I ordered a 26" x 31" multi color floral bouquet for a funeral which was out of town. It was called Most Memorable Tribute. The item delivered was not the item ordered. When I placed the order I asked if the photo on the website was what the arrangement would look like. I was told it would look like that, in size and appearance. I even upgraded to PREMIUM which cost more, $186.00, but would be even better. I also confirmed that they would be able to deliver on time and I was told that, yes they would. At NO time was I told that they may substitute the product. Upon arriving at the funeral I looked for my flowers. However, there was no such item. When I asked the family if they received my flowers my cousin pointed to an item on the floor. A very small, perhaps 10 - 12", container with some greens in it. VERY tiny and NOT ONE flower. I was upset and embarrassed. This was NOT what I ordered and not what I paid for, $186.00. By the way, my credit card statement shows the charge as $206.00! And, oh yes, the card on the plant was written incorrectly! I have been calling the business every day for 3 weeks. No one answers and no one returns my calls. I finally got someone to answer and was asked for an order number. I have no order number because I was never given an invoice or a receipt. Someone called me a couple days later and asked for a picture of the item they delivered. I sent it and one week later have not received a return call. Today someone finally answered a call and hung up on me three times! He was an extremely rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, arrogant neanderthal. They refuse to speak to me or address the situation. I would NEVER use this florist again and would not recommend them to anyone, ever, for any occasion! They are rude, unprofessional and do not know how to create a floral arrangement. They have very poor business practices and HORRIBLE customer service. They are LIARS and THIEVES. They have $206.00 of my money for a cheap, misrepresented product, incorrect item. The upgraded version looked like a far less quality version of the picture posted & the color scheme & arrangement weren't even close. I was looking for a flower shop in my area to have a nice flower arrangement delivered to my wife's work to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Just as most people in other reviews say, when ordering, a guy answered the phone and said he was with a customer and would have someone call me back from her home. That should have been a dead giveaway. I got a call with no caller ID. I was told that minimum charge was ~$73, plus tax and delivery. That should have been another dead giveaway. I can't believe I fell for this as I'm a well educated hard working guy. What my wife got were dying flowers pitifully arranged. See pic enclosed of arrangement just after it was delivered. I called back and complained, got another call back from female "manager", who said she would share my comments with the owner, who she said was a male. I got taken for $100. Both times she asked for delivery to a city that I do not service...when I responded that I do not deliver to that city, she called me a dick (in 2019) and today called me an as*hole. I asked for zip code and she gave attitude that I would even ask such a question. She said the zip code, I asked her for the City name, she said the zip code again. I said I need the city or town name to be specific. (There are SO many zip codes, city names, repeating addresses... so when placing any kind of order in NYC you have to be extremely specific and detailed to ensure it's going to the right place. And being in Queens, we're in between Manhattan and Long Island, we deliver ALL over the area, so in our case, asking for exact city and zip code is necessary and a basic question to ask someone. Her response: "OH MY GODDDD WHAT THE F**K??" And hung up on me. Unreal. I tried calling back multiple times to ask if that's how she speaks to customers, and she kept ignoring my call. It's clear this business is a scam, and it's very clear this was not a stand alone incident, also very clear she doesn't read through these reviews. ZERO stars!! Allyson's Flowers wants to SCAM you! They are NOT local to your city! They don't even have a flower shop location in Westlake, Ohio! They take your money and get the cheapest arrangement they can from real flower shops local to your venue. I requested a custom $250 arrangement for a memorial service which ended up costing $288 with taxes and delivery fee. I gave very specific instructions for color and flowers for this large spray. After seeing the flowers that were delivered, it was obvious that my instructions were not followed, and a different flower shop name was on the arrangement. I found out that the local flower shop was not given my specific instructions and furthermore that Allyson's flowers had only paid them for a "small" spray , which cost less than $160, including the delivery fee! I called Allyson's flowers multiple times and talked to Steven (who answered the phone) and was called back by Cathy Anne (the 'manager') who always used a private number. I was either put on hold or hung up on every time I talked with one of them, and I was never able to give a full explanation of the problem, though I remained cool and cordial throughout the (brief) conversations. I also emailed the company "Plantrex" three times with very reasonable and well-founded complaints (with photos), and I received NO response. