Honestly, I wasn't expecting dramatic improvement since I've had these spots for a long time and have done IPL treatments before. Wow! I was completely blown away. Elle was incredibly kind and thorough. She asked thoughtful questions about my concerns and walked me through a clear, step-by-step treatment plan, without it ever feeling overwhelming. Her approach felt very much like "let's start here, see how your skin responds, and then build from there," which I truly appreciated. The treatment itself was surprisingly comfortable. Elle checked in with me several times, and at one point I almost asked her to turn it up being the control freak I am, but I trusted her expertise, and I'm so glad I did. I barely felt anything, and the results speak for themselves. The brown spots came up beautifully and flaked off, and my skin looks amazing. I'm beyond happy with the outcome. By the end of the appointment, I genuinely felt like Elle was one of my good friends, we should probably be going to brunch together. I visited this office for a BBL HEROic treatment and invested over $4,000, but unfortunately felt the experience resulted in only a partial and ineffective treatment. The clinic did not clearly explain the different settings or numerical levels used with the device, or how each one targets concerns such as pigmentation, redness, or texture. My face, neck, chest, and shoulders were treated, yet I did not see any noticeable improvement. I experienced no visible changes in redness or skin texture, and I was told during the visit that I did not have significant brown spots or sun damage to address. Based on that, I assumed the treatment would focus more on settings designed to improve texture and redness, but that did not appear to be the case. Given the cost, it was disappointing to see no visible results. I remained in communication with the office during the first 30 days post-treatment and provided photos documenting the lack of change in my skin. The clinic itself is very nice and professional; however, I was disappointed that a follow-up or corrective treatment was not offered. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience today was very disappointing. First, nice offices and a very friendly front desk team. And Dr. John Laura himself was very informative and accommodating to what I needed and wanted. I went in with constant right shoulder pain for the last 12 months. I did a lot of research and talked to numerous people with the same pain. I was originally considering stem-cell therapy, but friends with the same pain highly recommended peptide shots into my shoulder, that it worked for them, and it was a significantly less expensive option. I am not going to mention names, but I went in and met with the nurse, I told her my issue, and she recommended a Peptide IV Drip that it would help with inflammation through my whole body - and it cost $500. I told her my whole body doesn't hurt just my shoulder, and I have been recommended by numerous people just to have the shots directly in the shoulder where the pain is. But she kept on pushing the IV Drip, to the point where it got a little confrontational, and then she said let me get Dr. Laura. He came in and agreed with me that most athletic people like to get the shots right in the area of pain, he answered some questions then he left the room. I asked the nurse how much for a bottle of peptide and she said $500. I then asked how many shots do I get with one bottle and she said 4. That seemed reasonable to me so she gave me a shot in shoulder, I paid the $500. And set an appointment for the following week. I showed up today to get my 2nd of 4 shots, I was in the medical room no more than a couple minutes, she gave me a shot. I went out to schedule my 3rd appt, and the admin said that is $500. I said no I already paid the $500 and I get 4 shots. The nurse was standing there and said no it is $500 a bottle and she injected a whole bottle into me (which I assume would be excessive if she really did). I said no, you told me it was $500 for a bottle, and I would get 4 shots. She denied it, saying again it was $500 for a bottle and she used a whole bottle on me. Not wanting to cause a confrontation, I paid it. They have lost a patient, future monies I would have spent there and any future referrals. read more

Saw Dr. Laura several times over the last six months. Drove over an hour from LA to OC for skin. He is great in his skill, but didn't call back on some specific medical issues I had concern over--even after requesting several times--so I found another doctor. In addition, his office manager-- Kari Kelly --is the biggest reason I would never go there again, or recommend. I think she forgets bedside manner, patient concern, and priority are important--and Dr. Laura isn't the only doctor out there. She is rude, condescending, entitled tone, and has been (in my experience) consistently rude over the course of several months. You would think it was HER practice, but no...she's just poorly representing his. She treats patients like she is doing THEM a favor by allowing them into this office--it's incredible. People should also be informed that when you email or text, it is not private, and the entire office has access to those private medical records and photos over a shared office account floating around. Shop around if you care about being treated like a patient supporting a medical practice, and not a sub-par human being. read more

Yes, everyone in the office is beautiful and very nice and friendly...however, I recommend Tammy because she is a phenomenally skilled RN esthetician who does the more specialized jobs in the office. She is so smart (has a BSN and RN degrees), knows anatomy, stays current on new publications and techniques, authoritatively helps patient decide which procedure will obtain the best result. I chose a single gold needle RF micro needling of my face, focusing on my saggy under eyes and jowels. It was just done yesterday so it is a little too early to tell, but I am sure I will be more than satisfied. Her manual dexterity is excellent as she "reaches" hard to access areas, and since she has been working in the field for many years, she has literally "seen it all" so she never sees incapacitating surprises.
