Wonderful service and tasting. Very generous pours, and I liked the form factor where you could go back and forth between the different wines if you wanted instead of the usual linear flow (they were served in test tubes). I think they do this so they can continue to serve multiple people at the same time, but it might have been for Halloween. I liked it although the pours ended up being way too much to get through. I am not a big wine drinker. We ended up wasting most of our pours, unfortunately. The wines themselves were quite nice. Our favorite was the red blend followed by the cab. We do prefer reds over whites. The cab rose was pleasant though and fun to try since it was followed by the full cab.

Found this spot on groupon and came in for a tasting. They were friendly enough when we walked in, got our wine poured and gave us a paper and called it a day. That's how if felt. We tried their rose, white, & red wines and they were all delicious & difficult to choose from! I settled on taking the rose one home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owners were very laidback & welcoming, & the interior was pretty cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].i saw some customers using some blankets (there was such a downpour while we were there!) Alluvium offers as you visit, which I thought was a thoughtful gesture. Their membership program also seems really reasonable and they have fun events going on each month.

I love Alluvium Cellars! The wine is absolutely remarkable, I especially love the rosé. They definitely have more reds than whites, but the tasting menu is a great combination of both. I loved the wines so much that I signed up for a membership after my tasting. The room itself is really cool-super well decorated and spacious. It has a much younger feel than other wineries and the vibes are very trendy. There is also a great patio for nice days. The staff is gracious, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with them about the wines, harvest, and how they've grown since opening in a June 2022. This is a great place to taste if you appreciate good wines and want to drink them somewhere that is fun and insta-friendly. They are also super dog friendly and even brought my dogs watersI can't wait to go back with a group to friends!

Alluvium Cellars is such a gem in Woodinville! On our recent visit, I especially loved trying their white and rosé selections. The white was crisp and refreshing, perfect for an easy sip, but the real standout for me was their rosé. It's bright, beautifully balanced, and so versatile -- honestly one of my new favorites. First of all, I actually came to Alluvium for a pop up event with Skin Spirit and Biscuit Babes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed the industrial modern vibe among the wine barrels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is large enough to host large groups[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the owner couldn't be friendlier. I enjoyed the GSM and Cab Franc. The flavors were well blended and young, so will definitely cellar well. I learned there is a location in Bothell and I can wait to bring my bookclub there! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great winery tasting venue. Very chic and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My son and I came here for a Yelp Elite Experience and really enjoyed it. While there I bought a bottle of the dark red blend called Agerasia, which was my favorite. While at the tasting room, we each had a flight of four of Alluvium Cellars wines which included a white, rose, a red and a darker red. Each is a blend and were all very delicious. I really liked the test tubes they serve the flights in which somehow made it seem more "Halloweey" to me. Now I know of another great winery in the Woodinville warehouse district for my next wine tasting! read more

Visited Alluvium Cellars over the weekend for a birthday party and had a great time! Located in Woodinville so lots of other wineries/cideries, and breweries nearby. We even stopped by Locust Cider on the way out to pick up some drinks for home! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tasting room itself is cozy and was the perfect setting for a fun party![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the low lighting, lots of seating, and the wines were great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a chardonnay and a rosé that were both pretty good. Prices are pretty standard in comparison to other wineries. Service is also great! Overall a solid spot to add into your wine tasting rotation when in Woodinville! read more

Alluvium Cellars is fantastic! The wine is really wonderful, the tasting room is gorgeous, and the staff, like Amy are super knowledgable and super engaging. Amar, their rose, is at the top of my list. Their Agerasia, a red blend, is perfect with Cab Franc and Cab Sav in the front. Alluvium is our new favorite spot! The aesthetic was so cute and so modern. Very instagrammable. Alexa & Angela were the nicest humans & made us feel right at home. Angela's daughter was also the sweetest. Alexa & Angela checked in on us throughout the tasting and told us about all the fun events coming up. Each tasting pours was the size of a full glass, which is an incredible value. Super excited to come to one of their events! We will be back! read more

I had a great fortune of stopping in late yesterday at alluvium cellars in Woodinville, The hostess Maryanne was personable and a pleasant person to talk to she was new at the craft but she will learn soon,. The wine here is excellent medium priced and the location is good I highly recommend you give the Reds a try as they seem to be To be my favorite. I hope management recognizes Maryanne for her enthusiastic approach to wine. read more

