I called requesting a quote just to remove the solar panels for the water heater that came with my home as I have to replace the entire roof because of damage from the Kona Low. They needed to send someone out here to see it. I found this strange. I seriously just wanted the quote as their phone number was on my water heater so they would know best what to do. I knew already that this may just be a grab for money since I want the quote and I'll just take the fee. Turns out taking off and putting back on the solar panel is a big cost. What I thought would be about 1k was over 4k. A quarter of the price of my roof project. Just had my faucet replaced this Friday. Did the cost make me feel all warm and fuzzy? Nope. But did the quality of work make me feel like it was worth the price? Hell yes. Keep reading to see why I still give them a five star rating. I initially put out a Yelp RFQ to see if I could get some pricing on this install and what I received was atrocious. I received flat rate quotes that seemed reasonable but then I had to provide ALL the parts and materials; I received quotes that were not quotes at all; I received messages that refused to even give me a ballpark number. However, when All Aloha Plumbing showed up, I decided to give them a try. The first thing that popped out was how responsive they were - automated, AI, or real person, I appreciated the swiftness. Then, I got the phone call within an hour to schedule. The lady at the other end was very accommodating with my tight schedule. The time was mine and they were going to work with it. Scheduling was easy peasy lemon squeezy - the receptionist was very understanding and so was the assigned tech, especially when I was running a bit late. Honestly, the price was the scariest part of this experience - I was not expecting it to cost that much (let alone as a new homeowner). I was very tempted to cheapen out and bring out the ole "why am I paying this much for a job that takes 15 minutes to do?!" diatribe. But I decided against since as an IT guy, I also receive the same statements from customers and even management alike, "Why do we even pay them so much? They don't do anything but sit at their computer!" After seeing the breakdown of pricing, I understood why the price was the way it was. And honestly, take all the parts together and they easily equal to half the total price after taxes. Now, take the remaining amount and add in a reasonable hourly rate and what remains is the most interesting part of this service: Three Year Warranty. I hope never to use it but having that peace of mind is worth it. Ultimately, they do need to make profit and I have no issue with that. Price is trumped by excellent customer service, transparency, and honesty. After watching the tech, Shaq(sp?) work for four hours to install my faucet, p-trap, angle valves, and pop-up (the age of the old stuff caused some difficulties resulting in the hand saw coming out), I can tell you right now I would not in a million years do this as DIY without causing myself thousands of dollars of damage in the process. Shaq was very knowledgeable and had the skills to prove it. He also helped me find my shut off valve for my unit (woes of a new homeowner) as well as gave me some tips and tricks if I ever need to perform future DIY in the future. His ability to react and adjust to challenges is a huge plus and added to what made me forget how much I was paying, haha. And honestly, I have never seen someone quadruple check their work to ensure there were no leaks or unseen issues before leaving at 8PM on a FRIDAY night. Ultimately, I chose to with All Aloha Plumbing because of their customer service, transparency, and they show pride in the work they do. Review is only for getting an estimate b/c I did not end up using their services. Their chat responses on yelp & text utilize AI bots, which can be good or bad depending on your preference. The responses are fast (and continuous like they keep messaging you until you respond), but when I scheduled the estimate w/a person, I had to repeat all the same info anyway. When the AI bot asked for feedback, he did give me the option to request a response from a human. Rep who inspected my property was friendly & informative. He provided 3 estimates (I had multiple plumbing needs). I did feel like I was being sold and a little pressured. My shower had a knock in pipes and had no cold water only hot. So after researching I knew the mixing valve or front cartridge was bad or clogged i attempted to take it apart and ran into trouble getting the mixing valve out So I called on Saturday I called to request for a plumber on Sunday and was scheduled for 8-12. My water has already been off for 2 days at this point. So I wake up Sunday at 7 so I'm ready for phone call for my arrival scheduled appointment. Hr after he goes by it's now 12 and I call and ask what's going on. Was told by the female your technician is stuck on an emergency job I'm like wait so you only have one guy who's weekend crazy. So she bumped my appt to 2-4 I said fine l. So right at 4 hey a call that he is on the way I was like ok. Meet the young plumer take him up to the shower and as soon as he seen the pipe was CPVC he immediately was not feeling it the vibe I go. I told him I told them what pile it was. So tell him the problem and he said he can cut open the