Again, no charge in spite of investing some time and effort for which they could have charged something. We're glad we found a mechanic we can trust.

They preformed a computerized wheel alignment and installed a new set of 4 Pirelli Scorpion tires for the same price as the other ones. Now my family is back on the road, and the car handles great. Vacuum hoses were broken during valve cover gasket install, excess oil was not cleaned out per proper installation. Oil drain plug was over torqued and sheared. Window regulator replaced with non genuine part and window scraped when moved up and down. Gus was unprofessional and disrespectful when I brought all this to his attention. He insisted I bring the car back even though he had it a week longer than promised the first time and clearly betrayed my trust. Repeatedly hung up and ignored calls and texts. Go literally anywhere else, it's not worth it.

If you live nearby, you already know that the hours posted online are merely a fraction of how much this hard working man puts into his business. That alone has earned me respect beyond belief for him. I have seen him finding up cars or helping customers out WELL into the night. I'm not saying to push him any harder, just know that if everyone else is closed, there's a good chance Marvin may be open. And add to that, after all those hours, he STILL takes time to help when you walk in. He'll take time for a test drive & if he can't take your vehicle on the spot, he'll tell you when to come back. My partner purchased a Groupon for a synthetic oil change and was given a specific appointment time. She arrived on time, only to be told that they would not perform the service due to an upcoming snowstorm. What made this especially frustrating is that the staff openly admitted they were continuing to service other customers while refusing to honor her appointment. No alternative appointment was offered, no estimate of when to return, and no effort was made to accommodate a customer who had done everything correctly. When she attempted to obtain a refund, she was only issued Groupon credit -- despite the fact that the service was denied due to the shop's decision, not hers. Paying for a service that is then refused, with only store credit offered, represents very poor value for the customer. Appointments should mean something. If a business chooses to prioritize walk-ins or selectively cancel scheduled customers, that needs to be stated clearly in advance. Based on this experience, I can't recommend this location.