Alluvium is part of a complex adjoined to Locust Cider. There are lots of games and things for kids to play like even a classic Nintendo system. My kids were having fun and the place seems family friendly. But a member of the staff approached us and said our kids were being disruptive. They were laughing (ages 4 & 6) , while playing super Mario . As any kid will do. After he reprimanded them he got in his car and drove off ... I asked other members of the staff if customers had complained they said it wasn't a problem and there were no customers since they were closing in 10 minutes , and my kids were fine. His complaint was a fabrication, he just wanted to intentionally ruin the fun of two little kids. And I do have video for anyone too see that they were playing just like normal kids. read more

They do a summer concert series, and it was the first one of the season. My friend and I got there early, and only one other group had started lining up for VIP. So we went to the tasting room and grabbed seats at the bar. They were offering a $30 "Take Away Flight" with both red and white wine options. I got three reds and the white that they promoted for the summer concert series. All of them were pretty good. I loved how the wine flight was presented (see photo). I would definitely go back just to hang out at the winery next time and drink more. SUMMER CONCERT SERIES I thought the concert would be well organized since this isn't their first time. However, the staff seemed lost when it came to when and where the VIP check-in would be. We had Soundcheck VIP tickets for Yellowcard, and didn't get to go in until like 45 minutes after the scheduled time. So that cut into the VIPs' early entry time. Fortunately we got to the merch tables right before they let general admission in. There were plenty of porta potties. A decent amount of food options. We got a burger and chicken fingers & fries. Of course they offered wine, as well as beer. You also had the option to buy wine bottles at the winery and bring it into the concert area. We sat front row, which had a great view, but it was also right in front of a walkway, so that was a bit annoying. Watching soundcheck and the concert itself was very fun. But a benefit is we were able to charge my husband's wheelchair there on a visit. While the park is open every day, the coffee shop is not. Definitely this should be a spot for all locals. Nice and shaded, quiet little creeks, plenty of seating for those that were inspired to journal, plenty of elderly people using this time to exercise and stretch. We enjoyed the different areas like the swinging bridge, the Japanese garden and even the little cafe they have there. Fairly priced items and plenty of tables to enjoy a refreshment and snack. By the time we were done, the gift shop was already closed. So I took the opportunity to drop a donation into the box instead.

TERRIBLE venue management under the guise of a beautiful space…read more In short, three months after signing with The Barn at Holly Farm we were told management would rather start a year of self-initiated renovations than honor their contract with us. Their decision not only affected us, but at least nine other couples who had booked weddings there too. For my fiancé and me, this left us with less than 7 months before the wedding date to find a new venue and re-plan our entire event. It took over a month for us to find a new space that could accommodate our wedding size indoors. To receive a full refund, we were expected to sign a document that stated we wouldn't make any comments which "may, directly or indirectly, disparage" The Barn at Holly Farm (obviously we did not accept those terms). It then took over a month to receive the funds for The Barn's breach of contract. I hope no other couple has to experience The Barn at Holly Farm's mismanagement and the nightmare experience they caused at least 10 couples in 2021!

My husband and I were married at the Barn at Holly Farm in May 2019 (I meant to leave a review…read moresooner but life quickly got in the way). We worked with Karmel as well as a flower vendor (Dirty Girl) and photographers (GSquared) whom Karmel recommended. Part of the reason we were drawn to this venue is because of the good works that they do with equine therapy and rescued farm animals. Our experience with the Barn was fantastic. We really hit it off with Karmel and she made planning the wedding fun and low stress. The vendors she recommended also did a great job and at the end of the day, are just good people. I feel like they all connected with us on a personal level. One fun perk this venue offered is for a small fee someone from the Barn takes guests out to meet some of the animals (chickens, goats, llamas, etc.) during the social hour before the reception. This was a lovely and charming way to start the celebration. I think that what we paid was fair for the service we received. The only snafu at the very end was having to pack our own stuff even though we paid extra for the clean-up service, but it was mostly just our personal belongings and it wasn't a big deal. There's always a little wedding drama - in this case our own guests, and the way that Karmel and vendors went about handling it to reduce the stress on us was beautifully done. They were respectful and discreet and we were incredibly grateful for their support. The space itself on the day of the wedding was absolutely stunning and everything was set up exactly as we had planned. It was a truly magical day and I'm so glad we chose the Barn to get married. I'd do it all over again. :)

