Over a year ago we had our water tank burst in the middle of the night and at a recommendation of a friend we called Total Comfort. They were able to replace the best day. But, as a result I was duped into entering their preventative maintenance plan. This of course includes a yearly AC maintenance visit. It seems every time they come they find umpteen things wrong with the units and the cost for repairs are unsurprisingly astronomical. I went through this twice already with them. I immediately called a competitor following both visits and had them give a second opinion. Sure enough, I didn't need to do a vast majority of their "recommended" repairs. They were cordial in working in masks in this trying time (and with us wearing them in our home as well to protect them). Removing the old furnace was a task in itself as it easily weighed OVER 500 lbs and had to be broken up in two pieces to get out of our basement! Get a more reputable company. This field of expertise is too expensive for the consumer to have half wits fixing things this complicated.

We are newer home owners, and this was one of our first big projects. From calling to book an appointment and getting the estimate booked quickly/within a shorter timeframe, to a very thorough appointment -we felt satisfied right away. Everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and took their time. We worked with Bobby the owner and Robal for communications, Julie the owner also gave us a call to check in. The only part of the process that took longer was the towns fault on slow permit processing, which to add, American Airflow gave us updates on timeframe during it. We also didn't have to do any of the permit work other than set up final inspections. They used a really great electrician company that we plan to use for other upcoming projects as well. Day of install came, techs were on time, professional, polite, extremely neat while working and with clean up, and took the extra time to explain the units to me as well as the (slightly tricky Mitsubishi) remote. The price and customer service hands down beat the other competitors we had estimates with and we're really happy we went with them...also relieved to no longer lug those pesky window units in next summer/anymore!

I left a message in hopes they would hear my urgency and call, but it was at 9am the next day. Needless to say, we are switching to a company that can provide service when we need it.

After they left, I went to put dishes in the dishwasher and the entire thing came out of the cabinet! They didn't even screw it in! My husband had to redo the whole thing after he got home. Then, instead of swiping my card to pay, they WRITE DOWN YOUR CC # on their invoice! The next day, there were 3 fraudulent charges on my CC card that AMEX alerted me to. Had to replace my CC. They charged me $275 for one hour of shoddy work that we had to re-do and none of it was actual plumbing work... only installing the dishwasher. No thanks.
