We always stay at Marriott properties and this is the first time we were disappointed. We had two rooms both located I corners of the building. The internet did not work in either room, the phone did not work and the TV received limited channels. Although we left early , maid service had not cleaned our room when we returned. She finally showed up when the kids were napping so we told her to just change the towels. The manager offered to change rooms but it would have been too much of a hassle. The kids went down to the lobby to watch tv and use the internet Also the breakfast is usually really good at other Alofts not so here. The cinnamon bun wasn't good nor the Chorizo wrap. The wrap was like cardboard and hardly any filling and I think it was $9.95. We come to Denver twice a year and we will be using a different hotel for sure. Of course when you are at the start of your vacation, you don't want to start it out like this!

I enjoyed my stay at Aloft, hip and fun style of this place made me feel very welcomed being first time in Colorado. Friendly stuff are very helpful and informative, also very giving, I totally fell in love with their attitude! Great location with many choices of restaurants and coffee shops. I definitely recommend this place for settling into energy of Denver

2 Queen Beds

Stayed here while in town for work, it was a short overnight stay, I chose this place mainly because of the location near the convention center. It's like a block or so from the convention center so you may want to look into this place as well. Check-in was easy, gave them my particulars and they checked me in. They didn't have the room type I originally booked but no big deal. Upon entering the room, it looked nice, clean, tidy and it was good for one night. I got the 2 queen beds kind of room. View was of the alley, decent work desk to work from, tv was fine, shower was hot & nice, sink area had good room, a closet to hang your stuff and dresser to put your stuff. All in all, the room was fine. Bed was comfy, pillows were ok, Wi-Fi was working well, I was good to go. Decor was fine, kind of like IKEA furniture with making good use of space, didn't hear any amorous tourist next door so I slept pretty good. Down stairs lobby has the WXYZ Bar, I did get a drink there and the bartender gal was nice. There's also an area where they sell snacks etc. I didn't partake in the complimentary continental breakfast but it looked pretty basic and ok I guess. Good sized lobby area to work from or meeting your group. Staff was ok, not much interaction with front desk except check-in/check-out. Not sure of their regular prices as my rate was through the convention/trade show I was a part of. A lot of hotels in downtown, this worked out well for me when going back & forth to convention center, meeting at restaurants for meetings, near 16th St mall to catch the free bus, easy to meet me coworkers that were staying in other hotels, my overnight stay was uneventful which is totally fine with me.

Lower right: soft guestroom carpet, like comfy slippers under bare feet. Upper left: bathroom tile colder than the Denver winter outside.

My stay at the aLoft Denver Downtown was generally uneventful but for two moments of significant sensory shock and discomfort. First, in the middle of the night I walked into the bathroom and holy crap the stone tile was cold. It was 20 degrees outside and I swear this floor felt even colder. Like an ice pan at a Thai ice cream place or a rink fit for ice dancing or hockey. Yikes. Maybe the zoo had extra tile from the polar bear enclosure. Tread carefully with bare feet. Second, it could have been a prior guest or maybe the hotel housekeeping service heard I was coming, but in the early morning I stumbled back over the cold tiles to the shower with my PJs still on, leaned in to the shower to turn on the water and promptly got sprayed right in the face. The ample-sized fixture was pointed directly at the shower door - exactly where I was standing. I tried to evade the spray but despite my stretching to reach the handle I eventually had to jump all the way in to turn it off. The jokester landed a direct hit! My jammies were soaked, water was everywhere and it took multiple towels to clean up the wet. I was seriously pist. On my way out I reported the travesty to the front desk but the clerk and the maintenance guy he was talking to just laughed. "Bet that woke you up quick"! Yeah, a big sarcastic ha ha to you guys too. Otherwise the hotel is fine but unexceptional.

One of my favorite hotels in the whole-wide-world! The Aloft in Downtown Denver is absolutely beautiful! It's one of the new hotels in Downtown Denver and is definitely hip and stylish! Located a block away from all the different must-see landmarks such as the Convention Center and the 16th Street Mall, this hotel is a wonderful walking location. 15-20 min train ride from the Airport. I was able to get here with no problem. I stayed here during my weekend trip for Cinco de Mayo and it was fabulous! I checked in around 12 PM and was extremely tired as I took a 5 AM flight that morning. I was greeted by the lovely Tiffany and Katie and they were absolutely phenomenal with the customer service. I had remembered Tiffany as I booked my reservations a couple of months previously through a 3rd party and called to ensure that I would have 2 beds, so it was amazing to be able to put a name to a face, and it was so refreshing to see that Tiffany provided the same welcoming services in person just as on the phone. I was able to check in to my room early from the young ladies and I was so appreciative of this! 5 stars for just being accommodating during my stay. The layout of the rooms was fantastic! As stated previously, the hotel has a funky, hip vibe to it. It offers a trendy décor and eclectic ambiance. The rooms were very clean and spacious for two people. We had a back view looking over to the parking garage, but that didn't bother us much as we were only in our room to sleep. I enjoyed looking at all the floor murals that are painted by a local artist! Very cool layout. Honestly, I am very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms. They have a bar and have a happy hour, but we didn't take advantage of the bar as we spent most of the day hanging outside and being a tourist. I did notice that most of the visitors resembled a young hip crowd! Let me also inform visitors that this hotel also gives complimentary water bottles. This hotel is a fabulous addition to the City! Definitely gives Denver a new hip feel to it. I will be back!