We visited Bailey Family Farm on the very first day of strawberry picking for the year (Jun 1)…read moreright after lunch. They had their fields filled with their earliest variety, Sweet Sunrise, with tons and tons of gigantic berries ready for harvest. When I say tons, I mean it - each plant was flush with berries, and it barely took us 30 minutes to basically fill up our entire flat. They also had a limited number of Shuksan and Rainier strawberries, and some barely ripe Totems available for U Pick. We ended up picking an entire box with Sweet Sunrise and two smaller pints of Shuksan and Rainier. Sweet Sunrise - These are a deep crimson red both inside and out. They are large (averaging around 33g each), but large doesn't necessarily mean better. In this case, the taste is kind of diluted down by the amount of water inside. The most ripe and soft ones are sweet and fragrant, but the vast majority are somewhat diluted in flavor. Even the sourness is dilute. The berries are mostly soft and tender. These are still really great strawberries, but are more muted in flavor compared to some of the smaller varieties. Shuksan - This is the 2nd time I've eaten Shuksans and the 2nd time I've been a little disappointed. These are medium size berries, coming in at around 15.5g each. They are extremely sour, making me pucker with every bite. They are also quite a bit firmer than the other two strawberries, even the darker crimson ones. Quite possibly it's too early in the season for these. I'll have to come back later to try more. These have the most lumps and mutant individuals with tons of multiple fused berries. Rainier - This is probably my 2nd favorite variety of strawberry after Hoods (last year, I ate half a flat every week when these were available). It's really early in the season, so there weren't too many available for us to pick. The ones that we were able to locate fill the mouth with a delightful, strong and potent strawberry fragrance. Unfortunately most are quite a bit on the sour side - the ones in the coming weeks will probably be more sweet. Size is by far the smallest, coming in at around 12g per. The berries are really soft and teeth slice through them like warm butter. They are more acidic and are the only strawberry variety to cause me some stomach issues. We visited again the following Monday and the plants were noticeably skimpier. The leftover Sweet Sunrise were only a third the size of previous, and mostly not as ripe. There were more ripe Shuksans, Totems, Rainiers, and even some Tillamooks, Puget Crimsons, and Mary's Peaks ready. Just some quick notes for these: Tillamook - 24.4g avg, 6.2 brix, varying shape, awful variety, even the super red ones are ridiculously sour. Even beyond the sour, they taste awful. The juice is sour, bitter, nasty, the worst. Puget Crimson - 35.8g avg, 8.2 brix, caps really easily, didn't pick a single strawberry where the cap stayed on. Very conical in shape. Really dark red color. Stronger flavor than tillamook and more sweet, but still quite sour. Expected more flavor for being so dark red. Juice is dark in color, no particular distinguishing characteristics. Mary's Peak - 18.8g avg, 8.4 brix, leaves stay attached, some even have stems. Mostly conical in shape but some wider. Really noticeable seeds, can feel them protruding out of the skin. Very pronounced sweeter but mild flavor, some grassy notes. Juice has some candy element like pixie sticks but more sour. Really love the juice. Sweet Sunrise - 17.2g avg, 7.3 brix, half the size of the ones picked the previous week and not nearly as good. Not as ripe I guess so they don't cap nearly as easily. Deep red color, but more sour than sweet. Shuksan - 17.6g avg, 8 brix, Lumpy strawberries, lots of them fused together into big half moon shapes. Great flavor complexity, nasal, strong strawberry flavor, a little perfumey. More stem quality in the flavor, vegetal not bitter, probably because the pith/stem area stays attached more. Juice normal and bright. I liked these way more than the previous week. Rainier - 12.2g avg, 9.5 brix, most of the ripe ones have holes in them from birds and slugs. Aromatic, sweet but sour. Super perfumey elements. Best in flavor. Juice astringent surprisingly not as sweet as the brix would imply, more acidic instead. I like eating the whole berry more than juiced. Thanks to Bailey Farm having so many varieties, this kind of turned into a little science experiment. What else can I say other than that I will definitely be back next year for more strawberries. As a side note: I really wish farms grew Hood strawberries around here. Maybe we just don't have the right climate and soil for that variety? Those are my favorite by far, with the most sweetness (one batch I measured this year when down in Portland was 16 brix!) and best flavor complexity.

We came here for a Yelp event and had such a great time! The atmosphere at Alluvium Cellars is warm and welcoming, with staff who clearly enjoy sharing their wines and knowledge. The pairings were such a fun touch -- pizza with their wines was delicious, and the red velvet bundt cakes with the port wine were absolutely perfect. The port especially stood out, smooth and rich without being overly sweet. It's a great spot in Woodinville if you're looking to relax, enjoy quality wine, and try some creative pairings.
