I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rosing!!!! Not only is his bedside manner caring and thoughtful, but he is meticulous and has a great amount of integrity that you cannot find in many doctors these days. In August 2018, my fiance had a suspicious mole removed from his head but instead of the dermatologist closing it up or referring him to someone who could close the hole, she sent him home. She said he would most likely have a scar, even a divot but that he should consider it a badge of honor. (Basically, be thankful that you don't have cancer and a suspicious mole is now gone!) I have to say that had Dr Rosing not squeezed us in the very next day, he would have had a very high chance of getting an infection. So we went to Dr. Rosing who was confident he could close the hole in a way that there would be minimal scarring and more importantly, the hair could grow over the scar so you wouldn't see it. He called it the "O" to "Z" procedure. Not only did he get us in the day after surgery, he stayed after business hours to get the procedure done. All I can say is these pictures speak a thousand words!! We are so happy with the results provided by Dr. Rosing and his staff!! You would never know that my fiance had anything done to his head! I don't normally take the time to write a review unless the service is really bad or really good. In this case REALLY GOOD. Dr Ann Marie Neill and Dr. James H. Rosing have a wonderful joint practice. Every person I encountered was terrific from the initial call through Mohs, reconstructive plastic surgery and beyond. In their own office and at the the surgical center in the same building, reception, nurses and assistants were all very nice. I was new to Dr. McNeill, referred by another doctor for Mohs surgery on a small spot on my nose. I've had Mohs before and it's no fun, but some places know how to take the sting out of it. This is one of those places. I trusted them right from the start and they made me feel very comfortable. The staff and Dr. talked me through every step... would of held my hand if I asked. Ha! Very nice people. Having been through this before, I know that if needed, it was great to have a skilled plastic surgeon at the ready. Unfortunately, this was one of the times it was needed. Dr. Rosing was right there. Dr. Rosing also made me feel immediately at ease. I knew he would close the gaping hole near the tip of my nose (To be blunt - and it was scary). We agreed it would be best to use general anesthesia for this procedure. It was late in the day so we scheduled for surgery for the next morning. For some unknown reason, I made the bad decision to eat a small piece of toast in the morning and of course when I got to surgery and admitted such, I was told "No drugs for you." So he could use only local anesthesia when I would have preferred to be far away in a happy-place. He did such a skillful job and was so attentive, that even though I can be a "big baby" when it comes to pain or even the sight of surgery, he got me through it with ease. I'm only one day into recovery and it already looks better that I expected. Thank You Dr. Rosing!! Nice work by all involved. I was happy with my previous doctor, but Dr. McMeill is my new Dermatologist. One last thing... USE SUNSCREEN!!! read more

I was referred to Dr. Rosing by two different Newport Beach doctors for a lipoma removal. I was surprised by the amount of time he spent with me explaining the procedure. Both he and his staff (Leah and Morgan) were extremely professional, and I was happy with the result. I returned to Dr. Rosing for lipo procedures. Again, he spent a tremendous amount of time with me discussing his strategy and not once did I have to wait past my appointment times for him to see me. On surgery day, I was both pleased and calmed to see Dr. Rosing had assembled a team of professionals to accompany him in the operating room. The evening after surgery, Dr. Rosing called to check on me and answered all my questions. I was so pleased with his attention to detail and absolutely thrilled with the result. Dr. Rosing is not only a doctor, he is an artist. He is also man of integrity. Dr. Rosing, Morgan and Leah are the best. Buyer Beware. Posting a poor review seems to be my only recourse to warn others about my experience. I wanted to come away with a real success story. I consulted with Dr Rosing about my lipo on arms and decided to move forward. The front office staff at the time was really a pleasure. Then it turns badly. I underwent surgery for my arms. I was told that I would see results in 6-8 weeks after my surgery. I've had lipo on my legs about 20 years prior and knew there would be time needed to heal and see full effects of the procedure. After 8 weeks, I kept measuring my arms and there was ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in measurements from before the surgery. I brought this point up to the doctor. His staff had taken pictures before and 6-8 weeks after. He sent me side by sides of before and after of my arms, and AGREED WITH ME. Full disclosure; he then tried to sell me on a non-surgical procedure(later withdrawn) as an option and another surgical procedure in which I would shoulder more costs from surgical center fees. After having my arm procedure (I cant speak to his proficiency with any other procedures) be so ineffective, I chose not to go under the knife with the risk of the same result with Dr Rosing. I felt misled and most importantly upset that I had paid a very large price tag towards a procedure I'd waited years to get.. I was very bummed to have taken time from work and spent what was a lot of money only to have ZERO improvement. I cannot recommend this doctor at all. read more
