I was able to book same day for the kids room for both of my kiddos and I have to say it was a great experience. We felt super welcomed by the staff and the owner, Felicia. The kids room is filled with toys and books for the kids to play with but honestly they are so in awe of the salt that's all they wanted to play with when we had our session. It was really cool. The kids really loved the experience and even begged to go back as soon as we were done. I do want to return and get a couples massage with my husband in the future. They even do salt during massage sessions and I heard it's lovely. We are still waiting on the benefits of the experience as both my kids are still battling their coughs but I am sure we would see a difference after a few sessions. We shall return :)

After my session I was introduced to Felicia the owner. What a gem of a human. She is not only passionate about creating a great space for her customers I noticed how kind she also was to her staff. I did not have the time to try the infrared sauna or a massage session but I'll definitely be back. Oh, and I look forward to doing a salt yoga session if I'm ever in town on a Thursday night. She gave me a quick tour of the place and informed me that, due to the salt therapy mist in the room, I should store my belongings in a locker in the room so that it didn't leave a salt residue on my things. This salt therapy runs during the massage and has many health benefits. It was very relaxing and never ended up bothering me at all. I opted for more of a relaxing, therapeutic massage and it was INCREDIBLE. Nyia spent a little more time on my back and worked out a ton of knots that I didn't even realize I had. She had a very sure hand and assertive technique. I was super happy with the massage and definitely plan on returning again soon. I saw a number of other great services that they offered that I hope to try out at some point as well. Definitely worth checking out if you've always been curious about trying them out.

Not only was the treatment completely different, but it was also mediocre. They used hot stones I never asked for, and they weren't even hot. Throughout the session, staff repeatedly exposed me by walking in and out of the room and leaving the door open. When I confronted the situation, the therapist tried to pass off the deep tissue massage as a Thai massage until I mentioned that I'm a massage therapist. Then she casually remarked, "Oh, I can just charge you for a deep tissue." To make matters worse, she refused to give me the manager's number, which forced me to call the police and file a report. Don't book here for any massage.

After we checked in we were offered a glass of wine (of your choice) which was a delightful treat and something you often don't see at a spa. Even though they're downtown, parking is nice because, thankfully, they provide validated garage parking; though the spots there are kinda small and can fill up if you go at busy times. I love that they also have multiple locations, so you can go to whichever location is most convenient. If you're looking to treat yourself to a spa day, I cannot recommend Allora enough.
