Well I've never had the luxury of opening my own insurance account. Today, I was fortunately blessed with someone who I'm familiar with, to help us out. Sabrina Cruser could not have done a better job. Not only is our pricing extremely acceptable, but she came through with the incredible benefits. Our full coverage plan could not be better, with road side assistance added, as well as a rental car covered by Allstate in case of a wreck that totals our car, I couldn't feel safer. Sabrina herself is just a delight, between her customer service and all around easy going attitude, not once did I feel uncomfortable during my process of being insured. I'm happy with my experience today, and so is my wife. Not only are we happy, but ourselves as well as everyone else on the road that we come in contact with (hopefully not physical contact) is going to be much safer. Taken care of. And done right. Thank you Sabrina, and thanks Allstate for allowing her to give us such an amazing benefit to our life on the road. My family has been with Robert Varnich for over 30 years. When I was 16 years old he taught me how insurance works and what I could do to prevent my policy from going up. I chose to continue to work with him even now that I have a family of my own because they are always helpful and caring. Robert Varich is both incompetent and a liar. In my first interaction with him, he bad-mouthed my 90+ year old grandmother over the phone to me while claiming that she owed him $1000+. At the end of the day, he in fact owed her money and had to pay up. This demonstrated his poor character and incompetent accounting. A few months later, he charged an unexpected, unsubstantiated lump sum of $620 to my credit card. My bill had been paid by credit card automatically each month, via an automated payment method which Robert Varich himself had set up, and so I reached out in attempts understand the charge. I called his office and left messages for him, but Robert never called me back. He did eventually reply, curtly, to my email, in which he did not answer my sole question, but rather attached a 20+ page document saying my answer was contained somewhere there within. I called again several times and left several messages asking him to provide an account of the goods or services he believed he provided me for the price of $620. He never responded, so I switched to GEICO. GEICO then advised me to contact my credit card company to cancel the unsubstantiated charge from Robert, and so I did. 3 months later, I received a notice from a COLLECTIONS AGENCY. I immediately reached out to Robert. When I pressed him for a reckoning of why he was charging me $620, he stopped replying - without rescinding the collections claim. Upon pressing him further, he then claimed he'd made a mistake and said that I now owed him only $300+, STILL WITHOUT ANY SUBSTANTIATION. I told him I owed him nothing, and that furthermore, I could substantiate MY claim by means of my credit card statements, which reflect a timely payment, in full, each and every month. He then replied to my email saying that he'd just called me and left me a message. My phone went off right next to me when the email came through, and there had been no call and no voice message from him, demonstrating Robert Varich to be a LIAR. And now I've just received another collections letter to the tune of $300+. ROBERT VARICH IS A CROOK AND A LIAR, and his poor accounting skills are demonstrative of his INCOMPETENCE. There are many options when choosing insurance, so I strongly suggest choosing someone else. read more

This agency was not helpful at all. They gave me 24 hours notice of non renewal of insurance, and then assured me they would obtain a liability policy for my hard to insure property. They send an application, which I signed and sent back, and then nothing. No returning of phone calls, no communication, nothing. For 2 weeks I tried to get them to respond, all the while being non insured. Finally I got the message, they didnt want to help me and didnt want my business, despite having insured the property for years. I would not work with them again at all. read more

Is this a real insurance agency? The worst customer service I have ever encountered. First of all talking to Angela about anything that has to do with policy answers if futile. She really doesn't know what is going on and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. She made a $100.00 mistake on a policy, sent a letter (that she signed backing that statement up) and then said she didn't send it. Then we called back to straighten that out and whoever answered the phone this time hung up on us. Cancelled the policy sending an email (as they instructed us to do) had to ask for confirmation they received the email (even that took a week). And the refund.... Angela said it was in the bank, but couldn't tell us how much it was... we checked the bank before calling and guess what...no deposite. Then she said she had no control over when or how the money would be deposited. She kept apologizing, don't lie to the customer!!! And you won't have to apologize!! Seriously, who are these people. How is this agency still in business. Don't make the same mistake we made. You won't ever know if you have insurance, how much it really cost, or when it goes into effect! Customer service? They should all take a refresher course in how to read insurance policies and customer service!!! BBB is next...they should take a look at this agency. mmm read more

Agree with the person asking if he actually exists. Emails are never responded to. I have switched agents out of frustration.