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Of three email addressed from their site that I used to contact them, one went unanswered and two bounced. No answer on the phone number. I used Allyson's Flowers in McEwen, TN. I ordered a Deluxe Gift Basket online from Allyson Flowers for my Aunt's funeral home visitation since I live in New York State and couldn't attend in person. The basket on their website appeared to be a beautiful arrangement, featuring gourmet meats, mustards, pretzels, and other high-quality items. I thought it would be a thoughtful gesture for my Uncle and his family. However, when my cousin sent me a picture to thank me, I was shocked to see that the basket prominently featured items like SnackPak chocolate pudding cups and what appeared to be a juice box, along with other unidentifiable items. I was extremely disappointed, especially considering the basket cost $122. I immediately emailed Allyson Flowers with a copy of the receipt and the photo my cousin sent, requesting either a refund or that a proper deluxe basket be sent to my Uncle's home. I received no response. After three days, I called the store and was transferred to the person who decorates the baskets. I explained the situation, and she said she would discuss it with the owner and get back to me. When I heard nothing after three more days, I called again, only to be told that the matter was considered closed. I made it clear that it was not resolved to my satisfaction. The decorator called me again and explained that they can't guarantee the contents of the baskets because they use whatever items they have on hand. I couldn't believe it--SnackPak pudding cups in a $122 basket? When I questioned this, she mentioned that there were other items in the basket, then abruptly hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with the owner, Allyson. I was initially told she only comes in once a week, and then later that she wouldn't be back until mid-September. Frustrated, I asked them to contact her directly, as the decorator had done, and to pass along my information. I also mentioned that I would be sharing my experience online. The flowers that I ordered were made by a secondary florist that not only did not duplicate what the arrangement should look like, they used different flowers and different colors than were expected. The arrangement I ordered was not at close to what was delivered. It was supposed to be a 22" tall arrangement with about 6 different flowers in a vase. It was instead a 11" tall arrangement with three different flowers in a mason jar. I called the local florist that delivered it and they said they had a budget of $65 dollars from Allysons (I paid $110) and that the ONLY instructions was to have three different colored flowers. That's it. No description, no vase. Nothing. I called Allysons to ask for the correct arrangement or a refund on a Friday, talked to Kathy Anne, and she said someone would call be back in about two hours to discuss. No one did. I called back on Monday, talked to her again, and once she realized who I was, she hung up on me. I feel I need to point out that I was calm and polite the entire time, never getting angry. How about zero stars!!! Worst business I have ever dealt with. First, they posed as a local flower shop in Pennsylvania. I ordered a deluxe pillar arrangement (total cost $142.10). I confirmed with them what was included in the arrangement which was as pictured. Found out that my order was farmed out to another florist (that was local). Also found out that Allyson's Florist is located in Ohio (or that is where my credit card was charged). Very deceitful. What was ordered and delivered to my Aunt and Uncle were totally different. I called Allyson's on December 23rd to have the correct centerpiece delivered. No response. The one delivered was of much less quality, something I could have put together myself (very cheap looking). No fresh flowers, no pinecones, no red berries, just spray painted silver leaves and an ugly glass globe with a taper candle which I did not want. I specifically wanted a pillar candle. To date, many, many phone calls and emails have been sent to Allyson's and to the other florist to remedy this situation. Received two phone calls from Allyson's - one said she would have to talk to the owner and the second stating that he the owner would have a woman call me back that he could not identify) ??? The manager eventually called me back. Advised at that time of year, they can only make arrangements of what they have available. They still acted like they delivered the arrangement (from Ohio to PA). When I told them I did a complete investigation on them and what happened, calling them out. She hung up on me. A restricted number so you can't call back. I called the shop again, got the owner. He said the manager handles such things, did not seem to care that I was posting a review, stopping payment nor contacting the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. The second florist, the one