Tuesday I called, the tone as to how she answered the phone made me cringe. I let her know I spoke to her Friday about a cruise and I sent emails? Jayne responded yes, I saw you emailed me a few times, have to had time to read them. Her tone was very unprofessional. To the point I asked her if she was, ok? I was told they were having issues with a Co Worker and was trying to figure out where all those clients were going. I had more questions and I was made aware to set up an appt to go over the rest. So I did. I felt like I was drawing straws to even have her talk to me. To the point I said, so do I need to call you for the appt, or will you call me? She said for me to call her at 10:30 am and if she didn't answer she would call me back. So, at the end of all this, again first-time cruse, long time member. It was a pleasure meeting and having Maria do my taxes. She was so professional, friendly, and efficient. I was there for approximately a half hour, and everything went smoothly. So happy to have them completed. I will definitely be going there every year from now on. I highly recommend them.

Also on my address; they NEVER PUT MY HOUSE NUMBER AT SLL. There is a HAND-WRITTEN HOUSE NUMBER ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE ENVELOPE FOR THE OVER- PAYMENT REFUND!!!! It is clear as day on my over-payment envelope that there is NO HOUSE NUMBER!!! For $200 they didn't even get my address RIGHT!! I am extremely disgusted! To say the least! I just called and they are closed for Monday July 5th! I will be calling again tomorrow! And, this must be corrected. As far as I am concerned; this is there responsibility to fix and make sure I receive my 2020 tax return!

Mahoney building to file for their pension, I can tell you that there is nothing intimidating about this process. Including parking. I think it's important to note this for the older crowd, namely the older suburban crowd, who are scared of everything. Reluctantly, I assisted my mother in coming here this afternoon. She made an appointment last week and was begging me to be her driver since she "doesn't like driving downtown" and didn't know where she would park. Sighhhhhh... There are 2 parking lots kiddy corner to the building (on Pearl and Court). They each had several vacant spots and cost $5 to park in for about an hour. Money well spent if you're nervous and intimidated by scary "city culture"... Sighhhhhh... We parked and walked to the building. Walked in the front doors, signed in and got visitors stickers from the stoic security guards who were definitely typical government employees, probably with a countdown in their heads as to how many more days they have until they get to file for retirement. We were directed up to the 5th floor, followed signs to the retirement office and again signed in there. We were greeted by a really nice and helpful woman. The representative helping my mom was super nice too. Maybe this shouldn't have surprised me but I thought these people would be on par with DMV employees, and well, we all know how sunshine and lollipops they tend to be... Just like those security guards... Sighhhhhh... The whole process took about 20 minutes. The paper work was filed, and shortly we were back walking to the car. Nothing scary, intimidating, or even inconvenient about this process. There are friendly people here. There were tons of worker bees bustling along outside at the lunch hour. You will not be forced to walk through a dark alley, be accosted for money, or solicited for drugs or sex, despite what may scare you about coming down this way during business hours. You can do it!! And I can pretty much guarantee you'll get out alive. Sighhhhhhhhhh...
