This time a motorist hit me without any insurance, and GEICO covered the bill. Last time I had a car that I had not registered yet, but I was driving it and GEICO insured that when a lady pulled out in front of me. This was after her insurance company was not claiming full responsibility. GEICO paid me, and then went after them. The gentleman who came out to do an estimate on my car was very professional. I've dealt with GEICO professionals, a handful of times over the years and each time I always get friendly and helpful and professional service. ~Howard Helm

I have been a GEICO customer for almost 15 years and I have NEVER experienced anything this disgusting and unacceptable. My car was hit with vandalism and a collision that was NOT my fault. It's been OVER TWO MONTHS and GEICO still hasn't taken care of it. Their AI "system" spat out a ridiculous, low-ball estimate that doesn't even come close to what any reputable body shop says it will actually cost to repair. I can't even open my driver-side window, there are huge scratches all over the car from the vandalism, and the sunroof deflector is completely broken. I've been driving around like this for TWO MONTHS while paying full premiums every single month. What the hell am I even paying insurance for?! I've called, emailed, and begged for help. No callback adjusters. No appointments ever get made. Every time I reach out I get the same runaround: "We'll have an adjuster call you back" or "Reach out to your adjuster." Guess what? No one ever does. Specifically, Richard never makes appointments, doesn't return emails, completely ignores every attempt to reach him, and gaslights you when you finally get someone on the phone. It's the same nightmare for local autobody shops--they're sitting on a backlog of over 40 GEICO vehicles, including mine, and they can't get anyone at GEICO to return a single phone call either. Even Supervisor Kalvin has not returned correspondence to either me or the body shop--not just for my vehicle, but for others too. Unbelievable. I've escalated this multiple times. Zero results. Supervisors? Total joke. They just repeat the same script and disappear. GEICO used to be reliable. Now it feels like they're deliberately making it impossible for customers to get their cars fixed so they can keep our money. Someone at the top needs to wake up--this is not how you run an insurance company. You're going to lose customers left and right, and frankly, you deserve to. This level of incompetence is so bad it should trigger a class-action lawsuit. I will never recommend GEICO to anyone again and I'm actively looking to switch carriers the second this nightmare is finally resolved (if it ever is). Stay away from GEICO if you value your time, your car, or your sanity. Why am I even waiting this long to get a car repaired when the body shop has been standing by ready to repair it and they're out here dishing AI estimate for $13 to fix a damaged window for the result of vandalism and theft as well as scratch vehicle and now in the interim my vehicle has been hit by someone in the parking space and the bumper is cracked. I haven't even put in the claim for that because I can't even get something simple like this done.

I say this because like me, if you thought Geico still had their doors open, you have thought wrong and would stumble upon Homers insurance instead. So this review is for HOMER INSURANCE. Taylor is a really honest and kind insurance agent. Long story short, my boyfriend and I wanted to conduct business at Geico but in person. We however, stumbled upon this business after having found out Geico closed all their doors in CA. First impressions of the business, very professional and presentable and for the front desk, she was very friendly and welcoming. Since first Impressions were good and we were already there, we decided to get a free quote. We were introduced to Taylor to guide us on our new auto insurance. I'm glad he was the one able to help us. Throughout the entire process, Taylor was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, very helpful, friendly, and very professional. All the questions/comments we threw at him, he was able to have an answer while also giving us great recommendations. If you're searching for insurance for auto, home, plane, etc. come to this business! They are very honest people! I'm very pleased with the whole experience and wanted to say thank you Taylor and homers insurance for taking great care of us. My boyfriend and I can expect nothing but kind, honest, and helpful representatives at homers insurance and know that we can depend on them with our auto insurance needs!

Refuse to honor estimates for damages. Dont return phone or messages. Very deceitful and unprofessional. Geico customer for 27 years. No longer. They are really despicable.
