Overall: 3.5 out of 5 I enjoyed this themed night market! Clearly I'm biased and prefer flavorful over Instagramable items. So far I prefer this food event over Foodie Land due to the mostly AAPI focused food vendors and shopping booths. Not going to lie the prices will be inflated since the vendors have to pay "rent" for the space they take up. Strategically go with at least 4-5 people so you can try different things. Coming early is recommended, so you do not have to wait in the long line of cars to get in the parking lot to park and to get through security at the entrance. There are a good amount of food and merchandise vendors with some from SoCal as well! Some are local restaurants that have some off of menu items / special exclusive items for this event only.

The chicken was flavorful, juicy and tender. I could taste the herbs thoughout the meat. The potatoes were sprinkled with a lavender sea salt and smelled so fragrant. The golden potatoes were cooked on the bottom of the rotisserie with the chicken juices dripping down on them. They were so soft and buttery. Yum! I would definitely get this again and I want to try the porchetta next time.

The ingredients were arranged differently than any gryo I've previously had, making it a bit difficult to eat. The meat was also a little dry and just a bit too salty. Also, as messy as it was, I didn't see any napkins on the truck (thank goodness I keep hand sanitizer wipes in my purse). Since there were all kinds of cuisines and culinary offerings present (burgers, Indian, Mexican, Boba Tea etc.), I'd probably come and check them out again.

I called a lot of places, but Mustache Mike's was the only company able to make it happen with less than 24 hours' notice. As luck would have it, they already had another event less than 10 miles away. We booked the truck for two hours, and it was an instant hit. Everyone loved the flavors, and the shaved ice was cold, sweet, vibrant, and refreshing. I had to try several flavors myself -- sorry, but not sorry. Worth every drop and every penny spent. The cookie monster genuinely tasted like cookie dough soft serve. And orange had a very good citrusy kick to it while staying a bit creamy! This is the perfect treat after a hot day outside, so we make sure to save some room for this. However, for some reason the service was not great on that day. They weren't friendly at all and when I asked for a reasonable customization, they said no and just wanted to get to the next car (like I said, there was practically no line at this time). Adding stars for the soft serve, but hope customer service improves over time! :)
