When I confronted the Director about the theft, she told me I was upset about my mom's passing. I suggested she look at the log who went in and out of the room. I also told her that I had already notified Santa Rosa police , they took my report seriously. It turned out the CNA that took my Mom's jewelry also stole from others. If you put your parents there , make sure anything of value does not move in with them. Ask them for their policy on what happens when your loved one passes . It's bad enough to have a sudden death of your loved one , you also do not need to have a crime committed against your family .

I really feel like they played "gotcha" and intentionally, slowly, raised their prices after he was moved in and it did not make sense to move him out. Avoid this place.

My folks have only been there for one month, having come from a beautiful hilltop home on sonoma Mountain, and they are both already saying they are happy there. There are tons of amazing activities scheduled all day long, and their amazing two bedroom apartment gives them a living room, a bedroom,and an extra bedroom for my father's computer and office. On top of all that, Grace, who helped us through every step, is the most kind, loving, understanding, and patient person to help your family through this difficult time. She is amazing! Sunrise Villa is not cheap however, and you'll need plenty of money in order to stay there, but it's definitely worth it, and they have created an assisted living facility that takes the sting out of the painful family process that leads to the need for it. Chancellor Place in Windsor was such a beautiful place for my father in his last days. All of the…read morestaff were very attentive and compassionate and always asked me if there was anything that they could do for my father while he was there for 5 months. There is a beautiful garden area in back and the food was very good. When my father was declining rapidly they were always there for me. When I was leaving with him after his death the whole staff stood in a double line and they all placed lilies on him and gave me hugs. They all said they would miss him and I know they were sincere. I would highly recommend Chancellor Place to anyone seeking an assisted living facility for their loved ones. I will always be grateful for the care they provided my father for his recent final days!
