Seriously the best gas station I've ever been too. Whistle clean restrooms. Love the concept, yea they have fuel, but the store has upscale snacks and drinks plus a deli cranking out fresh made breakfast and lunch items. I went with a BLAT - bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, add: egg. The egg was fresh scrambled not that egg beater garbage. The bread was to die for!!! I understand it's a chain that's expanding slowly across the New England area. Look for one near you and check out the coolest gas station you'll ever see. read more

I came across this place today. What a brilliant idea! A healthy convenience store. Its way more than that. I ordered 10 smoothies for one of my dental offices and they were a huge hit! My 1st time here and John the employee that made my drinks and I started chatting. He told me all about the food and how they were still catering. Also, offered to help me carry my drinks to the car... many years of being a server I didnt need it but it was a great offer. He also offered me a cup of their soup of the day... loaded baked potatoe. It was great! Literally chopped fresh cooked bacon to top it off. I will definitely consider this place when I am looking for another place to bring goodies for work. Also, great for people with allergies! Most of the items are GF, Vegan or Vegetarian! I've been coming to this place since they first opened, since I live very close. Lately, I've been coming daily or every other day to get a bag of ice since that's a necessity in my household haha. Me and the employees are mostly on first name basis. Bathrooms are always looking and smelling clean! The food is awesome, and the kitchen staff is friendly & hard workers. They welcome you if you need to charge your laptop inside, or sit out on their patio set up. Wifi runs fast, which has saved me on some late night assignments! Gas is good, and prices fluctuate all the time. Grateful because they coordinate with the cash back apps on my phone so I can money back in my wallet! . All in all, I'm so blessed to have a 10 in 1 place in my back yard, literally! read more

This place has really taken a dive. Consistently their coffee bar is trashed. No one makes an effort to clean it up, the cream is never restocked, they haven't had large cups in a month. Looks like no one gives a shit anymore. For what it costs. If you need coffee stop at Duncan or McDonalds instead until the see it fit to fix their problems. read more

I was only on a local business trip and wanted quick lunch one day and I knew they had fast food options and I drove by the store and said wow that looks interesting but didn't stop. I did my research online and the next morning I decided to give it a try! The place is an ultra-modern, sleek, and clean convenience store with a take out deli/cooking area in the back. From the very friendly attendant (she was a one woman show). I ordered a breakfast burrito and a large cup of coffee. This was quite reasonable in price $8 (Lunch at Chipotle is usually $11 and up). Well the burrito was AMAZING!!! Lots of fresh veggies, spices, and just yummy goodness. I ate every bite. The coffee is from a machine that grinds and makes your coffee. This was excellent as well. I'm rarely in Ayer but if I happen to go that way I'll be sure to stop there and try out some lunch options. read more

They just opened recently and were great at first. They used to use large sized highly textured dark bread on all their sandwiches. Today I couldn't find one sandwich that wasn't on white, cottony tasting much smaller sized bread. I defy you to find one that doesn't fall apart in your hands from the watery tomatoe and lettuce they use. The Starbucks frappucino is now $4.29 a bottle. You can get a much larger 40 oz. bottle for less than two of their smaller sized bottles only a few miles away. Seems they've already succumbed to the "we make more profit when you get less for your money" mantra. You'll do much better to try another takeout place in Harvard. All in all - smaller sized sandwiches, disappointing quality, overpriced drinks. I won't be coming here anymore. read more

We were coming back from a Paul McCartney concert in Boston. Unfortunately everything else was closed and this was our only option. We unfortunately drove through there for one of the 24-hours a day that they are open that they weren't open..... There was a letter on the door that said 'sorry closed will be open at 12:11' or some really vague random time. Well they didn't open at 12:11 or 12:15 or 12:20 and by 12:22 after waiting a half an hour to get a snack and use the bathroom we needed to knock on the window to get the one person in side to open. Despite all the seemingly health snacks the sandwiches and pastries looked like they had been sitting for hours and we ended up with the good old gas station regulars soda, red bull, chips and candy. If you dont make your good food accessible, then you might as well just be a convenience store and a gas station. And don't close if you are going to advertise as being 24/7 for gods sake. Because people that NEED you to be open are going to come on those hours when you are the only thing open. read more

