Since it was my first time, I showed up 10 mins before my scheduled appointment as I did not know what to expect. The moment I opened the door, I got attacked by her dog. Dog ran after me even outside and it freaked me out. I'm terrified of dogs and here she had hers right there, without even a leash, ready to attack anyone that even dares to walk in the door. Her excuse was she lost track of time and did not want to leave her dog at home for 12 hours. That's very unprofessional of her but fine, I was thinking maybe she's going to make up for this incident in the session. But no. Each session is supposed to be 40 mins long. She cut mine short to 25-30 mins. When I asked her why it wasn't a full session, she said there wasn't enough time since she had another appointment scheduled and I had to fill out paperwork. There was no paperwork to fill out. It was one single form that requires your basic info, which took 2 mins at the most. Remind you, I showed up early and had I not been attacked by her dog, she would have had more time. Did I mention she has no team? She runs the Woodbridge Office by herself. Not my problem! Keeping all of this aside, I asked her what she would recommend for future sessions. She said she offers a package of 5 or 6 sessions for $1,500. That's $250 a session. How is that a package deal when I just paid $129 for one session, which showed zero results? She said it was cheaper than getting a surgery. Wow! I don't need a surgery because I'm not a huge person. I'm pretty small. I weight 120 pounds but I have few problematic areas. I wasn't looking for a miracle or had any unrealistic expectations but if you can't help me loose a single inch from any of the targeted area of my body or help the appearance of the skin in any way then what the hell am I paying even a dime for? 0.04 here and 0.02 and 0.03 there is her way of manipulating you to believe you have lost a total inch when everything looks and feels the same. She can tighten that measuring tape all she wants but no one is that stupid. Anyways, I asked her if a wrap would help instead and she said no, not really. It's more of a detox. Well, if none of her services help loose inches, or help the appearance of your body or tighten any area then why are you false advertising it? Then she said it wouldn't work, not for my body. Wait, what is that supposed to mean? If wrap doesn't work on small average bodies then is it only meant for huge/fat ones? Wouldn't they need surgery? According to her, if I wasn't happy with my first session, she doesn't feel comfortable doing anything else. At that point she came across really rude and racist towards me. She didn't even want to explain anything after that pretending she doesn't know anything. Oh well, I'm glad I did not sign up for that "package deal". I do not recommend her to anyone. Hell, I'll pay double the price to someone else as long as they don't treat me like she did. It was a total waste of time and money. What a rip off! Anita, save your replies for someone else! Please read the below.... BACKGROUND: Husband (me) works in the DC area. Wife stays home with two young boys (5 &2) and home schools both kids..... After husband works 10 plus hours a day and commutes back home, wife is ready to run out the door, while scramming with her standing up (for real). Wife usually goes to the gym 3 times a week and runs regularly with her friend Maria Delgado (OK, Maria is our real-estate and friend, check her out, other review....). So this routine is been going on for 3 years and my wife last year began to get pretty upset because she was not seeing much results. We know that the body goes through changes, etc.... First I ended paying for this (all husband are at fault, you too). She said to me , "no more cup cakes, apple pies, or grilled steaks, or parmegiano reggiano cheese, Italian pasta, etc...) Wow, why do I have to pay for this? Oh well, so I stopped bringing in sweets to the house (I make sure to eat the stuff right before getting home). Ok, to the point, sorry. Wife tried everything with some results (P90x, insane, zumba, rumba, cumbia, ok just made that up, but it sounded good) We even thought of surgery to eliminate (not enhancement, this is N/A) fat around her waist area, etc... not an option for wife who does not like to go to the doc and less go through a surgery.... Finally it was time to go to a professional and that is when we met Mabir Riveros of HealthyDermis. HealthyDermis is a clinic that specializes in the art of medical aesthetic services. Basically, they do non-surgical liposuction/body sculpturing, and this is what we were looking for. My wife first did 6 sessions and the results were pretty amazing. I noticed that her belly fat was slowly being eliminated, while her waist began to form and shape out. I have to say that she looks good and I went ahead and told her to continue the treatments for long lasting results. When people lose weight, normally the hangs down. Well, on this case one of the equipment that Marbir uses firms the outer skin while another machine burns fat. I don't know all of the specific terms but this really works and I am happy that my wife is feeling great about herself and believe me, a happy wife, a happy husband (priceless)! Lastly, the other thing my wife is doing is a non-surgical face lift, and again, pretty amazing results. I hope that my review encourage others to check HealthyDermis and for other husbands to support their wife's. Guy's is well worth it. Also, please don't tell no one but I may try a few things myself. In regards to the business the staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable of the outcomes of the lipo laser (only service I get). The owner is the most knowledgeable. So ask for her if you have any questions that are not answered. She's professional and very responsive. In regards to the treatment. If all you do is drink the amount of water they tell you and don't eat 1hr before this will not work for you. I've done the procedure both ways: 1. With the above instructions and 2. With the following: I got a professional trainer who has measured everything (inches, body fat, BMI, etc) and they also provide a meal plan for weight loss and muscle building. Every body is different so what works for me might not work for you. When meeting with my trainer 3-4 times a week, exercising on my own the rest of the week, sticking to my strict meal plan 5-6 days a week (had 1 cheat day on occasional weeks) not only did my stomach get flat, but my skin also retracted. My problem area is my lower belly, and the owner was worried that I would need a different treatment after lipo laser sessions because after the fat is dissolved that particular skin tends to be lose and sag, but this was not my case. This could be due to the workout sessions, or just my genes. But as I'm losing the fat in my belly, the lower belly skin is not sagging. My point is, this is a lifestyle change. I was charged 160.00 for less than 15 mins visit on Saturday 9/7 with a nurse practitioner who only took my blood pressure and flipped through notes. Nothing of value. The other two Nurse practitioner I have seen are very attentive and LISTEN. They have shown they care and in vested in my weight loss journey and talk about options. I wish I pick which Nurse Practitioner I could book an appointment with....Belite does not offer that.
