Their "market value report" for our car was $ Thousands below fair market value. They did not have all the option packages listed for my car and it was missing several items that came standard with the car. They also had the wrong condition for our car listed. I sent them the build sheet from BMW showing all the items the car had. It took them four revisions and about six weeks before they finally had it correct. Then they told us they were deducting a a months storage fee ~$2K from the settlement because we hadn't accepted their offer within the two day timeframe. Two weeks later we still haven't been paid, they sent us an email saying they were also deducting the body shop's cost to breakdown the car to do a proper estimate. They say they never authorized it. (well, then how did they expect to know it was totaled?). I caution everyone to think twice before getting State Farm Insurance! I truly believe we were scammed from the start.
