Although it is more expensive than you will find at your local market basket at least I can actually use 100% of the items, they aren't half wilted and rotten like the junk you get in a "regular" grocery store. Additionally find wonderful local and artisan cheeses, meats and baked goods- even seasonal candy and items. The floral and garden shop?? Just wow! So worth the trip and a little extra cost for high quality. A high quality small shop.

They have so so so much more selection than some store that charge twice as much and have windy puny little-malnourished excuses for veggies in the dead of winter. Not only is the produce vast, but the selection of fresh spices absolutely rivals wegmans in both quantity and quality. Overall, you will find most brands, sizes and a bunch of other items for dry goods, condiments, tapas, deli and cheeses and canned goods. Meat is OK.. be very selective with beef and if you can avoid the ground beef. Its got no taste and yeah I have munched on some by-product in there I'm sure. Chicken is good - get the anti biotic free ones if you can, its honestly still quite affordable by comparison. Same can be said of the deli- its worth spending the extra $$ on better cold cuts. Good Exvuse to find the best butcher shop in the area! Large frozen sections and many make at home meals in a box. Tons of refrigerated juices and pre-cut veggies too. Each time I visit, I find something new and exciting to try at home. Staff is actually wonderful here. Good kids, not jerks. I wish they had a little more variety on ice cream but honestly its SO OS MUCH cheaper than anywhere else... ok obviously if you've gathered nothing else from this review, its that MB is Cheap. while not sacrificing quality. That said, I recommend shopping close to their closing time during the week and avoiding on the weekend. No matter what time of day on Saturday or Sunday it always seems to be packed and coordinating carriages is NO FUN. Hey MB corporation - Build more of them!

And I'm not sure if this was meant to be a thin-crust or a deep-dish pizza because it was both: thin in the middle half and three times thicker in parts of the outer half. Obviously whoever prepared this has no clue to how to do it properly. The ONLY good thing I can say about this mess is the dough itself was fresh and had a good texture. It wasn't just one. We were a group of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Everybody agreed they were bad. They should be ashamed to serve these. Didn't anybody notice leaving the kitchen they were unservable? So I would never consider here for take-out. But we were here for trivia night so maybe I'd try again to have something to eat while playing? But next time if they come out like that I'd be refusing delivery and demanding a new one - that's for sure. As far as the trivia, I might not return for that either. The room was very loud from the crowd, and the announcer's microphone never did work properly so it was very hard to hear. And, knowing how many good wines and beers they sell in the general store on the first floor, it is painful to have a choice of just 5 very generic wines upstairs. Why can't they offer all the wines from downstairs, with a reasonable mark-up for restaurant purchase of course?

It rivals that of farmer's markets which makes the name stand out. Stop 'N' Shop in Hadley is labeled as Moderate yet their prices are a lot higher than Hannaford's. The deli has a very, very nice selection of lunchmeat, cheese, and prepared meals. I don't know what that the guy that said the produce "STINKS" is talking about. Rating: 4/5 The seafood section has a decent selection, but I'll admit it could have a bit more to offer.