wall more which was fine and cut out the valve and cap the lines and he woukd come back on Tuesday I said wth so I'm going to be stuck 2 more days when you woukd have finished the job if you were here for my schedule appt 8-12. I said what if you crack the pipe then you will just leave me stranded after paying you so much money up front. I asked for the total estimated for him to do this and change the valve on Tuesday and was quoted around $2300 which is crazy to just change a shower valve. I said don't you have the parts to just fix and replace the parts that are bad he kept trying to convince to change the whole thing. I said no so he then quoted me $1200 to change the presume balance and cartridge I said wait for 6 screws I was like no way this is crazy. The young boy I know was only getting his info from there job assessment so not mad at him . I said I'll pay your dispatch fee but no thank you. I took off Monday from work got up early and went to pace supply and bought both parts for $86 I came home sprayed penetrating oil into old part and was able to take both out and change them out and got water back on in a few hrs. Solo long story short I paid $86 to change it and these guys wanted either $1200 to do what I did or pay $2500 to change everything out and risk pipes breaking and being charged more if they had to open the wall to get to them then leaving me the broken wall and more repairs to fix that they cat . You guys are taking advantage of customers thinking they don't know any about plumbing but a lot of us just need help oh for got to say I asked why can't he just use CPVC PARTS TO RIX IT HE TOLD ME NOBUSY CARRIED THEM ON THE WEEKENDS. I said really homedepote and Lowe's and citymill all carry assortment of them. So tells me that he thought I was oblivious and no smart enough to know . Don't trust them. They charged me $175 just to come out. Once they got here they said it would be $250 to diagnose the problem with the water heater and would take about 30 minutes. Then they would give me an estimate to repair or replace it. The water heater is less than 5 years old but it sounded to me that they just wanted to replace it. They led me to believe the $175 to come out included the diagnosis. I was very surprised it actually $425 to find out what was wrong and then time and materials after that. read more

Scheduling nightmare and dubious company. I called to schedule an appointment on a Saturday, 12/6. Haley calls me twice afterwards to reschedule to a later time on 12/6 and then again to cancel my 12/6 appointment all together, saying two of her technicians called out sick that day. I reschedule an appointment for the next week on Tuesday, 12/9. I call the day before on 12/8 to confirm the appointment time, they tell me between 8-10am. I TAKE OFF FROM WORK work to meet them on 12/9. I get a call from them at around 9am just double checking to see if I'm still available from 11am-1pm today?? Apparently the person I talked to on 12/8 messed up the confirmation time. My dad takes off from work to cover the 11am-1pm appointment time, since I can't take off from work last minute. Guess what? THEY NO SHOW from 11-1pm. My dad has to go back from work and we cant wait around anymore for these guys. What a waste of time. On top of everything we were relying on them to come and help diagnose a leak....that is still leaking 1 week+ because they kept rescheduling when they said they were going to come! BTW these guys share a number that is used by multiple "companies". Most of the times I called them I appeared to be sent to a call center not within the USA. Their number always changes too on their website, its just a weird setup. read more

The bottom of my toilet cracked late on a Friday night, flooding my bathroom. I called All Aloha Plumbing for emergency services and paid a $180 consult fee. I was told the technician would attempt to fix the problem right away, including toilet replacement if needed. When the tech arrived, he offered me two options: a temporary fix that might work for $800, or a full toilet replacement for a staggering $2,700. Despite the high price, I agreed to the replacement to get it taken care of quickly, and paid a $600 non-refundable deposit. The appointment was scheduled for Monday. I confirmed the time the night before, yet 30 minutes before the scheduled visit, I received a call saying the tech was running late and needed to reschedule to Wednesday. I had no choice but to agree. At that point, I started researching. Turns out this company has a pattern of overcharging and rescheduling. I got quotes from two other plumbers, both of whom said a toilet replacement should cost no more than $200-$300 total. I felt scammed. In the end, I installed the toilet myself. It cost me $240 for the toilet, and I used my own tools. I called the company to request a refund or at least the emergency fee waived--since no actual work was performed--but got the runaround. They promised a callback, which never came. To top it off, the technician didn't do anything during the consult. He just looked at the toilet, didn't give me clear answers, and was quick to collect the deposit. He didn't even shut off the water valve--I had to figure that out myself. This experience felt like a total scam. I paid $780 and got absolutely nothing but delays and false promises. Local families like