In today's world of reviews, business live and die by those reviews, many are truthful but many are…read morealso unjust. As a consumer I always try to be fair and open minded in evaluating those reviews and look for a pattern in them, positive or negative. Those patterns are what I make my decision on wether to purchase a product or to utilize a service. Unfortunately in this case I have to also add a negative review, very similar to what other reviewers have written about there personal experience. I have been a loyal customer of this agent for 20 years insuring all of my vehicles and boats with them and have recommend countless clients to this particular agent. As others have stated, this was a top notch agency when the previous manager Janet was running the office, so organized and offered TOP customer service. Sadly Janet retired a few years ago and since then this agency has gone from a stellar agency provided outstanding customer service to the bottom of the barrel. They are extremely disorganized, making mistakes with your account, costing you significant money, un helpful in rectifying those mistakes and worst of all deceitful as when they make a mistake, such as not canceling a policy when requested by the client, they tell you one story one day about what happened and what they are going to do to rectify the situation and then another story another day when the situation isn't rectified and they didn't follow through with what was promised. I always believe that the failures of a business starts from the top down so when I tried to bring those failures of the individual agents to Pamela Murray the owner of the agency she gets extremely defensive to the point she actually accused myself, the customer of lying about the situation, awful way of treating any customer let alone one of 20 years. I cannot say enough good things about State Farm as a company, I will continue to keep my insurance with them but I am changing agencies and I strongly suggest that you do your own homework and find an agent other then Pamela Murray.

I understand that members can opt out by February, but why, in this day and age with all the online scams that exist, are we putting a price on members financial security? That seems unfair, especially knowing that we are more than likely going to see some weird things happen with finances and prices in 2025. $10 a month is nearly as much as what most Banks charge at a basic level. The fact that current members are being forced into ProtectPlus instead being allowed to opt into it on their own accord is very weird.This is such an inappropriate time to implement something like this, especially knowing that this institution has been opened for nearly 85 years and some people have probably been clients for that long. I'm also concerned as to why this choice has not been advertised CLEARLY and UPFRONT sooner to current members. I only recently found out within the last week from a piece of mail of all things, that the ProtectPlus will be pushed onto members, and we have the option to opt out of it by February 1st. Why are we just being notified now and not like 6 months ago? There's no way this new plan was just put into fruition within the last few weeks, and there's no way that in this day in age Kinecta couldn't have sent out an automated text to all members explaining exactly what this was going to be about. Email, apps, and texts exist- so why am I receiving a letter about this? Not to mention, why is this even happening at the expense of the customer? Post update to the response: I appreciate the fast response. I'm well aware I can opt out of the checking account, I blatantly and clearly already said that in my post. This post is more about the nature and implementation of this new checking account and how it's being forced onto clients instead of giving them the option to opt into it. It is sneaky, and I'm sure a lot of clients will be taken off guard by it and not realize it's been implemented and they will be unwillingly paying fees to Kinecta that they weren't aware of. It also goes against the "no fee" services Credit Unions tend to provide compared to banks. I hope those points will be taken into consideration as Kinecta moves forward with this new Checking Account.