I wanted this to be my "go to" gas station. Lots of pumps, lots of space, food and convenience. I've been going to this particular station for a few months. Recently I noticed the LED price signs had different prices for the pumps. Some pumps were 10 cents more than other pumps. I pointed this out and the day manager stated the signs needed to be reset. One week later I noticed the same issue with the displays. I asked the day manager if there were different prices for credit and cash because it was not clear, most stations have 2 different prices clearly displayed for credit/cash. The day manager quickly became agitated and took offense. He took an attitude towards me and scolded something to the effect of, "You're getting the discounted price." Not an answer to the question. I didn't escalate because I didn't want to make a scene. The cashier uncomfortably raised her eyebrows. Too bad, anger management classes for him maybe. Won't be back. read more

This place is amazing! They've got fresh food and anything else you'd get from a GoToMeeting or liquor store. They carry ver hard to find brands at very competitive prices. They've also got a deli that makes amazing food and smoothies. Cannot recommend more. read more

I ordered the portobello wrap and the refresh smoothie. Both were healthy and delicious. The smoothie was just fruit and coconut water so not too sweet. The wrap was really good too although a little salty for my taste. I also appreciated the reasonable prices. read more

Let me tell you the tale of Alltown...back when life was simple and the greatest pleasures came from knowing that you had the freedom to make a choice between rabbit roast and sizzle snake pie. My grandpappy Moolag often told me that Alltown would come someday, but I never believed the senile old devil. Guess he was smarter than I took him for, that crusty gray parsnip. When I heard Alltown was making its way to Harvard, I knew my life would remain forever changed. The coffee is good but the food offerings are extraordinarily underwhelming, particularly considering the high prices. Recently got the chili chicken bowl and discovered I paid $13 for a bowl of quinoa. A few sprinkles of carrots, cabbage, broccoli, and onions sliced wafer thin next to maybe an ounce of chicken slices. Allegedly there's some special chili lime hot honey sauce in here but I suspect they merely showed opened the bottle in the vicinity of the concoction and hoped an essence of flavor would diffuse over. I wound up have to add ranch and hot sauce to the mixture to get any sense of flavor out of the pile of meh I was sold. 100% flavorless. 0/10. Would not buy again, and might even stop someone else from ordering it if I happened to be in there at the same time. read more

We were in the area for an errand and needed gas. The store attached to the gas station was not what I expected. It felt like a Whole Foods! They had a kitchen where you could order café drinks and delicious-sounding food combos. They even had kombucha on tap along with various local products like cheeses and breads. The last time I saw this much variety in health-conscious foods was literally at my local Whole Foods or GNC. I love this place - if we lived closer to it (we're an hour away), I'd be a frequent customer. read more

This was a great addition to the neighborhood when it opened, and well executed. And still like the concept and the market. But the fuel stations are a neglected disappointment. No paper towels in dispensers. No windshield cleaner. No receipt paper in the fuel pumps. Fuel pump filters not serviced (especially diesel) so pumps are VERY slow. Great when new, but now --- really?!? Maybe blame it on Covid, but how about a little maintenance? read more

Used to love their sandwiches when the first opened up. Now, the same sandwich is different each time I order it. I loved the addition of avocado on their B.L.A.T but it was so sour once that I couldn't eat the sandwich since the sour taste soaked into the bread. Another time the avocado was so hard and crunchy, way under ripe, I had to take it off. Today the avocado is brownish and has a weird smell/taste. For $10 I expect a decent sandwich... This isn't it. Went in to get gass around 8pm tonight. The employee at the cash register was obviously upset that he had to be there(understandable during the Corona Virus quarantine). He took that out on everyone in the store. He was generally disrespectful and made rude comments to myself and all 4 people that were in line ahead of me(adults all quiet, 8 feet apart, and keeping to themselves).
