Where do I start? My first time experience using Aloha Aina Plumbing and I have to share that both Keiko and Albert were simply FANTASTIC to work with. From my first message to them via Yelp they responded quick and was communicating with me on my service needs. They provided me with a very fair estimate for the job I needed done and on service day Albert was both professional and honest. There was a slight hiccup with the toilet I purchased because I bought the wrong size. Despite my error Albert tried his very best to figure out if there was a way to install the toilet but in the end it was decided that in my best interest I should exchange the toilet for the proper size. Water valve rusted shut so unable to install new washer. Drains broken in 3 sinks. He attempted to shut off water valve in garage but was unable to and left it leaking. Worked on the 3 sinks and left 1 sink leaking leaving a bowl underneath to catch water. Charged $1430.00 and left 2 places leaking water. He called on a Sunday night telling me I am in breach of contract that I signed and demanded payment. 1. I never saw or signed any contract 2. Never received an invoice so didn't even know how much to pay. He was rude and lied to me. I asked the office staff to send me a copy of contract and invoice. Never received. Has anyone had any issues with Aloha Aina? Albert came on a Sunday (emergency due to a leaking valve) on 7/6 and had to return on 7/7 because he needed to purchase a part to install and it was too late on 7/6. He did complete the job on 7/7 and I paid him with a check and he told me I would be getting an invoice from the office probably that day. I have called their office numerous times to get a detailed invoice and they said they will send it to me but it is almost a month and I still have not received a detailed invoice for the check I wrote. Last week I had to leave a voice mail and have not received a return call yet. I gave it a three star only because of not being able to get a copy of the detailed invoice for their service/parts and having to call numerous times. read more

I totally forgot to write a review! Back in April of 2022, we started noticing water damage in one of our soffits until we water began dripping. A few years prior, our building did it water pile retrofitting and our unit had some major damages caused by the company doing the project. This ended up being yet another problem they tried to cover up. Keiko got us booked quickly and Al was able to come over the next day. The work started with some exploring and Al was able to locate the leak.. only problem: it was at a part of the pipe that was extremely hard to get to. Al did EVERYTHING he could to get to the leak without having to do major cutting.. which I appreciated, but we ended up having to cut into a wall. One of the drainage pipes from a bathroom sink was leaking due to the pipe being partially cut... and haphazardly patched, but the patchwork was now leaking. Al quickly did it the right way and we were good to go! I could have saved him tons of time if I let him just cut the wall but I'm grateful he was so flexible. The price was absolutely fair, too. I had a problem with a lot of water leaking from under the toilet. Albert showed up within the time frame that I was told. He was absolutely wonderful from the moment he got here. He even put on shoe coverings before entering my home. He listened to me explain what had been happening and went straight to work. Albert found the problem and proceeded to work his magic. I watched from the bathroom doorway, and he explained his procedures. He had to snake the drain too. But he showed me why and did not proceed until he had quoted me the cost and got my ok. No surprises with this man. He had the drain snaked, wax ring replaced, and the bolts for the toilet replaced and tight. The toilet no longer feels like you're on a carnival ride. He made sure to check everything to make sure the job was done. He was efficient, quick, and cleaned up after himself. He didn't wear a cape but he was a super hero and saved my day. Of course I have to give big props to Keiko. She is outstanding at her job and such a joy to talk to. She's so friendly and cheery. My water heater decided to celebrate the holiday season by springing a leak. Used Yelp to contact a few plumbing companies, and the first company to respond was Aloha Aina. What caught my attention was how these guys first question was: "Can you send a picture/video so we can provide you with a better estimate?" I loved that, as, more than the other companies, these guys seemed like they genuinely wanted to get your sh!t fixed as soon as possible. After sending a video of the leak, they provided an estimate (that later ended up being pretty much what I paid), and we were already agreeing to an appointment! I wanted to change the water heater in my condo because we had a required water heater check. Mine was still functioning well, but I decided to change it because it was the original when I purchased the condo new, and I wanted to avoid a problem in the future. I researched different companies and was pleasantly surprised that many had very good Yelp ratings. I selected three with good ratings and called all three to get estimates. Aloha Aina was the second one I called, and the quoted price was $100 less than the first one I called. Aloha Aina quoted me a price but also said that if I get a lower quote, I should give them a return call, and they will see if they can match the quote. The third company did get back to me, but it took them so long that I decided not to go with them because they did not respond in an acceptable amount of time. So, I went with Aloha Aina because of its perfect five ratings. I am giving them a "5 rating" because they had the best price, a quick response, and everything went smoothly. This is something that I found extra special. I was waiting for a call on the day of the appointment because I had arranged with the condo management to reserve one of the elevators, and I needed to go down and meet the technician to use the elevator. I had a knock on the door, and the technician was standing outside the door with the new water heater, all the tools, and all the supplies. He came in efficiently, changed the water heater, answered my questions, took the old heater out, and was gone in a relatively short time. My experience with Aloha Aina was as good as it could be. 10 stars! Sunday afternoon, pipe cracks and there's torrential rain. Emergency! Called a few companies and no answer or no availability. Started to panic but I tried calling Aloha Aina with their 5 star reviews crossing all my fingers and toes. They were available and had somebody come out 1 hour later. They did an amazing job at a reasonable price that was less than I thought it would be for a Sunday afternoon emergency. Super nice, courteous and just good people! From start to finish. Customer service from Keiko was quick but she was also so kind and sympathetic and Albert was great about calling ahead to let us know when to expect him and then he did a great job and showed such Aloha throughout even though he had to work in heavy rain. Where do I begin to tell Yelpers how fantastic this company is!? My kitchen sink was clogged and leaking on a Saturday. We already know night and weekend plumber needs are really expensive but I reached out here on Yelp! for a quote anyway and Keiko was the first to answer. She gave their rates without being wishy washy or pushy which anyone has to appreciate. We decided to wait until Monday (cuz it's So much cheaper!) and Albert was assigned to me. He was a little late but Keiko was sure to be in touch and let me know he was on his way. He arrived within half an hour and went to work. He tried several things and just couldn't resolve the problem by snake. He was pretty sure he knew where the issue was and knew that it would decently be good deal of work. Albert was careful to fold up my kitchen rug and set it aside when he got there and cleaned up after himself before he left. It was the little dust pan and broom for me. His mama taught him right! Early Saturday morning the hot water side on the wash basin faucet was spewing hot water. The shut off valve would not shut off the water completely. We were loosing gallons of hot water in an hour. My solar water heater started to leak and needed to be replaced. After shopping around and getting quotes from multiple businesses, it came down to price and availability. Not only did Aloha Aina Plumbing quote me the best price, but that price also included removal of old heater. Surprisingly, some other businesses don't include that in their estimate... so sont forget to ask when inquiring. I had family visiting, so it was important that I got this problem fixed ASAP. Keiko was very quick to reply to all my messages, and we scheduled for my heater to be serviced within 2 days of our initial contact.