mine deserve better. Avoid this company. I had a leak from my under the counter Aquasana water filter that continued to leak after I changed the filters. So I called All Aloha Plumbing and yesterday CJ came to check on my system. He recommended that I change the entire housing of the water filter. He called John at the office who offered me to get another water filter installed for $1759.16. After I ipaid using my credit card. After he left, I checked how much a new water filter would cost and found it was only $224! So I felt that what All Aloha charged me was way too much! Today, I called to cancel the order. They were nice enough to allow me to cancel, just to deduct $28.50 for the visit yesterday. I don't know how they can charge so much for a simple thing. My friend can install it for free. I was going to rate it 1 star for the high cost, but because they were nice to give me back my money, I gave 2 stars. read more

They started off really great customer service and performance. Then it went to no communication no pictures on work performed and having to called them repeatedly for info requested. I paid close to $1800.00 for only 100 - 150 linear feet 1 copper pipe to be run from water heater to 1/2 of a home, replacing all old galvanized piping and put copper into bathroom and kitchen. The whole house is 400 sq but this was only 1 pipe from the hot water heater. Which is located in the center and the bath was less then 100 feet away the kitchen right across. They only put the pipe into the bath stopped at a outdoor flex line to the kitchen. The flow of the water to the kitchen sick was bad. The plumber said just change the sink like I did not the other home. NO supply lines were changed there, and none were said to be changed here. He also said it needed a new water heater. Both of which would solve the problem. But he never metioned the bent flex pipe outside the house that ran water into the home. THis was the restriction. I had to call a handy man out to put in a new sink which did not solve the problem. The man took a picture of the flex line said this is your problem copper should be into the home. I told him I just paid to have copper pipe put it to replace the old galvanized and it was to be run into both bathroom and kitchen. Well THEY STOPPED at the Flex line and did not run it in. I had to pay to have it done and asked for reimbursement but they refuse. The hot water heater is fine, it just had to be flushed. I would not use these plumbers again. read more

The staff are all friendly and, for the most part, responsive. This review is more about the high prices and the lack of transparency. I needed repair work done asap, and since nobody else could assist me sooner, because it was Christmas week, I decided to move forward because they were able to book an appointment for me. I was very specific and asked them to provide a breakdown of the charges at the time of the assessment, in the quote. While trying to schedule service, I was informed by Josiah, who came out for the assessment, that if I paid a $700 upfront deposit, it would lock in my appointment. I was also assured that my invoice would include a breakdown, as requested. However, the next day, after the work was done and I received my invoice, it was a lump-sum charge. It's disappointing because when you call, the automated recording says the call is being recorded, so I know they have my conversation with Josiah on file. Work was performed on 12/22/25. I immediately emailed to question the invoice, but received no response. I sent a follow up 12/26/25 with no response. I got a text from Lani on 12/27/25 inquiring about how my experience was. I shared the information about emailing and not receiving responses. I was told via text that my concerns would be shared and that someone would contact me. On 12/29/25, I sent another email. Response received on 12/30/25 apologizing for the lack of response, and the email would be shared with the production manager. 01/02/26 I sent another email expressing my frustration with the poor communication and set a deadline for their response. Received an email on 01/05/26 (deadline date) from John Bradley, the account manager, stating that the price quoted is an "all-inclusive upfront pricing". I immediately responded, asking again for a breakdown. As of today, 01/13/26, there has been no response to my 01/05/26 email. Almost all professional and transparent companies are not afraid to show how they are charging their customers - labor, materials, shipping, etc. All Aloha Plumbing is not one of these companies. The "all-inclusive" price for a two-piece elongated floor-mount back outlet toilet, assembled and installed on-site, was $2,895. Bottom line, beware of their high prices and lack of transparency. Are they able to help with emergency services? Yes. Is it worth the price? Not if you can wait, because they are very overpriced. If you have no other choice and can't get anyone else, then you have no other choice. But it is obvious they really don't care about the recordings unless it's to their benefit. They rush you to pay a deposit to book the appointment, or give you three quotes, and always recommend the most expensive one. They are quick to charge you, but after that, it's crickets. I had to send 3 follow-up emails after they already gotten my money. Lesson learned. read more