that my order was farmed out to, called back. She was told that to create an arrangement for $45.00 which explains what was sent. The second florist also advised that she did not receive any photo nor description of what was ordered. So, Allyson's flowers kept $100 of my order for just taking a phone call (wow). The second florist was very apologetic and advised that she does not like to deal with them nor gets payment from them. The charges are in dispute on my credit card, this review is being written (and being added to the rest of the BAD REVIEWS). I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. I only wish I would have seen these reviews first. Avoid this florist at all costs! Find a reputable florist. Find it hard to believe they are still in business after all of these bad reviews, doubt they will be in business much longer. They should be ashamed of themselves in ripping people off. Fraud! I placed an online order on Friday, Febraury 13, 2026 for deliver on Monday, Febraury 16, 2026. The order was to be delivered to Show Low, AZ. Allyson's Flowers listed as serving Show Low on their website. They charged my credit..of course! However, i never received a confirmation email that they flowers were delivered or recieved a thank you from the recipient and that was very odd. I called end of day on Feb 16th and last a rather nasty voicemail asking them to call me. By mid-day no response from them and I tried calling again. After several attempts at calling, no answer.The phone goes directly to voicemail. Finally, an employee "Kathy" calls and says they don't deliver out that far and that "he" even tried to find a local florists who delivers there but couldn't find one. And they refunded my credit card. I said well that's a good thing since you didn't deliver anything! And that why does their website indicate they are local and they deliver to Show Low? The store employee did not inform me that the recipient would need to exchange the wrong flowers with the new ones and they did not give us an exact day or time they would be coming with the corrected order. When they did return they tried to give my family member a centerpiece that looked like a basic arrangement instead of the upgraded arrangement I paid for. The delivery person refused to give my mother-in-law the new arrangement without collecting the incorrect, three day old flowers/centerpiece. Trying to find a plant, an orchard, to send for a friend's milestone Birthday turned out to take me to the cleaners, so to speak. I realize these are difficult times yet for some reason I have sent more flowers this year than usual, all across the country. I have found most reliable and some excellent. But Allyson's left me scratching my head why I wasn't more observant and less hasty. It is true, as posted by others here, that the web page is misleading to think Allyson's is a local florist. It is not. It is a national florist brokerage company in Cleveland, Ohio. I will admit to having seen Cleveland mentioned somewhere on the web site, and ignored it as it did seem like a locally based business; in this case coastal California. I placed the order online on a Saturday for a Wednesday delivery. All seemed fine. Sometime on Tuesday they left a phone message to call them. I missed the call and message and for some very unusual reason the unanswered call was never alerted to me on my phone, as it always does...OK, may not be their fault; but nonetheless missed it. Wednesday morning I did get another call and message to call them in order to make the delivery. Strange? I called back to the number they left and a man answers and says the woman I need to reach is at home so she'll need to call me back. I asked if I gave him the referenced order number if he could tell me the issue. No. The number coming through my phone is a "private number" so I can't call the woman directly. I am heading out of town and she finally calls to tell me their local "affiliated florist" is not open so I'll need to pay an additional $35. for delivery from another location! Really? That's like 35% more than the entire order! I told her I felt trapped and had no choice but to agree. She was pleasant enough, yet in no way remorseful. I felt taken advantage of and boxed into a much higher charge in the 11th hour. So, what did I expect- First, I placed the order on Saturday, so what happened to calling me on Monday so I had time to make a decision? Second, why not leave a message telling me the issue in lieu of just needing to talk with me right away?...poor business practice. Third, what is it with the 'private number' so I can't call back directly and the number left leads me to a person who can't help me. Fourth, $35. extra! Last minute! I made a purchase and a contarct to provide a product and service for a fixed amount. It seems unconscionable to raise it last minute so exorbitantly. Yes, I could have said no, but I needed the gift delivered that day! Fifth, other florists have notified me when the delivery was made. Nothing from Allyson's. Buyer beware! Do Not Use! I they to always use local florists. I ordered my Mother's Day flowers 2 weeks in advance by phone. Get a call at 5:30PM the Friday before Mother's Day, (you know, when everyone is closed), and am told it is to far for them to deliver. They say they are in McGrady NC, I gave and reviewed the address, (in McGrady), and order with them on the phone and they wait until this time to tell me they would not deliver and were canceling the order and hung up on me. Well looks like I was also duped and didn't check out reviews in advance. The manager, Kathy Anne, just called me back and when I presented her with my concern she abruptly hung up the phone. I called their general number and the secretary asked to put me on hold and then after 2 minutes hung up on me. So onto Yelp it is! ****DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THESE GUYS THEY ARE A MASSIVE SCAM!