldn't be too sweet and delicate and flavoured lightly by coffee. The staff were really nice and attended me well, they are pretty on point and have a great system working. I'd recommend making reservations if you can cause this place get busy! Overall the experience was good and the wait was worth it for this restaurant. Good value for the money and gave me a good experience on how it is like eating like a local in Milan.

He chose a delicious wine, perfect for the main dish beef I planned to order. My husband ordered a wonderful fizzy water that we hope we can find at home. I am celiac, so no bread for me. However, my husband said the pillowy focaccia was his favorite out of the selections in the basket. Let me tell you about the olives: they were the best green olives I have ever had, popping with garlic flavor, and their texture was perfect. They tasted home-made to me! We started the meal with a selection of cheeses which came with a pot of honey and a pot of a caramelized red onion-reduced in red wine and sweetened with a little sugar. The onion condiment was divine. It was best when topped on the truffle cheese. Main courses arrived later. My steak fillet was the softest beef I have ever eaten. In fact, it was truly the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection! My husband ordered the sea bass and grilled veggies. We split the veggies. For dessert my husband selected a flan-like dessert that was smooth and silky while I chose a green apple sorbet that had a French Norman brandy (Calvados) on top.
