Searching on DMV and found out once you fill out the form online you can take them to DMV or AAA.. Walked in and was able to surrender plates.. Nice and friendly office!

I called a few days later to add my older, used Camry to my policy- Raylene of Allstate mentioned it would start the same date as my new car. I printed out the insurance cards they had sent me, with both vehicles listed on them, and canceled my previous insurance based off the dates they listed on my cards. Turns out, the registration on my Camry was suspended because Allstate told them my insurance didn't start until 9 days AFTER the date listed on my insurance cards. I checked all my documents from Allstate- 3 different dates were displayed across all document. As misleading as this was, Allstate REFUSED to fix their mistake, meanwhile, the DMV charged me fines for lapse in insurance. I spent 5-6 weeks on the phone with Allstate, asking them to fix this mistake and they absolutely would not budge. Raylene reported to me in one conversation that this just happened to another customer and that it took a long time to fix (which is no help), while Juan took on a belittling tone to gladly remind me that this was indeed my fault and that they are not responsible for fixing it... every time I spoke to him. He even took on the pleasure of shouting at me during our last conversation and that was when I told him that I am done. So, I called to speak to a manager of the Toyota Dealership. I spoke with Stevie and he helped escalate this all the way to the top. Toyota Dealership ended up paying my fines. Definitely buy a car from this dealership, they are absolutely wonderful. And no I matter what you do, STAY AWAY from Allstate. It's unfortunate such a wonderful dealership has such an insulting and embarrassing insurance company in their home- it's a very good way to lose customers.

I have used them for just over a year for both my auto insurance and renter's policies. Stacy R. Kennedy, CISR, is my agent, and she has always been so pleasant and professional when I have dealt with her. The office is located on the second floor of 10345 Professional Circle, which is to the left of the Renown building. Parking was easy,although the lanes were a little tight. They have restrooms on each floor. And from the second floor there is a huge glass window in the front with a spectacular view of the parking lot and mountains. I didn't expect my agent to be in or available, but I thought I would stop by since I was in the area, and their Yelp page had no pics, which made me feel sad. As it turned out, Ashleigh Foster, another agent, was there, and was happy to help me! I signed in first, then waited. She offered me water while she went back to check my policy. She came out and told me for a small windshield claim, it might be better to pay myself. Since it was comprehensive, I would not be surcharged by them for it, but if I decided to shop around and change companies in the future, I would have to disclose I filed a claim. But she also said if it was a larger amount, go ahead and file the claim. I also asked if I had to get an estimate first. Like with collision, they send you to Caliber Collision, which works with Liberty Mutual to give an estimate. They go by that amount for the claim, but you are free to choose your own body shop. So I wondered if it worked the same way with auto glass. Ashleigh said no and that I could go wherever. She recommended I go to Reno Sparks Auto Glass in Sparks to handle it, since she said they provide excellent service, are local, cost less, and even have done her own car, a Subaru. I said I called the national number the day before, and they told me Safelite AutoGlass was Liberty Mutual's preferred partner. But Ashleigh said the national corporation recommends them, but the local agents here know better, due to the reasons mentioned above I also asked her some questions about recalibration of my safety equipment, since when you have your windshield replaced, any safety camera or sonar that is built in need to be checked. My car has a camera between the review mirror and windshield, which monitors the lane lines as part of the lane assist feature in the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) package. She was unaware of that, and at first thought I was talking about a dashcam, but she told me to ask the window company. They have a nice customer waiting room, with three chairs and a bowl of candy by their window. Strangely, they have a secure window between the customer and desk person, like some banks do. I think it is kind of strange for an insurance agency, since they do not handle money, but maybe they just inherited that when they took over the office.

When Nancy retired and Ryan (Nancy's Grandson) took over the business, State Farm sent me to a different agent in South Reno. Not sure why that happened, but it was not a good match both for convenience and for quality of service. I called Ryan's office and as always they were fantastically helpful in guiding me through the process to switch back to them. Being back with this office felt like coming home. This is a very small, family owned office. They are accessible, friendly, helpful, professional, and just all around great at what they do. They have many clients from my building so Ryan is very knowledgeable about our HOA and the building in general. This office is walking distance from my home and while convenience is one positive factor, I would be willing to drive to continue to have my insurance managed by Ryan. When you enter, you are treated very warmly by one of the team or even Nancy herself and made to feel that you have been invited into their home. Within fifteen minutes, I felt like we were friends. Every other time I have been in the office I am welcomed warmly and always feel that they have the time to answer any questions and help with any insurance need I may have. Carri, Ryan, and Megan are knowledgable and professional and no matter who you deal with, they are there to help you, not to try to sell you something you may not want.