**** I don't say that lightly. I looked for a "local" florist and Allyson's popped up first and was presented online as a local company (I'm in Colorado - come to find out they are in Ohio). Attached are the pictures of what I ordered and what I received. Vastly different from each other and delivered by a different company. I contacted that local company and told her I paid $92+ for the arrangement. She was shocked and said that after the delivery fee of $12.50 was paid she was paid $45 by Allyson's for the arrangement. So here I am paying for an almost $100 for an arrangement and the florist is given and impossible task of creating a $100 arrangement for $45. In doing the math, without the delivery fee included or the taxes, Allyson's charged me $28.95 to pick up the phone and make an order with the local florist and then short me the actual arrangement I ordered. I then asked the local florist what descriptors they were given by Allyson's to see if it matched the online description. Allyson's told the florist they needed an arrangement of red, purple, and yellow flowers...that's it. No sizing, no other pictures, nothing. So for $45 and a thin description this poor local florist was flying blind. I tried contacting Allyson's to ask for a refund and unsurprisingly, Kathy Anne is living up to her online reputation. She hung up on me and then the secretary hung up on me. I am reporting them to the Attorney General in Ohio and I encourage anyone else reading this who has been scammed by them to do the same. I wish i could give 0 stars! I ordered a $125 arrangement for my wife for our 11th anniversary. A random local florist (who shows as "out of business" online) shows up and assembles the arrangement in the back of her SUV . . . at 7pm in the evening . . . which killed dinner plans for the evening. For the money, i got 4 roses, 3 Peonies, and some small filler plants in a small vase. I searched for a florist local to me and these guys come up . . . upon more research after receiving the arrangement I realize they come up regardless of the town you search for . . . they are located in Ohio and are farming work out to "florists" in the area. My credit card is charged a week later. I call them to discuss the order and let them know I did not receive what I paid for. They won't answer my call or return my messages. I am now working with my credit card company to help find resolution on this issue. To anyone else out there thinking about these guys, I would say move on, they are a scam. read more

I ordered flowers for from my brother and I for our uncle's celebration of life. We are out of state so we were not able to go to it in person and I always try to order from a local place whenever I order flowers. In this instance I should I looked at reviews first. The celebration of life was on a Saturday, I got a call from a blocked number on Sunday the day after. I did not answer the phone because it was blocked and I assumed it was spam. It was Kathy (sp.?) from the shop and she let me know that their flower shipment was late that week and they'd try to get the flowers out to the address later that week when they received their order of florals. Of course when I got that I couldn't believe it, because the event was the day before. I was not able to call back because the number was blocked. I called the store itself and they were not open because it was a Sunday. I sent an email to their email that was in the Contact Me section of their website and it came back right away as undeliverable. I then filled out the form on their contact me site and it kept getting errors and I was not able to submit. I was able to get a hold of someone on Monday when the store opened and none of the two people that I spoke to were very apologetic. They said that they didn't know it was an event even though I clicked the box when ordering online that it was a funeral/celebration of life. They said that while they saw that, I didn't put the name of the place where the event would be so they just ignored that. A name was not mandatory on the form, also the event was at a private home. If it was mandatory on the order form I would have put that it was an event at a private home. I needed to call to change the address though because where the event was held was not where I wanted the flowers to go after the event, it was at a friend's house. They were eventually able to deliver my order on Tuesday. Truly, the whole thing was very disappointing and I'm not sure how this flower shop is able to stay open with all of these issues that I experienced. read more