We were with the agency for over 20 years. Last year, we had a small accident that scrapped up one of our car's doors. Very minor, no ticket, no injuries, no claim by the other vehicle. When we got our renewal, Allstate had assessed a claim "surcharge". Our rates had MORE THAN DOUBLED!!! We called multiple other companies who all quoted us lower rates (even with the accident). When we challenged Robert Varich about it, he made up a story about companies raising rates later for old claims. Total nonsense. He wouldn't budge. We took our business elsewhere, canceling both our auto and home owner's. Don't give them your $$$! read more

Had been with the agency for 15 years for a Homeowners insurance without a single claim ever. End of last year, I received a letter about a roof issue they had identified and notifying us that our policy will be terminated if we were not fixing this issue. I called and emailed to explain that there was no leak or hazard linked with the roof patching as far as I knew. Here is the response I received: The patch does not seem adequate to prevent future loss, dry rot, wind damage etc. We use outside inspectors who service various insurance companies. They follow the State guidelines in regard to inspections. I usually suggest you have a licensed roofing contractor evaluate how best to solve the problem. We would need a paid receipt for work completed or a photo of the same corrected area to clear this concern. So we went ahead and replaced the roof but the work got delayed because of heavy rain in December / January. Work was completely only 15 days after the deadline they gave us, but sure enough our policy got terminated as announced. I guess there is technically nothing wrong about that. I am sure they followed a procedure that is probably standard. What got to me was the coldness I experienced during the process. Not a single "we are sorry to lose your business" or "can we help you in any way", nothing. They actually behaved as they truly couldn't care less about our business. They accepted to reinstate the policy when I submitted proof of repair but I have now permanently terminated our policy as I found a better deal elsewhere (that I would never asked for if the whole thing didn't happen). I think the major learning is: your loyalty means nothing to this agency. read more

Allstate just dumped me. Really? Customer for 15 years. No claims. No late pays. No notice. Agent Robert Varich did not return my calls - essentially just left me hanging. 15 years?? Just cancel. I have been told via my new insurance that Allstate is getting out of home insurance. As consumers you have a choice. DO NOT CHOOSE ALLSTATE!!! read more

Worst agent for allstate auto insurance. Had a very bad experience working with auto agent representatives. They get your business initially with competitive rates with all driving records disclosed at the time of getting the policy and when it comes to renewal of policy they pull out existing records on your policy which were disclosed and present from the beginning, but they use them to bump your insurance premium during renewal. Agents don't call back nor reply to email. Never go for auto insurance policy via them. read more

Insurance is never fun, however the team at the Varich agency has at least had the ability to explain why something was the way that it was. I've had a couple of claims and the company (and agency) did exactly what was in the contract...what else do you want from an insurance company? read more

In my experience with this agency everything has been handled promptly, and with a smile. Admittedly I've only been a customer for two years, and have not yet needed to submit a claim. It seems to mostly be when bad things happen that Yelp reviews get left. While nothing is perfect all the time the good experiences must be accounted for as well! read more

Worst agency for Allstate insurance. We paid this agency our insurance premiums on time for over 16 years, with no claims. We obtained insurance at a lower rate from a different insurer. According to Allstate, their policy is canceled on the date the last payment covered. But not this Allstate agency. We discontinued payment and also informed Allstate of our canceling the policy. They replied that they would not cancel the policy until we provided them with our new policy information-Allstate's "policy guidelines". We told them we would not give them our personal information. They continued to bill us for coverage that we did not want, and sent their bill to their East Coast collection agency. We paid all of our premiums on time for decades, and don't owe them anything. But they wouldn't correct our balance to zero. Apparently Allstate's policy is to bully the customer and try to squeeze out personal information and more money. We tried numerous times to get them to correct our balance to no avail. We then complained to the BBB but they still refused to correct our account. We absolutely will not pay what we do not owe. We are pursuing this complaint with the government agencies, and with Allstate. We will update this review with forthcoming information. read more
