Pricy store with limited options and very average desserts. We ordered the mango desert and it was average in taste and flavor.

Great Shaved ice. It was similar to the ones we had in Hawaii . We will visit this place again.

Now you will have to wait in a line but it is a small price to pay for the taste of shave ice done right. I loved this place and I plan on visiting again really soon.

The Shaved Ice was EXCELLENT! Flavorful, soft, didn't melt quickly, and "hit the spot." However,…read morethe amount of TIME I spent WAITING of my order was NOT okay. I arrived at 3:01 pm on a Monday, literally 1 minute after they opened and I was the 4th in line... it took around 10-15 minutes for my turn at the register. Then I sat down to wait for my order and when they called the next person's name, it was for the 2nd person in line.... Wait what?? I literally continued to wait and watch the guy preparing the shaved ice orders at the speed of a turtle, errr more like a tortoise actually. He was the only one besides the cashier working at first but then another guy shows up and instead of jumping on the second shaved ice machine (that was not being used at all), to speed up the orders, he just looks lost as he restocks some cups and lids etc... like HELLO there is a LINE OUT THE DOOR NOW, what are ya'll doing? The cashier was very friendly and chatted a little too much with customers which caused her to be slow as well. I got to the store and was in the line at 3:01 pm and I didn't leave with my shaved ice until 3:44 pm! I was the 4th order of the day! I almost had to leave with out my Oder and tell them I'd come back later to pick it up as I had to be somewhere at 4pm... I think it would be best if the shop utilized a kiosk or multiple kiosk for customers to place orders (the store has signs stating that its cashless anyway and it's 2026), and dedicate their staff to preparing the orders faster... two machines and two people at least making the orders and one person restocking supplies and bussing the tables as needed. It's shaved ice and smoothies/slushies... it should not take 43 minutes. It should be more like 5 to 10 mins at the most. It's not like the people in front of me had large groups either , there was one person, then a group of 2, then group of 3, then just me. Anyway until they staff that second ice shaver machine and train the current "chef" to speed it up, plan on waiting for aT least 40-60 minutes to finally enjoy the perfectly delish shaved ice you've been craving all day/week/month/year/however long

They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

The ice was perfectly shaved and there were no hard chunks through the shaved ice. It was super flavorful and their be buttah cakes were so delicious. So I finally went to go visit their booth and they did not disappoint. The staff was so kind and had amazing energy . My only regret was not eating it fast enough! The Yelp information doesn't reflect that the location that's listed ( 27812 Loyola Ave, Hayward…read more ) is not where the actual shave ice is sold at. This address is a residential house. The restaurant or food truck or business is not at that location selling anything. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. As for the hours that Yelp lists (12:30am to 5:30pm) , we were at that location (27812 Loyola Ave) at that time (2:30pm) on Sunday 11/12/2023, and there wasn't a anything there that was selling shave ice. My guess is a food truck is only for special events at an arranged place that are planned ahead of time. I see that this business has been "claimed" on Yelp and "Verified by business owner over 3 months ago", so it would have been best if the owner updated the company's information on Yelp to explain where exactly this business/restaurant/food truck is located or if it's for special events only. It does say "Shaved Ice, Food Truck" but I thought that meant it also had a food truck in addition to a physical location/restaurant ( 27812 Loyola Ave). I give 4 stars because detailed information is missing and should be added by the business owner.

It's nice to have a go-to Poke place like Oke Poke! My last visit was for a free dole whip (pineapple and strawberry available) and there were several kind employees waiting behind the counter to assist in any way. The seating area and food preparation areas are nice and clean, location pleasant in a not-too-busy-but-accessible part of downtown Walnut Creek, and of course the poke itself is very tasty too. I like how ordering on the app for pickup is a streamlined and simple process (for group orders too!) There's create your own poke, sushi burritos, or nachoes or you can go with a recommended preset. Avocado is not extra!! And there are lots of unique options from rice noodle base to crawfish as a choice of protein. ~$20 for a large bowl with 5 scoops of protein is a good price to me. Looking forward to lots more poke as the weather warms up this summer!

The parking is over, there is a parking garage within a block of this shop. Their bowl size with the 2 proteins is $17 and some change. The moment I find out a place has bad quality fish, I pretty much blacklist them. It's not worth the food poisoning, so I'm super happy to find a second poke place with good fish! They also season their poke bowls well and don't skimp out! I highly recommend.

The chocolate frozen yogurt is that deep, dark flavor that makes me go, "oooooooh."
