We had a pipe burst on us and we filed a claim. They were doing nothing to help us. I called my agent, Valerie, whom I've known for two decades and expressed my displeasure and she came over immediately and took her own pictures. She apologized profusely and said she would handle this. Within days, she had an adjuster call me to say they will be paying my claim by Friday! I called to inquire about insurance coverage and was later told that I had "consented" to policy changes that I did not authorize. When I tried to calmly explain that I was seeking information only and did not give consent, Crystal became hostile, repeatedly interrupted me, and spoke over me while insisting on her version of events. She stated that my "consent" was verbal and based on internal notes, even after I explained that I keep my own notes and did not agree to any changes. She was dismissive, refused to acknowledge my concerns, and would not escalate the issue. She repeatedly told me that there was no one else who could help me and that if I wanted to complain, I should "call or email Cindy," the owner. Throughout the call, Crystal showed a complete lack of basic customer service professionalism. The situation escalated further when she used profanity toward me, specifically telling me "fuck you." This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone in a management role. This experience left me feeling disrespected and concerned about how consent, documentation, and customer complaints are handled at this office. I would strongly caution others to document every interaction carefully.

You'll understand. My first experience with State Farm and Willie was shopping for rental insurance. I'd never had insurance for anything aside from vehicles and work benefits, so it was a little overwhelming. What coverage do I need, what does the coverage actually entail, and what's a good deal for the right kind of coverage? Well, I had no idea. I lucked out being helped by Willie, who had all the answers I needed. Not only did he have answers, but he had patience. Every detail about the policy lead to more questions, and Willie answered them all happily. I was beyond please with my initial experience, but still, as many of us do, I still wanted to shop around and see what else was out there. I thanked Willie for his time and help, and he thanked me for the opportunity and asked if he could follow up with me. Of course! I appreciated that kind of service. Well, he didn't have to follow up. Two calls to competing agencies and all they did was make State Farm and Willie look better and better. One company was a little cheaper, but the agent was no where near as knowledgeable or helpful. I'd happily pay more for better service, and that is exactly what I was getting. Willie won my business and I felt great about it. I was excited about purchasing insurance - think about that for a minute. Two years later, and State Farm has insured my home, my belongings, even my wedding! Recently I reached out to Willie by email after having not spoken in awhile. I was hoping to get a response by the next day, but instead I got one within 20 minutes. I don't "shop" for insurance any more. Could I find a cheaper policy from a company I've never heard of? It's possible. But when it comes to protecting my home and the things I care about, I don't want cheap - I want someone I can trust. For me, that's Willie and State Farm.