I had a great experience staying 3-4 nights at this hotel a few months back in the midst of single-digit weather. Good thing there were double doors at each entrance. My experience from checking in to checking out was fantastic. The staff members I encountered were not only nice, but they were upbeat and funny. The room itself isn't big, but I found it just right for me since I was attending a conference nearby. One of the features I enjoyed was the efficiency of space. A mini fridge was tucked under the sink. Small shelf and storage were tucked behind the sink. A sliding door separated the sink and shower/toilet. The king size bed was very comfortable. Not sure if this is a feature of all Aloft Hotels, but I liked the option of not having housekeeping come and in exchange, you can get a $5 voucher to use in their small pantry store next to the lobby. Environmentally friendly and I enjoyed the snacks. I'd happily stay at this Aloft Hotel next time I'm visiting Denver.

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

The hotel is located downtown and not far from Union Station, which made getting in from the airport via train very easy. The hotel is within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) of most downtown attractions, including bars, restaurants, and Coors Field. Anything farther was just a short car ride away. The rooms were spacious and well- designed, contemporary but still comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large. We also checked out the gym during our stay, which was bigger than expected and had a good mix of cardio machines and free weights. We did not end up dining at the hotel restaurant, but we did enjoy the Kimpton happy hour around 5pm, which was a nice perk and a fun way to unwind before heading out for the evening. Breakfast is served daily, it's supposed to be until 10, I would leave to drop my son off and be back at 0945 and daily they would be cleaning out the food options. The food was hot or miss with quality, and sometimes there were apples or sometimes bananas, nothing consistent. The first 5 days the cereal was Cheerios and labeled gluten free, the other container had lucky charms and was labeled as Chex gluten free. Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. Over all of we came to Denver for a long stay I might consider staying here but would look at options with better amenities for food and wash. For a short stay it would meet my needs.

However, if your intention is to actually enjoy the pool and resort amenities during your stay, you may be very disappointed. Access to the pool area required being placed on a waiting list, with multiple guests waiting ahead of us while others continued to arrive hoping to enjoy the facilities included with their stay. For a property at the Four Seasons level and the premium nightly rates guests pay, this experience is difficult to understand. Following the recent expansion, I would have expected the resort to have adequately planned for guest demand and ensured sufficient capacity for its amenities. Guests should not have to spend part of their vacation waiting for access to the pool. While the accommodations and check-in experience were excellent, the lack of availability and assistance regarding the pool significantly impacted the overall experience and did not meet the expectations associated with the Four Seasons brand. Rather than feeling like a luxury Four Seasons property, the hotel felt more like a small boutique hotel with inconsistent service standards. On our second day, housekeeping did not service our room in the morning. Instead, they knocked on our door around 2:00 PM to ask if we wanted the room cleaned while we were still in the room. Later that same day, we left for dinner and a show around 5:00 PM and specifically requested that the room be serviced while we were away. When we returned at approximately 8:40 PM, housekeeping was still cleaning the room. We had to wait in the lobby before we could return, which was extremely frustrating. Even after the room was completed, it had not been properly serviced. Trash was left behind, used coffee cups were removed but not replaced, leaving us without coffee for the next morning, and bathroom amenities were not replenished. This level of service was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the standards I expect from a Four Seasons property. Unfortunately, this stay did not feel like a luxury hotel experience, and it will certainly make us reconsider booking future stays with Four Seasons. Denver , Colorado

The services were available but were not actively proffered. On the other hand, their spa was utterly fantastic! The hotel food was lackluster and focused on steak over anything else. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. The room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap; I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the so-called honor bar. The room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and attentive, and the room was cleaned while I was out. The view was also very impressive. Overall, with all things considered, I'd pick a different hotel; there are better hotels in the immediate area with a lower price tag and the spa is not worth it, despite its attentive and fantastic service.
