Dr. Surjit Chahal and Dr. Gita Chahal are incredibly talented, highly professional, and do their absolute best to deliver the utmost care to their patients. I've been going to them for about 4-5 years now and each time they have spent time with me to ensure I was doing well. My braces were done by them and each time I had an issue like a broken bracket or a wire adjustment, they did their absolute best to make sure everything was fixed and my care was excellent. Just recently I had a night guard made and Dr. Gita took time to explain the whole process to me as well as expedite the manufacturing of it. SCAMMED ME !!!!! PLEASE READ !!!!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT TO PAY UNTIL THE WORK IS DONE. I SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR THREE CROWNS AND WHEN I WENT INTO THE ROOM TO DO IT THEY REFUSED AFTER I JUST SIGNED AND AGREED TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE. THEY SAID IT WOULD LOOK FUNNY IF I DIDNT GET ALL 4 they wanted me to get. Long story short I got two root canals for the price of 3 crowns. I tried telling them but they said the work amounted to the same price???? (That's impossible) I AM STUCK PAYING WHEN I DIDNT EVEN GET THE CROWNS IM STILL PAYING FOR. after spending all day there from 10 am - 4pm because the dentist had to pick up her rental car in the middle of my appointment the anesthesia wore off and when she came back she continued to work on my teeth. I kept complaining about pain and finally after the assistant mentioned I was complaining a lot she gave me fresh anesthesia!!! This place is unacceptable save money and go anywhere else !!!! They also charged me $200 for missed appointments I never missed or scheduled. I make sure not to ever miss appointments I write them down so I know they are SCAMMING!!! Ask for your receipts and check your charges!!!! Including the appointments they gave me for check ups and I never ended up seeing the dentist nor did they ever check my teeth. I came here after googling dentist in Modesto. It's pretty difficult finding a decent dentist. The office was clean and in a convenient location. I was able to get in rather quickly. The dental assistant was also very nice and attentive as well. The x-ray was fast and easy to do. The dentist was extremely nice and made sure I wasn't in any pain and offered me meds. He also sent out a referral rather quickly for oral surgery. The front desk girls could be nicer. I called the office one day and one of the receptionist had such an attitude that I refuse to ever go back. If you're having a bad day go take a walk and don't be rude to paying customers/patients. If the office had nicer front desk people I might return. read more

I'm writing this on behalf of mom. She had her first checkup with Dr. Geeta last week. She was very nice and easy to talk to however her work was not good at all. She did a "cleaning" but didn't really clean. She has plaque buildup and Dr. Geeta said she needs to come back for a deep clean. My mom went to another dentist for a second opinion, who then cleaned her teeth properly and even took out the plaque without a deep clean. We are very disappointed and will not be going back or referring this place to anyone. read more

Poor communication! I have two dental insurances, and they keep trying to bill the wrong insurance. Whenever I called, they say they will call back which they never do. I received another bill today and conveniently the office manager is out again. They continue to call me to make an appointment to receive services. Why would I want to receive services here when they can't even figure out how to bill properly for my original check up which is covered. I am beyond irritated with this whole situation. This should've been handled along time ago. This is just pure laziness and bad communication. read more

I had braces with them for 3-4 years and they didn't even put the effort to make my teeth fully straight. Now I am dealing with major shifting on my top jaw. AWFUL. I am an amazing patient and ALWAYS pay my bills on time. Never had an issue anywhere and this Office decides to turn me into Collections without communicating with me prior. I had started receiving calls which seemed like a scam. They demanded I pay over $500 over phone immediately and they were from collections. They had a former address of mine so I was not comfortable with it. I refused and was threatened over phone. I called Allure Dental to explain what happened and was told I OWED NOTHING. I said I have no problem paying you right now if I owe something, was reassured I owed NOTHING and to ignore what must be a scam. The info I gave them was not even collection agency they use. Now - over a year later my credit score has dropped 30+ points because apparently I did owe. I called to speak with Manager who of course admits no wrong on their end and refuses to help me at all with situation. AWFUL. DO NOT RECOMMEND this office at all! I am so angry and dissatisfied with this Office and as a person who pays ALL bills on time this is ridiculous how this was handled. They could have communicated with me or offered to help with my credit after this mess. read more

I would give 5 stars because all the previous times I've been there the dentist and Maria at the front desk have been angels! But I had my first encounter with Tina today and she was completely rude. I had an appointment at 5 and she didn't greet me, and told me that it was going to take a while because they didn't have rooms. I mentioned how it was supposed to be a quick process and the dentist kept insisting he could get me in but she kept saying there were no rooms available. Clearly she shouldn't be working in the front of the office. I asked to reschedule and she offered me an appointment for the following week but the dentist pointed out a sooner one. Lazy or bitter? Allure Dental was so welcoming and they were so nice about me bringing my 1 year old daughter when I came in for my cleaning! They always ask about her when I come in and have always been very accommodating about scheduling my appointments around when I would have child care. The office is very new and everything is very clean (i.e. complimentary waters, bathroom is spotless, etc.) You can watch Netflix while they clean your teeth or do fillings, there's even a TV mounted on the ceiling. They also provide sunglasses if your eyes are sensitive to the lamps the dentist uses when doing the exam! Very professional but also very personable. I would highly recommend. read more

Iggy who sits at the front desk is always so accommodating when it comes to appointments and billing definitely knows her job. The only reason they are even getting the 1 star is because the first lady i talked to was very nice and courteous, second lady i talked to after i got my insurance info was very RUDE!!!
