No big deal and he was…read morepleasant to work with, but missed a few things that we had a contractor come back and inspect, like...holes in the gable walls showing exposed tyvek, and a master bath vent that wasn't hooked up to the outside and was just venting to the attic (potential huge mold problem!). We had to supplement our response to the seller with these findings and luckily they agreed to fix them, but I was upset the they were missed in the first place. Mike also stated that the fireplace vent was non-functioning yet when our contractor took a second look he found it was just off the track and needed to be adjusted. I felt the inspection was rushed, he didn't seem to want me shadowing him and explaining what he saw (just said "it'll be in the report"). My final complaint was how he directed all of his findings at the end to my realtor instead of me as if I wasn't in the room at all. This is the second home I've bought and second time with an inspector, and although I was miffed about the above shortcomings I will say the rest of the inspection was thorough, including the sewer scope which was a big weight off my mind. I hope that this review is constructive criticism...take your time and include the homebuyer more in the process next time Mike!

Allstate the worst! Jewell Lucas the worst! They referred body shop for claim. My radio,…read moreheadlights, etc stolen! The shop committed fraud not installing authentic parts, 3-5 day job took 2-3 months. Twice (so far) went to another body shop to fix their errors while previous body shop paid repairs and courtesy car. Jewell Lucas told me I should "be happy they provided a courtesy car better than my own car..." Every 6 months there was $100 increase to policy. Had them for 2 years that's extra $400 more a year if you do the math! Allstate fabricated "the State" raised it every 6 months. Switched insurance company paying half w/ same coverage! Advised by new company that Allstate lied about state increase, never existed. They always call for life insurance. I always decline. Once a rep put Jewell Lucas on line. He said "Hello..." then hung up abruptly when heard it was me. Didn't even ask for him. Can picture him hiding under desk when I was on phone...lol. What a joke! I wouldn't choose their insurance company if they were free!
